00:09With the discovery and expose of shady Chinese personalities using fake documents for their
00:14visa applications last month, the Philippine government has decided to toughen up its immigration
00:19laws to stem the tide of shady characters of predominantly Chinese origin and descent
00:24entering the country.
00:26Chinese nationals seeking entry to the country on a non-immigrant or temporary visa should
00:31submit their Chinese Social Insurance Certificate to gain immigration nod and access into the
00:36country the Department of Foreign Affairs announced earlier today.
00:40The certificate must be registered for at least six months at the time of the visa application
00:45submission to be deemed valid.
00:47Chinese nationals on student visas and retirees 56 years of age and over are exempt from this
00:54new immigration requirement.
00:56The DFA hinted on this added immigration requirement on the first week of May after having found
01:01out a slew of fake documents submitted by Chinese nationals applying for visas into
01:06the country.

01:15seven of the most economically and militarily developed nations on the planet.
