00:00Good news, though, being reported at a 49er camp coming out of that by Nick Bosa looks
00:06to be back this week against the Raiders.
00:09Christian McCaffrey also likely to be playing, even though that hamstring injury crossed
00:16up there in week seven.
00:18Yeah, so but they are hopeful that he'll be back on the field.
00:23Also, Robinson, I believe, Demarcus Robinson likely to play a wide receiver for the first
00:30time since week two when he injured that ankle against Miami.
00:34Evans is also making a ton of progress, according to Coach Shanahan.
00:40Debo Samuel seems to be the guy that's a little further off, but it's quite obvious that they're
00:46getting healthier here as we move on, which is really good news for the 49ers.
00:53Yeah, look, the 49ers had their week off.
00:55I did see the report about an hour ago that McCaffrey mispracticed, so hopefully that's
01:02nothing, especially for me, somebody who's heavily invested in McCaffrey, but it would
01:06clearly be a horrible sign if he didn't practice tomorrow, and he just had the entire week off
01:11too, but maybe this is just an extra day.
01:13San Francisco's still one of the two or three teams that right now you'd have penciled in
01:17for a possible Super Bowl pick.
01:18I'm a little skeptical of that.
01:19I still think that a team like Chicago, a team potentially like Seattle, can go in to
01:26San Francisco and beat San Francisco there.
01:28I don't think there's a dominant team there.
01:30I'd be a little bit more worried about the AFC.
01:33I understand Kansas City's lost two games in a row, but I still think Kansas City and
01:36Buffalo, I kind of put them above the NFC.
01:40I still think the third best team is in the NFC, and I think it is the Bears.
01:45It is, yeah, and I still think, though, the healthier they get, the better off it's going
01:51to be there for the 49ers.
01:54I also saw, if I'm not mistaken, the Rams have already shelled their prized offseason signing.
02:01Remember when they took the cornerback Jalen Watson away from Kansas City?
02:06Man, gave him all that money there, Greg, and they get out.
02:08Shoulder surgery, he's done for this season.
02:12So another, what this team looked like on paper prior to the season, Greg, and what we
02:18are getting right now is night and day, including Miles Garrett.
02:25But, I mean, they were supposed to, this was supposed to be the team of all teams, but
02:29now Jalen Watson, right shoulder surgery, missed the remainder of the season.
02:34Every time this team feels like takes two steps forward, it takes three steps back.
02:39Yeah, I don't, you know, Aaron, but I, you're counting on Aaron Donald off the couch at being
02:44retired for three years.
02:46But we, but we also have to acknowledge that if somehow, and the NFC doesn't look good, if
02:51somehow the Rams sneak in with a nine and eight or something like that, you know, Joe, there's
02:58a chance they are favored in the first round of the NFL playoffs without even playing a home
03:01game.
03:02You just have to look at it and say, that's the end game for them.
03:05Now, does that usually happen in the NFL where a team like when the Giants went to the
03:10Superbowl and won the Superbowl, you could get in with a game above 500 and go all the
03:13way.
03:13No, but this is the team that's really built for that.
03:15All they want to do is just get in and then assume that they can recapture some of the
03:20magic that they've had the last couple of years.
03:21I really don't buy that, but that will be the narrative as we head toward the end of the
03:26season.
03:26Cause if you look at the NFC, the NFC South is absolutely brutal.
03:30Well, the NFC West, they're literally right there.
03:32They have four wins and the NFC East, only one team is getting in.
03:36So the North is the best as we've talked about.
03:39And then the question is, do all four of those teams get in the, in, in the North or
03:44it does a team from, or two from the West get in as well.
03:47That'll be who the Rams will have to fight it out with probably some team from the North.
03:52Do the Rams need to trade for a receiver at some point here, Craig?
03:59I mean, is the on and off again, Puka Nakua can, what did they do?
04:04No, having Devante Adams was great.
04:07Cause you knew you had somebody reliable that in, in case Puka Nakua was hurt, but what
04:13did you can't just have six tight ends on the field and expect that to be able to beat
04:18anybody here.
04:19Do they need to go out and get a receiver here at some point?
04:22Look, look, I don't know who's available, but that would make sense for the, for Downs
04:26who asked to be traded.
04:27Yeah.
04:27That would make some sense for him to go there.
04:29Look, the Rams are an all in team right now.
04:32They're not a team that's going to sit back.
04:34They're, they're not a Seattle.
04:36They're not a Chicago.
04:37They're not a Minnesota.
04:38When, when, when Chicago's actually all in too, but the Ram shelf life to succeed is
04:44what?
04:44Another year or two Matthew Stafford, two years, not going to be in the league.
04:48Donald will not be in the league.
04:49Devante Adams, probably not going to be in the league.
04:52And I got news for you.
04:53The Rams don't even love their running backs.
04:55They've kind of used Blake Corum just as much as they've used Kyron Williams too.
04:58So, and by the way, in two years, is McVay even coaching the Rams anymore?
05:02I probably would say no.
05:03So I, I do think that this is kind of put up or shut up a year for them.
