00:16We need every single institution of this country.
00:20But we guarantee you that this is a temporary phenomenon.
00:24We guarantee you that the voice of the people of India, the opposition members of parliament,
00:33the youngsters who are on the streets, we are not going to forgive and forget what you have done.
00:41Because this is an assault on the voice of the people of India.
00:46This is not some normal thing that is happening.
00:54If it was that, our approach would be completely different.
01:01You have questioned the fundamentals of this country.
01:05You have attacked the soul of this country.
01:08And for that, we are not going to let you escape.
01:12Understand that?
01:14And so, whoever is watching this, there are millions of young people watching this.
01:20Your voice is in this garden.
01:23Your voice should be in the Lok Sabha.
01:25It should be in the Rajya Sabha.
01:27We are not allowed to take your voice into the Rajya Sabha and into the Lok Sabha.
01:31That is why we are forced in this garden.
01:34But your voice is in this garden.
01:36We could not stand in this garden if the people of India were not fully supporting what we are doing.
01:43And I also want the people who have carried out this assault on the Union of India.
01:50Yanish Kumar is one element.
01:52There are many others.
01:54We know who they are.
01:56We understand deeply who they are.
02:00This is a warning to you.
02:03Things are shifting.
02:06Please hit this warning.
02:08And realize that this is a new political weapon sitting in the garden.
02:12And this weapon is going to hurt you very badly if you continue going down your path.
02:19And I am saying this with love and affection.
02:22We are not nasty people.
02:25We are not evil people.
02:27But we will protect the constitution.
02:30We will protect the voice of our people.
02:32We will not back down in protecting the voice of our Indian people, of the young people of this country,
02:38of the farmers, of everybody else.
02:41I would like to thank all the opposition leaders, all civil society members, not only the people who have come
02:48here, but millions and millions of Indian people who are watching this on TV, social media.
02:56You are our strength.
02:59And we are all fighting together for the beautiful idea of our country.
03:06I am absolutely convinced.
03:08Some people are pessimistic.
03:10I am not pessimistic.
03:13This had to happen.
03:15It was important that this happened.
03:18Because this is a test of the Union of India.
03:22This is a test of the spirit of the people of India.
03:26And I am confident they are going to overcome this like they have overcome everything before.
03:33Speaker Madam, thank you for letting me speak on this important subject.
03:40I fully support the notion that Mr. Gyanesh Kumar should not only be impeached.
03:46Mr. Gyanesh Kumar should be tried in a court of law.
03:50Pride for treason and justice should be served.

03:57Now we come to the voting over this very, very important, significant proposal, resolution,
04:10that was moved by Shri Malikarjun Karkeji and on which, in the end, we had the views of
04:20the leader of opposition in Luxembourg, Shri Rahul Gandhiji.
04:27I would request you to vote on this resolution by show of hand.
05:06And these proceedings were held
05:09on the lawns of Congress President Malik Arjun Khargay's residence.
05:14And this is basically a passage of the impeach Gyanesh Kumar motion,
05:21which we just saw by the raising of hands that has been done.
05:25And there were many speeches that happened
05:28before the leader of opposition spoke.
05:30Rahul Gandhi was last speaker to speak on this entire issue.
05:33Raising many points here of how there is an institutional standstill
05:41that they see when they try to bring up the points
05:46that the opposition has to raise.
05:48So that is why they are holding this entire mock session.
05:53And Rahul Gandhi was the last one to speak
05:55as we just saw before the motion was passed.
