00:00What about the Bills on offense, Sal?
00:02In terms of, like, we just talked a little bit about how they get to 36 points.
00:06Kind of another one of these days where they get to 36 and it's like, how did they do that?
00:11But how did you feel about, like, the pass catchers?
00:15And, like, Allen had a point in the game where he might have been, like, 7 for 20.
00:19Like, it really didn't get rolling for him until late once he got to the stats.
00:25But, I don't know, like, there were drop problems.
00:27There was fumbles.
00:29How much can you take away from that side of it?
00:32Because you do get better field position a lot of these drives.
00:35But you still are going up against the Ravens defense that you were thinking you were going to go up
00:39against.
00:40I thought they looked rusty.
00:42I thought they looked like a team that had been off for two weeks.
00:45And someone had tweeted me and said, did this team even practice during the bye?
00:49And I said, no, they're not allowed, actually.
00:50They did not practice during the bye.
00:51They did practice once they got back.
00:53But that's true.
00:54I mean, they were off.
00:55You can't do that.
00:56And they look like a team that was rusty.
00:58They looked like a team that was off.
00:59And what happened?
01:00In the second half, they got their feet under them a little bit.
01:02It was a little bit smoother.
01:03The first drive of the second half, maybe second drive, they just started getting back to the things that they
01:08do much better.
01:09Now, still no excuse for the mistakes they made in the first half, obviously.
01:13And I thought Josh seemed a little off.
01:15I thought early in the game, he threw a couple of nice passes.
01:18There were drops.
01:18He seemed a little off overall.
01:20But then I think he got it back.
01:22The drops were inexcusable.
01:23You can't have that.
01:24Every tight end dropped a pass.
01:25Dalton Kincaid dropped a wide open touchdown.
01:28Tried to run before.
01:28I think he secured it.
01:30Jackson Hawes, you can't have that happen.
01:31Not only a drop, but then the ball turns into an interception.
01:34Dawson Knox had a drop.
01:36James Cook had a drop in the very first play of the game, by the way.
01:38That might have been a little behind him from Josh, but you have to catch that ball.
01:41So, yeah, I thought that those things you can't have happen.
01:45And if you are playing Lamar Jackson team, that's a lot better.
01:49Maybe they cost you.
01:50They didn't in this game.
01:51But those are the things we say.
01:52Even though every game has its own DNA, what's true in every game, no matter what the DNA is,
01:56you can't make those kinds of mistakes and expect to win consistently in the NFL.
02:00And then, of course, they had penalties again that hurt them.
02:03They had a sequence where they had the penalty,
02:06and then they had the bad play call, which I'll get to in a second, which I didn't like as
02:11much.
02:11But those are things that they have to clean up going into next week against Minnesota
02:15because the margin for error is a lot thinner
02:18because they're playing the best defense in the league, in the Minnesota Vikings, right?
02:21So, when you carry those things over, that's how you lose games.
02:24I also felt Joe Brady didn't give his team the opportunity in a couple of short yardage, especially, right?
02:30And I think he's got to be better in those moments.
02:32And he said that after the game.
02:33It was, you know, Joe, what were they doing different?
02:35I think Joe Buscelli might have asked him, what were they doing different?
02:40The reason why you didn't do the tush push.
02:42He said, nothing, it's on me.
02:44He said, I just, I have to be better.
02:46And I think that's the case.
02:48I think Joe got too cute.
02:49And that's him saying, I got too cute.
02:51I wanted to do something different.
