00:18Ginlay Media and today we're going to be talking about outfitting your other
00:21best friends this holiday season, your gadgets. I understand that you're going
00:26to be going through some apps that we should be downloading at the very end of
00:29this episode but first we're going to go over the products that we have to offer
00:32on Tinseltown. Let's start with my favorite thing which is the Refinery29
00:36iPhone case and this is made with uncommon and we actually have three
00:40styles your phone is wearing one and my phone is wearing one. It comes in the
00:44iPhone 4 which is that and the iPhone 5 which is mine and these are really great
00:51cases that are designed by our own designers at Refinery29 and they retail

01:02these are texting gloves and the thing about texting gloves is that they're
01:05usually really really ugly right so the reason that these gloves work versus your
01:10normal glove is that the fabric here can conduct act as a conductor of the
01:15electricity from your fingertips so that's kind of actually strange to hear
01:18but your fingers give off this electric current that your phone screen can pick up so
01:22these gloves are great because they allow that current to continue even though
01:26while keeping your hands warm. So you can text you can do whatever you want without
01:30having to take your gloves off which is awesome during the winter time. Totally. Cool and
01:34these are 48 dollars again and these are from Bougie Baja. Let's move on to these
01:41iPad cases they're really really really thick and they're from Bagu and so what
01:45kind of what kind of iPad user would like these cases? Well as you said they're very
01:50thick so they're super durable so for every day taking them to work if you're
01:54traveling if you're sticking in a backpack with a bunch of other stuff it'll
01:59totally hold up which is great. Yeah and these are actually pretty affordable
02:03they're 28 dollars and they come in two styles the coral and this beautiful
02:07sailor stripe and they're so comfortable like you have to feel the inside of them
02:11they're like a sweatshirt. I know your iPad probably doesn't have any feelings but
02:15if it did it'd be really comfortable in there and we also have these iPad cases
02:19from Native X and they're made with a Pendleton fabric a real Pendleton fabric
02:23with a leather closure and they're a lot thinner actually than the baggy ones. Right so
02:27if you have like a smaller bag that you just got to slip something into this
02:31would be great. Yeah so it protects against like nicks and like scratches and
02:34everything and I mean these are just awesome you probably have a sat sweats print
02:38item of your own. Now your iPad case gets one as well and these are 48 dollars.
02:45And last but definitely not least we have the Olivia Harris by Joy Grison
02:50tech wallet and this is I know I already said that the phone case was my
02:54favorite thing but this is like forget I said that this is my favorite favorite
02:57favorite thing. I have one in the back here it's silver and we also have one in
03:01bronze it's 98 dollars and I mean if you're going out this is literally all you
03:07need to take with you instead of like the big bulky clutch or something or your
03:10regular handbag like how little is this. So the cool thing is you open it up you
03:16put your cards in here your cash your keys in here and in the center is where
03:22your phone lives it holds iPhone 4s if you squeeze your iPhone 5 in there it can
03:27fit but it's made for iPhone 4s with a case without a case and look at how cute it
03:31is. Just this right there. Cool so I understand you have five apps to download to
03:42make our lives easier right? Yeah so the five apps I picked are to make our life
03:47easier during this holiday season. The first thing is Hotel Tonight which is an
03:52app that allows you to get same-day holiday deals so you'll get a hotel for 50 to 70
03:57percent off so the standard in New York instead of being around five hundred
04:00dollars a night will be three hundred dollars a night. The second app that I
04:03have is called Gojee, G-O-J-E-E and it's a food and drink app and so the
04:09reason I like this versus like usual recipe websites is you can put in
04:14ingredients that you want to use and ingredients you don't want to use so you
04:17can say I have chicken in my refrigerator but I hate cilantro and I'll
04:21give you a bunch of recipes that kind of you know agree to what you're putting in
04:25and it has really big pictures it's really beautiful and all the recipes
04:28are sourced from the best food blogs on the internet. The third app that I had is
04:32Supply so for shopping I guess for finding things that you would want for
04:37the holidays or finding things the perfect gift for your friends and family
04:40Supply is a great way to kind of search and sort through gifts from male
04:45female you can put certain price restraints and then the fourth app that I
04:50have is called letterpress and it's bought kind of like boggle I don't know
04:55if you remember that game where you have a bunch of letters and you can make
04:57words right so it's that with a bit of a twist and it's super fun it has like a
05:02really beautiful interface and you and a family member can kind of play a word
05:06game and then the last thing I have is TaskRabbit which is a bit more of like a
05:11utility type of app but everyone knows during the holidays you're so busy you
05:15have all these last-minute errands you have to run or maybe you have to sneak out to get
05:19your significant other a gift and TaskRabbit be your best friend so what you
05:22can do is list any type of task on TaskRabbit and they'll find someone to do
05:26it for you so those are the five apps that you should definitely download this
05:29holiday season I think they're all free actually well that's which is cool yeah
