00:12 Ladies and gentlemen, Assalamu Alaikum.
00:14 I am Shahid Masroor, I am here with the program of Roshni Sab.
00:18 We discuss different topics.
00:21 We have discussed the benefits of the companions in the previous programs.
00:25 And when we discussed the benefits of the companions,
00:30 the status of the companions, their rank,
00:34 and the teachings of the Prophet (pbuh) to the Ummah,
00:39 the character of the companions, their importance, their significance,
00:44 we discussed all of that.
00:46 And it is very important for our lives that we,
00:50 in terms of the character of the companions, their character,
00:55 and in terms of the teachings that they acquired from the Prophet (pbuh)
01:00 and passed on to us, we should keep it in mind.
01:04 Because the history that we have,
01:07 the teachings and history of the Prophet (pbuh)
01:11 reached us through the companions.
01:14 And then it reached us through our Akabari.
01:17 This is the system. We will continue this.
01:20 Now we will talk about the character of the companions.
01:24 We will talk about the character of the companions.
01:28 And to discuss the character of the companions,
01:31 the respected personalities who are with us,
01:34 as usual, we have with us the respected Mufti Muhammad Suhail Azam Jadid.
01:39 You are a well-known personality for the viewers of QTV and ARY.
01:44 And with great detail,
01:47 you guide us on different topics in a very excellent manner.
01:52 In this program, and in Roshan Sab Kaliye,
01:55 you are also a respected teacher.
01:58 And in our programs, you explain to us
02:03 that you have taught at the University of Karachi
02:07 and other universities in an excellent manner.
02:13 So, we have with us the respected Professor Dr. Muhammad Ahmad Qadir.
02:19 Welcome.
02:21 - Assalamu Alaikum. How are you?
02:24 - Alhamdulillah.
02:26 Respected Mufti, in the last program,
02:29 we and you, MashaAllah, Dr.
02:32 had to go in that session
02:35 to discuss the character of the companions.
02:38 And we had a detailed discussion on that.
02:40 We had also requested our viewers
02:43 that if you have not seen this program,
02:46 you must go to the website of QTV and watch it.
02:49 Because it was a very important program.
02:51 And the discussion was also very important.
02:53 Now, we are talking about the character of the companions.
02:56 When we talk about the companions,
02:58 the love that the companions have for the Prophet (pbuh)
03:02 is what we see.
03:04 They say that the love for the Prophet (pbuh)
03:08 is a part of the perfection of faith.
03:11 And the love that the companions had for the Prophet (pbuh)
03:16 is what we see.
03:18 - In the name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
03:21 Peace and blessings be upon him and his family and companions.
03:25 Thank you very much, Shahid.
03:27 And, obviously, our previous topic of the last week
03:32 was a very interesting topic.
03:34 And now, we are going to talk about the character of the companions.
03:38 The character of the companions is described in the Quran.
03:41 - Yes.
03:42 - And it is described in different ways.
03:45 There is a verse in the Holy Quran.
03:49 "And those of the people who do not take from the world of Allah
03:54 as a measure of their love for Allah,
03:57 but those who believe are more in love with Allah."
04:02 There are some people who love idols as much as they should have loved Allah.
04:10 But, it is said that those who believe are more in love with Allah than anything else.
04:17 And remember that the love of the Prophet (pbuh)
04:21 is not only the love of the Prophet (pbuh)
04:24 but it is the love of Allah.
04:26 Why?
04:27 "Whoever obeys the Messenger, he has obeyed Allah."
04:34 Then, let's come to that verse of Surah Tawbah.
04:37 "And if your fathers, your sons, your brothers, your wives, your wives,
04:43 and the wealth you have spent, and the riches you have spent,
04:47 and the dwellings you have built,
04:50 are more dear to you than Allah and His Messenger."
04:53 Meaning your parents, your family, your siblings,
04:59 then it is said that your family, your tribe, your dome,
05:03 then your trade, then it is said your wealth,
05:06 then it is said your dwellings,
05:08 all these things are such that you love them
05:13 and Allah does not forbid you from loving them.
05:16 These are the things.
05:18 "And love for you is from Allah and His Messenger,
05:21 and struggle in the cause of Allah."
05:23 The love of all these things should not be more than the love of Allah
05:28 and His Messenger and the path of Allah.
05:32 Yes, yes.
05:33 Let's consider this as a criterion.
05:37 And if the love of these things is more than that,
05:41 and their love is overcome,
05:43 then "Fatarabbasu" then wait for the punishment of Allah.
05:47 This is the promise.
05:48 Yes, yes.
05:49 "Hatta ya'ti Allahu bi amri"
05:50 His command should come.
05:51 What does it mean?
05:52 That more than these things,
05:54 that is, more than the love of Allah and His Messenger and the struggle in the cause of Allah,
05:59 the love of someone else should not prevail.
06:03 If all secondary status is given priority,
06:06 on the basis of preference, then these loves will be given.
06:09 Great.
06:10 In the same way, Hazrat Umar (ra)
06:12 is still the era of the first generation of Islam,
06:14 so he asked, "O Umar, with whom do you love the most?"
06:19 They were true people.
06:21 It was the era of the first generation of Islam.
06:23 So he said, "O Messenger of Allah, leaving your life,
06:25 leaving yourself, with whom do you love the most?"
06:28 So the famous hadith that the Master (pbuh) said,
06:31 "La yu'minu ahadukum hatta akuna ahabba ilaihi
06:35 miwwalidi wawaladi wal nasi ajma'een"
06:38 The address was from Umar, but in reality it was from all the people,
06:44 from the whole Ummah.
06:45 He said, "Your faith cannot be complete until you love your parents,
06:52 your family, your children, more than all the people,
06:58 your faith cannot be complete."
07:00 Umar (ra) started calling, "O Messenger of Allah,
07:04 if you love more than all the people, then you will be loved."
07:08 And then he did it.
07:10 I would say, "Do not consider love to be so ordinary.
07:14 The love of Muhammad is the first condition of the religion of truth.
07:18 If it is incomplete, then everything is incomplete.
07:21 The love of Muhammad is the proof of being free,
07:24 of being in the presence of Allah, in the unity of Allah."
07:28 If we look at the translation of the word "Muhabbat",
07:32 it means that the seed of love,
07:35 the seed that falls in the abyss,
07:39 and that it endures all the difficulties and continues to do its work.
07:44 So he said, "When a lover loves,
07:47 then the one with whom he loves,
07:49 he endures everything, he goes through all the trials,
07:53 but he does not come out of the love of his beloved."
07:56 And then, "May the beloved be the beloved of the Lord of the worlds."
07:59 "May the beloved be the beloved of the Lord of the worlds."
08:02 When this love increases,
08:04 when there is a sense of superiority in it,
08:06 then it is called love.
08:08 So the companions are those minarets of light
08:12 who are the leaders of the entire Ummah in the love of the Prophet.
08:18 And my Siddique Akbar is the one who loves,
08:24 he is the true lover who is the leader of the entire Ummah in the love of the Prophet.
08:32 And I will say this here,
08:34 these are the words of love.
08:36 Look at Usman-e-Ghani (r)
08:39 that when he went to Mecca in the time of Suleyman the Magnificent,
08:43 the enemies said that you should circumambulate, you have permission.
08:47 He said, "It is not possible that my Prophet is not with us,
08:51 and we circumambulate, how can this be possible?"
08:54 In the same way, it was the matter of the transformation of the Qibla.
08:57 "Mayyattabi'u al-wasoola mimmiyin qalebu ala qibaihi."
09:00 Who follows the Messenger? Who goes back?
09:03 So there the companions said that our beloved Prophet (pbuh) said,
09:07 he spread the Umar.
09:09 As soon as he spread the Umar, all the companions spread the Umar with him.
09:13 This is the case in every matter,
09:16 the love of the Prophet is the foremost.
09:18 Whether you look at Sayyiduna Siddique Akbar,
09:21 or Umar-e-Farooq-e-Azam (r),
09:24 or Moula Ali, or Usman-e-Ghani,
09:27 Allah and Akbar, all the companions are in love and affection for each other.
09:32 Only then does faith become perfect,
09:34 only then does faith attain perfection.
09:36 This is our question.
09:37 Respected Doctor, I would like to know,
09:40 it is said that the Prophet is being talked about love,
09:43 that whoever loves someone, he also obeys him.
09:46 And it is said about the companions,
09:49 so please explain the obedience of the Prophet,
09:52 i.e. the obedience of the companions,
09:54 how did he obey?
09:56 I seek refuge with Allah from the accursed Satan,
09:58 In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Ever Merciful.
10:01 The Master of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him,
10:04 is forever and ever, upon his Beloved, the best of all creation.
10:07 O my Lord, choose for us our objectives,
10:10 and forgive us our sins, O Most Merciful.
10:13 The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him,
10:17 was being mentioned with such love and devotion,
10:21 by our brother, Ahmadiyya,
10:24 and the references he gave to the verses of the Holy Quran,
10:28 and the references he gave to the Hadith,
10:30 and the references he gave to the events,
10:32 he gave them clearly.
10:34 And you have also said many things in your speeches.
10:37 You should combine them.
10:41 So, the beginning and the end of that question,
10:48 are connected to each other.
10:51 Love is a perspective,
10:55 and to make it a part of life is an action,
10:59 which is called in English, theory and practice.
11:02 Now, it is about the Holy Quran, the Hadith,
11:08 "In kuntum tuhibbun Allah, fattehbihunee yuhbibkumullah"
11:12 Now, if the condition is that,
11:15 the life of the Mustafa Kareem, his actions, his way of thinking,
11:19 his way of reasoning, his way of speaking,
11:22 and his way of connection with society,
11:24 and the part of the hereafter,
11:26 then you will become an example of "Udkhulu Fisilme Kafa",
11:29 otherwise, nothing will happen.
11:31 Absolutely right.
11:32 And most of the time,
11:34 "Your heart is like this, what will you get by praying?"
11:37 So, on the basis of this,
11:39 we have organized ourselves in today's society,
11:42 that we have ignored the way of speaking of the companions,
11:47 or the way of interaction of the companions.
11:50 The Holy Prophet (pbuh) should love his companions,
11:54 and we should sit and criticize the companions?
11:57 How is this possible?
11:59 So, this is a contradiction.
12:01 And then, who should be sitting in whose gathering?
12:04 So, decide, that "Miqyas",
12:07 that is, the life's action,
12:10 on the basis of which you will decide,
12:13 what should be that decision?
12:15 Is your own interpretation, or your own interpretation,
12:19 that important?
12:21 Or, is the interpretation of "Radhiya Allahu Anhum Wa Radhu Anhum" important?
12:25 And, is the confirmation of the Holy Prophet (pbuh) important?
12:28 Or, is the command of the Holy Prophet (pbuh) that,
12:30 "Whoever will follow him, will be guided"?
12:32 So, decide, who?
12:34 Actually, you have said it.
12:36 Because the Quran is saying it.
12:38 The Holy Prophet (pbuh) has said it,
12:40 not from his own side.
12:42 "Wa Ma Yawma Kuhil Hawa In Huwa Illa Wahi"
12:44 We hear this everyday, and we read it too.
12:46 But, we have seen,
12:48 that when the companions used to come to the Holy Prophet's (pbuh) garden,
12:53 what was their style of conversation?
12:55 And, what was the way of asking?
12:57 And, what was the way of asking?
12:59 When the Holy Prophet (pbuh) used to ask,
13:01 he did not say this.
13:03 Although, there were many great scholars,
13:05 great scholars of his time.
13:07 And, the people of that time had a lot of knowledge.
13:09 They had a lot of brains.
13:11 I go to a Waqfah, and then I talk about these great personalities.
13:13 I am present.
13:15 It is a very beautiful conversation.
13:17 And, we will listen to it, and you will listen to it too.
13:19 I am present.
13:21 Dear viewers, we are talking about "Roshni Sab"
13:23 and "Roshni Sab" for all,
13:25 and "Sirat-e-Sahaba" for all.
13:27 When we went to the Waqfah,
13:29 those great personalities,
13:31 who themselves were great,
13:33 and there were great scholars and mubalighs,
13:35 among the companions,
13:37 they were ready to sacrifice their lives
13:39 for the Holy Prophet's (pbuh) words.
13:41 When the Holy Prophet (pbuh) used to ask questions,
13:43 the Holy Prophet (pbuh) knew everything.
13:45 Because, when Allah (swt) gave Adam the knowledge,
13:47 "Wa Allama Adam al-Asmaa kullaha"
13:49 Here, the Holy Prophet (pbuh)
13:51 was sent as his beloved,
13:53 and he told everything.
13:55 The matter is not this.
13:57 If he had said something,
13:59 if he had addressed that society,
14:01 what would have been the response from that society?
14:03 The response from that society would have been,
14:05 "Wa Allahu wa Rasoolu A'lam"
14:07 This is the way of love,
14:09 the way of etiquette, the way of obedience,
14:11 and the way of "Ittaba".
14:13 And a little voice was raised,
14:15 and the verse was revealed,
14:17 "La Tarfa wa Aswatakum Fawqa Sati Nabi"
14:19 This is a very common thing.
14:21 So, three companions are seen in this.
14:23 I will leave by giving a hint.
14:25 When they came to know that
14:27 their voice was raised,
14:29 one of them said, "I would have spoken to the Holy Prophet (pbuh)
14:31 I would have whispered so much
14:33 that the voice would have reached only to the Holy Prophet (pbuh)
14:35 and the other said,
14:37 "My voice is raised, very much,
14:39 he has restrained himself at home,
14:41 may he be sacrificed for his actions."
14:43 And the third one said, "He has stopped speaking."
14:45 Such a little conversation.
14:47 This is what
14:49 Sahib-e-Seerat Ibn-e-Ishaq
14:51 has described in great detail.
14:53 Ibn-e-Hisham has written on this.
14:55 All the authors of Maghazi,
14:57 or the authors of Hadith and Seerah,
14:59 have written on this.
15:01 Now, the point is that
15:03 the request of the Holy Prophet (pbuh)
15:05 in terms of literature,
15:07 in terms of writing,
15:09 the request of the Holy Prophet (pbuh)
15:11 is a comprehensive request.
15:13 Because the way you see the Holy Prophet (pbuh)
15:15 "Nur-e-Nuzal-Razakum Kajakum Min-Allahi
15:17 Nurum-e-Kitab-e-Mubi'in"
15:19 So, this is an open book.
15:21 And the state of Jamia is that
15:23 the way the Holy Prophet (pbuh)
15:25 stood up, he was able to breathe.
15:27 And the way he stood up,
15:29 even the stones were able to breathe.
15:31 And if you put your breath in,
15:33 even the water becomes sweet,
15:35 and you go towards miracles.
15:37 And if you go towards the truth,
15:39 even the pebbles will be your witness.
15:41 All these things are there.
15:43 Someone asked
15:45 Hazrat Omar (ra)
15:47 that
15:49 "Omar,
15:51 the way you wear
15:53 the leather shoes,
15:55 it is a matter of obedience,
15:57 how do you follow in life?
15:59 Nowadays people follow
16:01 the people who are lost.
16:03 The people who are lost,
16:05 the people of open misguidance.
16:07 He said that
16:09 the way you wear the leather shoes,
16:11 and in Arabic,
16:13 it is said that it is colored,
16:15 and there are no hair on it,
16:17 and the way you wear the leather shoes,
16:19 I started wearing it from that day.
16:21 Now a tailor came
16:23 and invited the Holy Prophet (pbuh)
16:25 and said that "O Prophet,
16:27 come here,
16:29 and this is your invitation.
16:31 Now what is there in the invitation?
16:33 I am making it short,
16:35 I am enjoying the conversation
16:37 and the way you are talking.
16:39 You know that I was lost in the conversation.
16:41 So now the invitation was made,
16:43 there was salty meat,
16:45 and after putting the pumpkin,
16:47 the Holy Prophet (pbuh)
16:49 The pumpkin is called the bottle gourd.
16:51 So he was eating
16:53 from the sides of the pot.
16:55 So now,
16:57 seeing this situation,
16:59 the companions
17:01 made the pumpkin
17:03 a part of their life,
17:05 a part of their food.
17:07 And today's science has proved
17:09 that the bottle gourd
17:11 which you call the bottle gourd,
17:13 if you ignore it,
17:15 if you read its basics,
17:17 you will realize
17:19 how many things are there in it.
17:21 Sir, do patients get food?
17:23 Do you know?
17:25 In America and Canada,
17:27 people say that 80% of diseases
17:29 can be cured with boiled water.
17:31 And when doctors did research on it,
17:33 they said that if you eat it
17:35 for a week,
17:37 then all the diseases of your face
17:39 and stomach and brain
17:41 will be cured.
17:43 So, it is a science.
17:45 Now, when this incident,
17:47 this Hadith, this incident,
17:49 this reference was
17:51 narrated by Qazi Imam Yusuf (r.a),
17:53 then there was
17:55 a person sitting there.
17:57 He said,
17:59 "I don't like the pumpkin."
18:01 May Allah forgive me.
18:03 Qazi Yusuf
18:05 took out his sword,
18:07 and after taking it out,
18:09 he became a apostate.
18:11 Because the one whom the Prophet
18:13 loves and the Prophet
18:15 makes him a part of his life,
18:17 and you are telling him,
18:19 then until you repent,
18:21 this sword will not go in your hand.
18:23 He repented and apologized.
18:25 So, what is the matter?
18:27 If you call the curd of Madinah sour,
18:29 then Imam Malik says that
18:31 there is a punishment for this.
18:33 So, the life of the Prophet (pbuh)
18:35 is also a sin.
18:37 So, what is he saying?
18:39 I will summarize all these matters
18:41 by coming to obedience.
18:43 (Arabic)
18:45 Whatever the Prophet (pbuh)
18:47 has given you,
18:49 what is he giving?
18:51 How to talk,
18:53 how to walk,
18:55 how to pray,
18:57 the charity and charity I do,
18:59 and then the biggest thing is,
19:01 he gave Iman,
19:03 he made Allah know,
19:05 he brought gifts from the Prophet,
19:07 and when he came to the earth,
19:09 he sat with the people of the earth
19:11 in such a way that it was not felt
19:13 that where is Muhammad and where are the
19:15 slaves of Muhammad?
19:17 And when all these matters happened,
19:19 then Mahmud and Ayaat stood in one row.
19:21 There was no one and no one.
19:23 So, Allah says that
19:25 we have one like you,
19:27 but who is like you?
19:29 But it does not mean that you
19:31 are like yourself.
19:33 You feel like you are your own.
19:35 Allah made you like this,
19:37 and made Yusuf like you.
19:39 Subhanallah.
19:41 So, the translation of one like us,
19:43 sometimes,
19:45 is because of love and affection.
19:47 Allah gave an example and explained
19:49 that if the Prophet (pbuh) says
19:51 that I am your brother,
19:53 it does not mean that if you
19:55 say to a king or a minister that
19:57 you are my brother,
19:59 it does not mean that you
20:01 are my brother.
20:03 Why?
20:05 Because
20:07 if you do a little bit of
20:09 impoliteness,
20:11 your deeds will be destroyed
20:13 and you will not even know.
20:15 Therefore, the demand of politeness
20:17 is that if we go from the
20:19 literal translation to the
20:21 real stages,
20:23 then we will know how
20:25 the spirit and the soul
20:27 will call out to the Prophet
20:29 and he will be saved.
20:31 And when the time came for
20:33 the death of Hazrat Bilal,
20:35 his wife said,
20:37 "Wah Sarata"
20:39 which is a very painful thing.
20:41 He said, "No,
20:43 this is a time of happiness
20:45 that I will meet Muhammad
20:47 and my companions."
20:49 This is the grace of Qibla.
20:51 I would like to thank his father,
20:53 who is such a true lover of the Prophet.
20:55 May Allah give him a long life.
20:57 You must know that I am very
20:59 grateful to him.
21:01 Whenever I have spoken to him,
21:03 I have met his father
21:05 whenever I have met his father
21:07 and I have seen the light
21:09 and the manifestation of
21:11 the knowledge and the knowledge
21:13 of the knowledge.
21:15 You will realize that
21:17 the children of the Prophet
21:19 are also so beautiful
21:21 and the conversation is also
21:23 so good.
21:25 And you are also a Hufaaz
21:27 and you are also teaching
21:29 your son the Quran.
21:31 I would like to say this to my
21:33 brothers and sisters,
21:35 that the way the father of
21:37 Qibla has trained Mufti Sahib,
21:39 you are also training your children.
21:41 We are also trying to do something.
21:43 I would like to request that
21:45 if you love the Prophet,
21:47 then make your children
21:49 the love of the Prophet.
21:51 Make them Hufaaz, make them Ulema.
21:53 Mashallah.
21:55 Now this is a matter of love.
21:57 This Sunnah is also the love
21:59 of the Prophet.
22:01 We say that we will do
22:03 what the Prophet has forbidden.
22:05 And there was a description of
22:07 a verse in the Quran
22:09 that Allah has said that
22:11 you can take whatever the
22:13 Prophet has forbidden.
22:15 The companions have proved
22:17 that the Prophet's choice
22:19 is the choice of the companions.
22:21 They have also liked it.
22:23 Explain this to us further.
22:25 Dr. Sahib has beautifully
22:27 explained the love of the
22:29 Prophet in relation to the
22:31 companions.
22:33 Mashallah.
22:35 I have said something,
22:37 that the companions are the
22:39 leaders of the whole Ummah
22:41 in the love of the Prophet.
22:43 Absolutely.
22:45 The reason for this is that
22:47 when the need of life was there,
22:49 the companions gave their lives.
22:51 Hazrat Habib (R.A)
22:53 was cutting the body of
22:55 Musaylimah Qazzaab.
22:57 He was cutting pieces
22:59 and he was saying
23:01 La ilaha illallah Muhammad Rasool Allah.
23:03 He was mentioning the Prophet
23:05 (PBUH)
23:07 that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.
23:09 Similarly, Khubab bin Irs
23:11 (R.A)
23:13 was extremely
23:15 tortured.
23:17 He was being tortured
23:19 on his back
23:21 in the scorching afternoon
23:23 and on the burning ash.
23:25 His back was burnt
23:27 and black.
23:29 Ameer ul Mumineen
23:31 Farooq-e-Azam (R.A)
23:33 cried when he saw this.
23:35 This was the case of the companions.
23:37 Hazrat Bilal-e-Aqib?
23:39 Hazrat Ammara.
23:41 He was extremely injured
23:43 during the battle.
23:45 He was almost martyred.
23:47 The narrator says that
23:49 Hazrat Bilal-e-Aqib felt the
23:51 Prophet's presence.
23:53 Hazrat Ammara reached the
23:55 feet of the Prophet.
23:57 He asked, "What is your last wish?"
23:59 The Prophet replied, "O Messenger of Allah,
24:01 I had only one wish.
24:03 I wish to die and
24:05 reach the feet of the Prophet."
24:07 Today, his wish is being fulfilled.
24:09 Hazrat Hamzallah (R.A)
24:11 was taken to the wedding night.
24:13 What happened next?
24:15 The Prophet said, "It seems
24:17 that Hamzallah did not bathe."
24:19 The Prophet asked, "What is the reason?"
24:21 The Prophet said, "I see that the angels
24:23 are bathing him."
24:25 He sacrificed his life.
24:27 Similarly, it is the turn of wealth,
24:29 of the nation,
24:31 of the children.
24:33 Everything was decided to be
24:35 sacrificed in the court of
24:37 the Prophet of Allah.
24:39 Whenever the time of sacrifice came,
24:41 the Prophet offered everything.
24:43 Did you see the Prophet
24:45 (R.A)
24:47 when the Prophet (S.A.W)
24:49 went to Medina?
24:51 Everyone wished
24:53 to go to Medina.
24:55 The Prophet went to Medina.
24:57 The enemies came.
24:59 The Prophet took out his sword and
25:01 said, "If you kill me, I will kill you.
25:03 As long as I have arrows in my
25:05 bow, I will not leave you.
25:07 It is better to reconcile.
25:09 Let me go to my Prophet."
25:11 SubhanAllah.
25:13 Let's go to a Waqf.
25:15 We will discuss this topic later.
25:17 Please stay with us.
25:19 We will be back.
25:21 For today's topic,
25:23 we have with us
25:25 the Seerat-e-Sahaba,
25:27 Rizwan-ul-Ajmein.
25:29 We have with us
25:31 the Mufti Muhammad Suhail Azamjaddi
25:33 and the respected
25:35 Dr. Prof. Muhammad Ahmad Qadri.
25:37 You have explained
25:39 the topic of
25:41 the Prophet's (S.A.W)
25:43 love and obedience
25:45 to him in a beautiful way.
25:47 We were just discussing
25:49 the topic of liking.
25:51 You were explaining how to
25:53 adopt the Prophet's (S.A.W)
25:55 liking and disliking.
25:57 There is a verse in the Holy Quran
25:59 "If you love Allah, then follow me.
26:01 Allah will love you and forgive you your sins."
26:03 If you follow the Messenger of Allah,
26:05 if you love Allah,
26:07 then follow my Beloved.
26:09 If you follow my Beloved,
26:11 he will love you.
26:13 In the Holy Quran,
26:15 "Whoever obeys the Messenger of Allah,
26:17 obeys Allah."
26:19 Obedience to the Messenger of Allah
26:21 is to obey the command
26:23 and to stop from what is forbidden.
26:25 Obedience is to follow
26:27 the actions of the Beloved.
26:29 What is the matter?
26:31 What does the Beloved like?
26:33 Whoever likes,
26:35 do not wait for the command,
26:37 but obey it.
26:39 Whoever dislikes,
26:41 do not wait for the command,
26:43 but stay away from it.
26:45 Allah has commanded
26:47 obedience to the Messenger of Allah.
26:49 But He has specifically said
26:51 that if you want to be my beloved,
26:53 then follow my Beloved.
26:55 So, follow the liking of the Beloved.
26:57 Follow his actions.
26:59 Stay away from the disliking.
27:01 He will love you and forgive you.
27:03 Now, I will briefly say
27:05 that a person said
27:07 in front of Hazrat Farooq Azam
27:09 that I do not like Qaddu.
27:11 You have gone mad.
27:13 How did you say that my Mustafa likes?
27:15 Similarly, you see
27:17 that loving the Ahl-e-Bayt,
27:19 my Beloved
27:21 liked it.
27:23 So, Abu Bakr Siddiq (R)
27:25 says that
27:27 I love my beloved
27:29 more than spending on my own.
27:31 I prefer to spend
27:33 on the family of my Prophet (pbuh)
27:35 Wow!
27:37 So, this is the companions
27:39 liking and disliking
27:41 the Prophet (pbuh)
27:43 I will say the last thing
27:45 that a person
27:47 was wearing a gold ring
27:49 so the Prophet (pbuh)
27:51 said that he is a non-believer
27:53 and he took it off.
27:55 When my master came,
27:57 he said that
27:59 I do not have the courage
28:01 to take away
28:03 the thing that my Prophet (pbuh)
28:05 disliked.
28:07 Sir, we were talking about
28:09 love with Ahl-e-Bayt.
28:11 Please give some examples
28:13 of the love
28:15 that the companions
28:17 expressed with the family
28:19 of the Prophet (pbuh)
28:21 Mufti Sahib has given
28:23 such beautiful examples
28:25 that
28:27 love Allah
28:29 He has given you many blessings
28:31 then
28:33 for the sake of Allah, love me
28:35 and for the sake of my love
28:37 love my Ahl-e-Bayt.
28:39 So, it is clear
28:41 that if you want the love
28:43 of Allah's Prophet (pbuh)
28:45 then the basis is
28:47 that you have to love
28:49 Ahl-e-Bayt.
28:51 After this, there is an incident
28:53 that
28:55 Hazrat Uqba bin Harith
28:57 narrates that
28:59 I saw that in the streets of Madinah
29:01 there is a narration that
29:03 both the princes,
29:05 Hassan and Imam Hassan
29:07 are on the shoulders of
29:09 Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq
29:11 and you are passing through the streets
29:13 of Madinah.
29:15 The people who saw it
29:17 asked what is this?
29:19 He said that
29:21 if you want to make the Prophet (pbuh) happy
29:23 then love Ahl-e-Bayt.
29:25 Love them.
29:27 Then there is another incident
29:29 that I will just point out
29:31 that
29:33 the companions
29:35 in Ajmain
29:37 there is a very famous person
29:39 Zaid bin Sabit (r.a)
29:41 He was an old man
29:43 He was brought on a horse
29:45 for a complete conversation
29:47 and he started sitting on it
29:49 and when he was sitting on it
29:51 he moved his foot
29:53 from the horse
29:55 and
29:57 Hazrat Abdullah bin Nibas (r.a)
29:59 moved his foot
30:01 from the horse
30:03 and as soon as he moved his foot
30:05 Hazrat Zaid (r.a)
30:07 immediately said
30:09 what are you doing?
30:11 He said that we do this with the scholars
30:13 You are a scholar
30:15 and you are the companion of the Prophet (pbuh)
30:17 So immediately
30:19 Hazrat Abdullah
30:21 bin Abbas (r.a)
30:23 Hazrat Zaid (r.a)
30:25 bowed down
30:27 and kissed his hand
30:29 He is a companion
30:31 He is a great companion
30:33 He kissed his hand
30:35 He is the son of Hazrat Abbas
30:37 He said what are you doing?
30:39 He said I am doing what my Prophet (pbuh)
30:41 has commanded me to do
30:43 to love Ahl-e-Bayt
30:45 I am expressing my love
30:47 Why? Because the love of Ahl-e-Bayt
30:49 is the source of intercession in the hereafter
30:51 What a great thing
30:53 Sir, we talked about obedience
30:55 we talked about love
30:57 we talked about love
30:59 we even talked about love
31:01 I have one minute, just tell me
31:03 what is the way of respect
31:05 and respect of the Prophet (pbuh)
31:07 The thing is
31:09 Urwa bin Masood
31:11 who did not believe till then
31:13 and later on he believed
31:15 He said
31:17 I have gone to many kings
31:19 I have gone to many kings
31:21 I have gone to Shahan-e-Iran
31:23 I have gone to Shahan-e-Rom
31:25 I have gone to many kings
31:27 He was an ambassador
31:29 He said by the grace of Allah
31:31 I have never seen
31:33 any of the companions
31:35 respecting their kings
31:37 as much as
31:39 the respect of the companions
31:41 of the Prophet (pbuh)
31:43 The respect of the companions
31:45 of the Prophet (pbuh)
31:47 The non-Muslims
31:49 are the witness
31:51 of the Muslims
31:53 The respect of the Prophet (pbuh)
31:55 is clear because
31:57 once
31:59 Imam Hassan came to
32:01 the meeting of the
32:03 Great Imam of Faro
32:05 He found out that
32:07 he was searching in the streets of Madina
32:09 He said that you were in the meeting
32:11 He took off his imam
32:13 and said that
32:15 Umar (ra) said that
32:17 the hair on my head
32:19 is also your charity
32:21 Don't do this again
32:23 Thank you very much
32:25 Respected Mufti Muhammad Zia Ahmadzadi
32:27 Respected Doctor and Professor
32:29 Muhammad Ahmad Qadri
32:31 If the discussion is beautiful
32:33 I don't have time for words
32:35 But I know it very well
32:37 that the discussion of good people
32:39 was very beautiful
32:41 May Allah bless us with
32:43 the blessings of Allah
32:45 Remember me in your prayers
32:47 Allah Hafiz
