Thursday was a historic day for the Lok Sabha. There are few occasions when the proceedings of either of the two houses of Parliament lasted till midnight. This happened in the Lok Sabha on Thursday. The proceedings of the house lasted till 12 o'clock at night and that too continued for 12 hours. During this time neither lunch nor dinner was broken. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla thanked the MPs for this historic work.
लोकसभा के लिए गुरुवार का दिन ऐतिहासिक रहा. ऐसे कम ही मौके होते हैं जब संसद के दोनों सदन में से किसी एक की भी कार्यवाही आधी रात तक चले. गुरुवार को लोकसभा में ऐसा हुआ. सदन की कार्यवाही रात 12 बजे तक और वो भी लगातार 12 घंटे तक चली. इस दौरान ना ही लंच और ना ही डिनर का ब्रेक हुआ. इस ऐतिहासिक काम के लिए लोकसभा स्पीकर ओम बिड़ला ने सांसदों का धन्यवाद किया.
