00:00What you'll need are some fle- flesh.
00:07Hi guys, I'm Chloe with Refinery29 and today on IDIY we're going to be making a flower crown
00:13that's going to help you embrace your inner boho. So let's get started.
00:16What you'll need are some fresh flowers, scissors, and some floral wire.
00:21So for your first step, we're going to take the wire and measure a piece to fit around your head.
00:25And you can just kind of guesstimate. I made mine a little bit smaller than around my head
00:32just because the weight of the flowers once you put them on is going to bring it down a little
00:36bit.
00:37And then just start twisting it around.
00:40Next you'll want to take another piece of wire and I'm just going to wrap it around the piece
00:46so that it's more secure and a little bit thicker. This wire is pretty thin.
00:51Now you'll want to start attaching your flowers.
00:52And I have some daisies here and tulips and then some greenery.
00:58And cut the flower where it stops being pliable.
01:01So I'm going to do a couple inches down.
01:04Take a new piece of wire and then I'm going to wrap it very close to the edge of the
01:11stem.
01:11And you can do as many as you want.
01:14You can do just the front of the crown with flowers or you can continue all the way around the
01:19back.
01:19So now I've worked my way around most of the flower crown.
01:23And what's nice is the green leaves, the little flowers right here, kind of cover and hide the wire on
01:29the top.
01:29So you can kind of just position it depending on what filler flower you use.
01:34And now I'm just going to go ahead and finish it up and wrap it around to the very first
01:40flower.
01:40So I finished wrapping all the pieces around and I'm really happy with how it's turned out.
01:45This is such a great project if you're going to any outdoor concerts or festivals this summer.
01:50This is the name of the underground shows.
01:53So now I'm going to rise up and be at the very first place.
01:59Bye.
01:59Bye.
01:59Bye.
01:59Bye.
