00:01Look at Elizabeth, she's lovely.
00:04Don't get like McMahon on me,
00:06Mansoons, the grooling all over about Elizabeth.
00:09I just said she was lovely, Jess, she is lovely.
00:14Come on,
00:15Gorilla, you're drooling so much you look like Matilda, please.
00:19Making his way down for this most important matchup,
00:23the Macho Man Randy Savage against the natural Butch Reed.
00:26Whoever comes out victorious will beat the hammer in the quarter part.
00:30That's right, now I know why your attraction to Elizabeth, Gorilla.
00:34What's that, Gorilla?
00:35Just like King Kong, right?
00:36Yeah, yeah.
00:39I'll buy that.
00:41At least you show her a little bit more respect than that Oakley McMahon does.
00:47Take a look, all decked out in blue.
00:49Look at the diamonds on Elizabeth, wow.
00:52Another former champion, Intercontinental Champion,
00:54Macho Man Randy Savage.
00:59Talk about guys with endurance,
01:01guys with ability to wrestle a great number of times in succession.
01:05I believe Macho Man has that ability, Jess.
01:08Well, definitely does.
01:09You know, I've been on the Macho Bandwagon a lot longer than any other announcer
01:13here ever has been.
01:14I realize the talent this guy had two, three years ago.
01:18Well, that's fact, you certainly have.
01:21Look at this, they're on their feet here.
01:25As the entire world is watching and applauding here at WrestleMania 4.
01:31This guy, the Macho Man, Randy Savage.
01:35What determination, what ability, high flyer, he does it all, Jess.
01:40Well, don't give him all the credit yet.
01:42He's facing a real tough customer in the natural Butch Reed.
01:45Reed's the stronger of the two, I think Macho Man's definitely gonna have to use
01:50his aerial tactics if he's going to indeed be successful.
01:53No question that the power in this match belongs to the natural.
01:57But the cunningness, the determination, the guts, the inner guts.
02:02You've got to go to the side of the match.
02:07And if it gets down to managers, you've definitely got to give Slickster the advantage.
02:14Why is that?
02:14Well, because, I mean, I wouldn't wanna stand back to back with Elizabeth in a fight, would you?
02:19No, but Elizabeth will be there if you need her, you can depend on that.
02:22I wouldn't trust a Slickster as far as I can throw him across the street.
02:26You wouldn't buy a car from Slick?
02:28Absolutely not.
02:30Really?
02:31Not even a used one.
02:32Not even a bright blue caddy?
02:34Please.
02:35Nice go behind.
02:37The natural using his weight advantage there.
02:40See, that's what the natural's gotta do.
02:42He's gotta corner Savage, cut the ring off on him, and use power stuff on him.
02:47Takes him over with a nice snapmare as we look over the shoulder of Elizabeth.
02:51Macho Man caught that one right above the eye.
02:55Ram face first into the turnbuckle.
02:57And so far it's a good game plan by Slick and the natural Butch Reed.
03:03Oh, he stopped him dead in his tracks.
03:09Macho Man with a little offense of his own right now.
03:13Went for a suplex, couldn't get that big body up there.
03:18Reed didn't have any trouble.
03:19There you see the difference in the power.
03:21Macho Man went for the suplex, Reed blocked it, Reed in turn reversed it on the Macho Man.
03:26Elbow drop and a beauty by the natural, two count only though.
03:31As referee Joe Morano was right there, and the Slickster giving all kinds of you know what for to the
03:37referee.
03:38Well, that's Slick's job out there.
03:41Every match so important.
03:43So far, Bargess in the quarterfinals, two matches set.
03:49Hulkster taking on the big guy, Andre.
03:51Right.
03:52And of course, DiBiase meeting The Rock.
03:55That's right, and the winner of this match will meet Greg the Hammer Valentine,
04:00in what I'd have to term a mild upset.
04:03You think so?
04:03Over Ricky the Dragon Steamboat.
04:05I think so too.
04:05I would have to say Steamboat held a little bit of the favorite, man.
04:08So we've seen our first upset.
04:13Both of these guys will be pulling out all the stops, you can bet on that one.
04:17You know, whoever wins this thing, Gorilla, can you imagine gonna have to wrestle four times?
04:23Absolutely.
04:24Four times.
04:26I mean, it's tough enough to wrestle one time.
04:30Elizabeth, concerned look on her face, and rightly so.
04:34Although the Hulk and Andre will only have to wrestle three times, but then again,
04:38those two meeting each other, I think, makes it equivalent to four times.
04:42It's possible.
04:43Look out.
04:44Whoa.
04:48This shot right to the kisser,
04:50of the Macho Man, who's not pairing too well at this particular point in time.
04:57You know what else could be a big key is the man who can stay injury-free in this tournament.
05:01That is ultra important.
05:03Look at that, put his head down, made a cardinal mistake for a ring veteran, Chris.
05:07Definitely did, and the Macho Man took advantage of it, and he's turned the tables.
05:11Tied his turn, but Reed turns it around, falls with an elbow, and misses the mark.
05:19Once again, he got turned around.
05:21He's close right by The Natural.
05:24Well, The Natural's using his weight well in this match.
05:27What's he saying to Elizabeth?
05:29Well, he's the better man, I guess.
05:31Well, he shouldn't be talking to Elizabeth if he's going up that rope or whatever.
05:35Wasting time, valuable time.
05:38He's still jawing away.
05:40Macho Man's on his feet now, Jess.
05:42Uh-oh.
05:43He waited too long.
05:44He's trapped.
05:46You know, I just realized why the Macho Man has Elizabeth out there,
05:50to distract his legs.
05:51Look at this, Savage going to the top.
05:53Dependent point elbow.
05:54He ain't gonna get up from it.
05:56No way, hooks the leg.
05:57He got it.
06:01What a victory.
06:02You know, I gotta give Elizabeth great credit.
06:05She distracted Butch Reed.
06:07I don't know what, maybe showing him a little leg or whatever.
06:11But she got Butch Reed looking at her, and it allowed the Macho Man to reverse,
06:15slam Reed off the rope and set him up for that big elbow.
06:18Well, you're changing your mind, Jess.
06:20You said that the Slickster was the better manager out there.
06:23I'll stand corrected now.
06:25I just realized why Elizabeth is out there.
06:29Elizabeth applauding her man, the Macho Man, Randy Savage,
06:33as he gets by in his first round.
06:36And in fact, in the quarterfinals, he will tangle with a hammer.
