00:06Hi guys, I'm Chloe with Refinery29, and today I'm going to be making a version of the Kenzo
00:11sweatshirt that I saw on the 2013 Fall Runway. So let's get started. What you'll need is a basic
00:17crew neck sweatshirt, various ribbons, scissors, and fabric glue. So for the first step, I'm going
00:22to go ahead and cut the arms off the sweatshirt so it's a little more spring appropriate. I went
00:27ahead and tried it on and marked it at the elbow, and now I'm just going to go ahead
00:30and cut them off. I'm going to go ahead and roll the sleeves up so it shows the underside
00:35a little bit. So for the next step, you'll want to take your ribbon, and I have an assortment
00:40of greens and blacks. You'll want to go ahead and cut different pieces however long you want.
00:46I'm going to leave some edges frayed and then some cut diagonally. Start laying a pattern
00:51out, and then once you have laid out your pattern, you can go ahead and start gluing them on.
00:56So once you're done laying down all the ribbon, you're finished. This is a great project if you
01:01want to revamp an old sweatshirt for spring, and it's a great way to get a head start on the
01:06look
01:06that Kenzo has for fall.
