00:00Let them know tomorrow that the bad guy's lost.
00:09Let them know.
00:15I want you to let them know.
00:18Let them know that we together, fighting for something bigger, we won.
00:24So Mike, enjoy your retirement.
00:30I know you got a house in Florida and two yachts.
00:35See, you chose hate and Michigan chose hope.
00:41May we never have to see the likes of you in this state again.
00:49JD.
00:53Habibi.
00:56There is this delicious irony.
01:00In the fact that you're constitutionally obligated to swear me in, in January.
01:12So you know what that means.
01:15Wolverine one, Buckeye zero.
01:25Donald, look, I know you, you struggled with my name.
01:29So after JD swears me in, in January, you can just go on and call me Senator.
01:38To the super PACs and special interests who tried to beat us, we are coming for your system of politics.
01:45To APAC, who spent 42 million dollars against us, thank you for giving me the opportunity to beat you twice.
01:56I don't want to say something here, see, they try to call you hateful if you believe that Palestinian kids
02:03should get to grow up in the land of their forefathers without being murdered by our tax dollars.
02:12If you believe in equal rights to peace, dignity and self-determination, that's not hate, it's love.
02:21Michiganders, we want our taxes spent here, for schools here, and health care here, and infrastructure here.
02:27We don't want our money sent to do apartheid or genocide or war.
02:35Michiganders believe in Michigan, and I believe in Michiganders.
02:39And I am so honored that Michiganders believed in me.
02:42See, you took a bet on the least likely of candidates.
02:44I'm not a politician. I'm a doctor with an 11-letter first name.
02:49They told us, they told us when I, when I, when I started this campaign, there was no way to
02:54beat the money.
02:55They told us that someone with a name and my story, a Muslim, was unelectable.
03:01Let alone in a statewide Senate race in Michigan.
03:06They told us that old-fashioned politics was dead.
03:09That traveling the state to have real conversations with real people in real places was a fool's errand.
03:14They told us that the establishment was too strong.
03:16That D.C. was going to dictate who won and who lost.
03:20That Washington and its special interests didn't want us.
03:22They told us that when all the votes had been counted on August 4th, and then again on November 3rd,
03:27it would have been time and money and energy wasted.
03:30Guess what?
03:32It's November 3rd.
03:35And the votes have been counted.
03:37And guess what we should have showed them?
03:39That a movement of the people, by the people, and for the people will ultimately mend.
03:44Michigan understands the solidarity.
