00:01And everybody's like, oh, the Eagles deferred.
00:02They get the ball to start the second half.
00:04Okay.
00:06Touchback.
00:06First to 10 from the 25.
00:09It was a seven-play, 27-yard drive.
00:12They got two first downs.
00:13Commanders forced a punt at the 48-yard line.
00:16Okay.
00:16They got the ball back at their own 38.
00:21Washington forced a fumble.
00:23I take that.
00:24Got the ball back at their own 20.
00:27That's when they missed the field goal.
00:29Okay.
00:29That was their decent drive.
00:31That was a big miss.
00:32And if you remember, they had a penalty.
00:33I think they had a false start from, I think the kid missed.
00:39I think he made the kick from the 17.
00:42So 17 plus 17 is 34.
00:45So he made a 34-yarder.
00:46Then they moved him back five.
00:47And then he missed the 40-yarder.
00:49So that was a big penalty.
00:50Take it.
00:51Because that was very much still a ballgame at that point.
00:52Yeah.
00:54Their second-to-last possession ended in the interception.
00:58Four plays, minus 15 yards, fourth and 25, heave.
01:02And then they were able to get something going at the very end, but really didn't matter.
01:07So the second half of this game, punt, fumble, missed field goal, interception, end of game.
01:13From a yardage perspective, the Eagles did the bulk of their damage in the first half.
01:22The Eagles finished with 113 total yards in the first half.
01:27They finished with like 200.
01:30Pulled the number.
01:31They finished with 268 for the game.
01:34They were kept under four yards per play.
01:39They didn't run the ball particularly well.
01:41They had their own penalty issues.
01:43They turned it over twice.
01:44Under four yards per play is damn good.
01:46Yeah.
01:47It was damn near suffocating defense in the second half.
01:50You want to start with the D-line?
01:52All the concern of no kin law, no pain.
01:55I thought the D-line was pretty damn good, man.
01:57Yeah.
01:57I don't know if we want to separate edges or not, but if we're just counting the guys up front
02:02with their hands in the dirt,
02:03five sacks, held the Eagles to the running backs to a 3.1 yards per carry, Saquon to 2.3
02:11yards per carry.
02:12Got to give that some credit, bro.
02:13Yeah, dude.
02:14I thought the defensive line in this game was the best performing group.
02:18I think that's an A.
02:20Go with it.
02:22The linebackers in this game, I thought Frankie Louvoo was really good.
02:26I thought Sonny Stiles was really good.
02:28Frankie was like what we used to seeing him do all over the damn place.
02:32Yeah, just an athlete with a nose for the football.
02:38Stiles and Louvoo combined for 16 tackles between the two of them.
02:42I thought linebackers were quite good in this game.
02:45Dallas Goddard has killed Washington over the years, had two touchdowns in the week one matchup, held to four catches
02:52for 30 yards.
02:54That's improvement.
02:56Saquon had the one big catch down the sideline, probably the one play where Sonny got a little spun around.
03:01But, you know, a lot of this Eagles offense is predicated on the backs getting catches and the tight ends,
03:09and it just didn't happen in this game.
03:11I thought the linebackers were quite good.
03:13Is that an A for you?
03:15A minus?
03:16You didn't have the impact plays from the middle of the field.
03:19I give him B plus.
03:23DB's in this one.
03:24Didn't have any big coverage busts.
03:27Makai Lemon, leading receiver.
03:29That's a hell of a plus.
03:30Six catches for 57 yards.
03:32I thought Trey Amos was really good.
03:34Yeah.
03:35Amik, you know what you're getting, just a hyper-competitive player.
03:39Yep.
03:39I thought Nick Cross was very good in this game.
03:42Nick will hit you, though.
03:44Nick will hit you.
03:44Well-timed run blitz with Nick.
03:48Some good pressures from Nick.
03:50Led this team with nine tackles.
03:52Had a TFL.
03:55I liked a lot of what you saw on the back end in this game.
03:59B plus again?
04:01Maybe an A?
04:02I'm one of B's.
04:04Okay.
04:05Defensively, they were good, man.
04:07We went A, B plus, B.
04:10That's probably their best defensive performance since the Seattle game.
04:13Yeah.
04:13And Seattle moved the ball.
04:14I mean, they gave it to 10 early, and then they said, nope, no more.
04:18And when they gave up the 10, it's worth pointing out, that was on a short field.
04:22Yeah.
04:23When they gave up the touchdown, it was first and 10 for the Eagles at the Washington 26.
04:29Now you'd like to point out, you can still get a stop.
04:32Yep, you can get a stop.
04:33Maybe you have to kick a field goal.
04:34But at that point in time, the sky was falling.
04:37You know what I mean?
04:39I mean, the thing about it, though, we always worry about them playing a whole game or not
04:44playing a full game.
04:46At least they finished strong on both sides.
04:50Now, we got offense and defense to finish strong.
04:54Sorry to slow.
04:55Finish strong.
04:56Can we get them to just play four quarters together?
04:59Totally.
05:00You know, I'll take it.
05:01After the touchdown, after the Saquon Barkley touchdown in the first quarter, from that
05:06point on, Philadelphia's drives went punt, punt, punt, halftime, punt, fumble, missed field
05:13goal, pick, game's over.
05:15Yeah.
05:15Not much success.
05:16That's strangling out an opponent.
05:18Hell yeah.
05:19All right.
05:20You want to do the BMF awards?
05:21The one that says, we need a Samuel L. Jackson drop for Pulp Fiction, but it's impossible
05:27because it's just all cursing, but we know what I mean when the kid, when the, when the
05:32couple steals everybody's wallets in the diner and Samuel L. Jackson says, I want mine back.
05:37And they're like, well, which one's yours?
05:38And he says, the one that says bad bleep bleep on it.
05:41That's the award winner here.
05:42The BMF award in honor of Samuel.
05:45What's his name in Pulp Fiction?
05:49Jewel Travolta's Jewels, right?
05:51What is Samuel L. Jackson's character's name?
05:53I'm blanking on that right now.
05:56And I will strike down upon thee.
05:58God, that's a good movie.
06:00I have a few here.
06:02I don't know if you want to lead, Brian.
06:03You go, you got, you, you're leading the day.
06:06Sam Cosby.
06:07That was a bad bleep bleep the other night.
06:09Going up against Jalen Carter throughout the night.
06:12Carter got the one sack late.
06:14I thought Cosby was really good in that game.
06:17I think he's been really good this season.
06:19Go to the defensive side of the ball.
06:21I thought Caleb on chase on was really good in this game.
06:24Damn good.
06:25I think he got hosed by both of those roughing calls.
06:29I was really glad chase on got home for the sack late in that game.
06:33Just to kind of validate the overall performance with a, with a stat.
06:38And I thought Nick cross was really good in this game.
06:40Nick's always good.
06:41Those are my three BMF award winners from the week eight win over the Eagles.
06:45All three of them.
06:47This was not done on purpose, but I just noticed it.
06:50What similarity do Sam Cosby, Caleb on chase on and Nick cross all have?
06:55Same year.
06:56All three of their last names start with C.
06:58Oh Lord.
07:01I don't know that that has any real impact, but I did notice it.
07:05Jeff's showing nudie pictures in the aquarium.
07:07That's why they're not paying attention.
07:12Oh boy.
07:14You got a BMF award winner.
07:15Here I'm going to go with, we need someone to step up a receiver.
07:23So I'm going to go with the three headed monster that I think all three of them stood up in
07:28Williams,
07:30Diggs, and Burks, and then flip it over.
07:38I'm going to go with Owe.
07:39I think Owe got home and then also Owe, he was moving the quarterback off his spot all day.
07:45And I like pushing him over there to Caleb on.
07:47So I'm going with Owe.
07:49Owe finished with a sack.
07:50He had a quarterback hit.
07:52He had a TFL.
07:53Owe was good in that game.
07:54Left hand up.
07:55I messed up.
07:56Samuel L. Jackson's name in Pulp Fiction is Jules.
07:59Travolta's name is Vincent Vega.
08:00So I got to own that.
08:02Left hand up, B.
08:04Boys in the aquarium.
08:06Assuming Jeff's put his phone down, you stopped looking at nudie photos.
08:08Do you have any BMF award winners from the Week 8 win?
08:11Of course.
08:12You got that from Greg?
08:14Yeah.
08:15Wow.
08:16And our guy Lou texted me.
08:17He didn't spell it right though.
08:19I know that.
08:19He sure didn't.
08:20Yeah.
08:20He forgot the E.
08:22I got to go with Caleb on chasing.
08:23Even though those were BS calls on those roughing the passers, I was excited that he was getting
08:31back there.
08:33Offense.
08:35Offense BMF wars.
08:37I'm going to go Diggs.
08:39I'm going to go Diggs.
08:40Diggs has been.
08:41He's just been performing since he got here.
08:44And my last one.
08:46My last one.
08:47I have to go with Trey Amos.
08:49He was making plays.
08:51I forgot about him.
08:52Man, he was making plays and it was one play I can't remember right now, but he had made
08:56a great deflection on the pass.
08:58And I was like, yo, who was that running back?
09:00I mean, who was that running back there like that?
09:03And then I saw Amos.
09:04I said, oh, Trey back?
09:06When did Trey get back?
09:07There it goes.
09:10Steph Diggs leads this team in touchdowns.
09:13Five touchdowns in six games.
09:15Yeah.
09:16And it's not close.
09:18Next is Rashad White with two.
09:19Trey Burks with two.
09:20Actually, that's just.
09:21So, Rashad White has three because he also has run for one.
09:27He ran for that in that game.
09:28But Steph Diggs leads this team with five touchdowns in six games.
09:31Stallion?
09:32Defense Trey Amos.
09:34Like, that guy made a clear difference in that game.
09:37I think that he's probably entering.
09:39I mean, Amik Robertson has been awesome.
09:41I'm not going to say he's better than Amik Robertson at this point, but he immediately
09:44made an impact.
09:45He has a higher ceiling.
09:47Yes.
09:47Amik has this hyper-competitive drive.
09:50Amos has.
09:51Man, from that boot, though.
09:53Amos has all the tools to be a high-end corner one.
09:56Absolutely.
09:57And I think we saw that on display.
09:59So, he gets it on defense for me.
10:00And then on offense, I'm going to go Rashad White.
10:03Like, I thought Rashad White ran the ball pretty well overall.
10:06Like, I want to see more of that guy.
10:09And I think that overall, he's kind of a weapon that has been underutilized.
10:13I'd kind of look for him to be definitely a contributor over these next few weeks.
10:18Okay.
10:20B, you know what you like to say, especially when rookies have strong performances?
10:24Mm-hmm.
10:24Let me see it again.
10:26Yeah.
10:26Let me see it again.
10:27You know Trey Amos from the boot, too, now.
10:29Just so y'all know that.
10:32Defensively, let me see it again.
10:34Yeah.
10:34You were good against Philly.
10:35Let's see it again against L.A.
10:37There you go.
10:37Totally.
10:38Pook and Niku is a different beast.
10:39Kyle Robinson, Blake Corham, Matt Stafford.
10:42But Stafford's going to be, you know where he's going to be.
10:45I know where he needs to be.
10:47Where?
10:47On the ground.
10:48Yeah.
10:48But he's going to be in the pocket.
10:50He's not going to be scrambling around too much.
10:53He say he had that little back injury when the season started.
10:56Let's see.
10:57Overall, good win for Washington.
10:59They had to get a win.
11:00It's going to have to be better next week.
11:02It's going to have to be cleaner.
11:04Period.
11:04Period.
11:04Period.
11:04Period.
11:05Period.
11:05Period.
