00:00So, of course, Natty Nightheart, she is a legend, her family, legendary family in the business, in the wrestling business, and it's so great to meet you, like I said, I've had a great relationship with the WWE for so many years, and you guys have been so good to me, and the radio station, so thanks for being here, and it's the first time meeting you, so I gotta say, I was a little taken aback,
00:26because, you know, look, you do look pretty, you know, you look tough, you know, even though you're dressed up, you got Louis Vuitton stuff, and you're very much a lady, I still, I can see in your eyes, there's a little, you got a mean streak.
00:45I do, I actually think all women do, I really am very sure of that, it's funny, because, you know, we joke about it, but like, you know, in WWE, we have the roles of the good girl, or the bad girl, you know, bad guy, good guy, but I think all women have it in them to have a little heel side to them, but it's fun, like, I think, I just love performing, and I love being physical, and it's like, I can take out the stress of the day on my opponents.
01:12Oh, yeah. So is this always in the cards for you, like, obviously, being who you are, and who your dad was, one of the greats, and I was such a huge fan of the Hart Foundation, growing up, so to know that, you know, your dad, such a, you know, I was such a big fan of his, was such a huge fan of his, and Bret the Hitman Hart, and being from that family, was this always in the cards for you, or were you thinking about something else?
01:40I never really thought of any other career direction, other than, like, WWE. I feel like, because I've always been into, like, the theatrics, and drama, and, you know, with my family being a part of WWE for so long, and, like, for me, there's a theatrical side to it, and, like, an athletic side to it, and I love, I've always loved, you know, being involved in sports, even if I wasn't the world's greatest athlete, I, you know,
02:07I enjoyed amateur wrestling, and jiu-jitsu, and volleyball, and softball, and, like, it's, I was in dance, and gymnastics, and it just was the right fit, and so once I started training with my family in the dungeon, I was 18.
02:21The very first day I started training, I was hooked.
02:23Wow.
02:24It just, it's so much fun. I can't imagine, I don't even know what I'd be capable of doing. I'm sure I could do a lot, but, like, I love what I do, and it's opened up the doors to so many other things, and I'm just so lucky.
02:36Like, I'm like, I can't imagine, for me, my type of personality. I just can't be behind a desk.
02:42You know, and WWE allows me that outlet to perform and to be, you know, a vibrant, larger-than-life personality when you step through that curtain, but also even being on Total Divas, the reality show, been on that show for six seasons where we just wrapped season nine.
02:58Being on that show, it's been nice because I've been able, you've been able to see the other side of us, you know, the softer side, the more behind-the-scenes side, not just the wrestling.
03:08It's surprising, too, when you do, you know, obviously, we know, you know, wrestling, you guys are putting on a show, you guys are performing, and then, but when you do watch the Divas show, you, you know, I've been getting into the, you know, the Miz show, too, lately.
03:25Yeah.
03:25And it is, like, interesting to see, I think everybody likes to see, like, quote-unquote, how this sausage is made.
03:33Yeah.
03:34You know what I mean? They want to see the, you know, how.
03:36We peel back the curtain.
03:37Yes.
03:38And then it's, like, it's very fascinating.
03:40It's a very unique, very, very unique career.
03:44And there's just nothing, I feel like in working in WWE, there's just nothing I can't do.
03:49And I love that feeling of being empowered.
03:51It's, like, it sounds sometimes kind of cheesy when we say, oh, we're really empowered women, but really, we are.
03:57Like, we can, I feel like I can do anything.
03:59I can, I can be anything I want to be.
04:01I can, I just, you just do it.
04:04And WWE, you know, it's a live show.
04:05Monday Night Raw, tonight at the Amelie Arena, you know, big show, Raw reunion, over 40 legends are coming to join the Raw superstars of today.
04:13And it's huge, but it's all live.
04:15So you can't, there's only one take.
04:17Right.
04:17You know, so it's intense.
04:19It's really fun.
04:20It's really intense.
04:21And it's all, like, it's all happening so fast.
04:24We're in, we travel upwards of 300 days a year.
04:27We're in over 180 countries around the world.
04:30You know, we're in a different city, state, country, continent, daily.
04:33No day is ever the same.
04:34You're just constantly stimulated.
04:35And if it's not planes, trains, and automobiles, it's speaking to kids at schools about why it's important to not bully each other and why it's important to read.
04:44And, you know, I was just in Saudi Arabia last month.
04:48And what an experience that was.
04:50We went to a hospital and we visited kids that were terminally ill.
04:53And it's just, it really humbles you and connects you to the world.
04:58It's just like nothing, I can't even describe it, but it's just really cool.
05:03Natty Neidhart, legendary family.
05:06Not only the daughter of the late, great Jim the Anvil Neidhart, but your father is a heart.
05:15Your father is Bruce Hart.
05:17Your uncles, Uncle Brett, the hitman Hart, Owen Hart.
05:24This is a family business all the way back to Stu Hart, which was your, was he your grandfather?
05:31Yep.
05:32My mom had eight brothers and they were all involved in wrestling.
05:35My grandfather had a wrestling promotion, Stampede Wrestling, which was part of the territories in Western Canada.
05:41A very successful wrestling company that produced so many incredible superstars of, you know, you think about the British Bulldogs and the Hart Foundation and Owen Hart.
05:54And, you know, they all came from Stampede Wrestling and, and like, it's just, it's in our blood.
05:59My grandfather, Stu Hart, is a Hall of Famer.
06:02My uncles, Brett Hart, is a two-time WWE Hall of Famer.
06:08My dad was just put in the Hall of Fame this past year, which I know he would have been so thrilled with.
06:14And, um, it's, it's just so cool because we just have this really, you know, like, really awesome family.
06:20And some people were like, you know, Natalia, you come from wrestling royalty.
06:23But, like, I never take it for granted what, what a cool family I have.
06:28They're a little crazy at times.
06:30Like, don't get me started on having to handle them all for, you know, what we were, we had everybody come in for WrestleMania this past year
06:36because my dad and Brett were getting inducted and it was just, like, extremely overwhelming.
06:40I was like, I don't want kids ever.
06:42But they're, I have a really great family and they're just, you know, they're very supportive and loving and, like, we just, it's a family business.
06:48It's very much like the McMahons.
06:50It's a family business.
06:52It's what we do.
06:52It's what we love.
06:53It's what, it's who we are.
06:55Tell me about tonight.
06:57Amelie Arena, Monday Night Raw.
06:58This is the first time that you guys have been here in almost two years.
07:03I know, I know.
07:04And this is the, you know, Wrestling City, USA.
07:08And then last, a couple weeks ago, I started hearing about the legends and who was going to be here one after another.
07:16I'm like, this show is going to be unbelievable.
07:20It's going to be, I mean, it's going to be insane.
07:22It's like, I'm excited, but I'm also a little anxious because I want to be able to see all of them and talk to them.
07:27And when I heard that Stone Cold Steve Austin is going to be there, Mick Foley is going to be there, Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Ric Flair.
07:36I mean, Ric Flair, even if you don't watch wrestling or WWE, everybody knows who Ric Flair is, Hulk Hogan.
07:44You know, and for me, like, a lot of these guys, a lot of these legends were really close friends with my dad.
07:49And I love hearing them share stories about my dad.
07:51And, you know, it's like, it's just so, it's going to be so special.
07:54And you never know what's going to happen.
07:56I mean, you don't know what's going to happen when you get a DX reunion or you get a, you know, and it's like I was talking to Devon Dudley.
08:05He's going to be on the show.
08:07You know, so it's like, it's just like, we have super, women.
08:12Alundra Blaze, WWE Hall of Famer, she's going to be on the show.
08:15Eve Torres, former three-time Divas Champion, she's going to be on the show.
08:19So, Melina, five-time Women's Champion, hasn't been back to WWE, and tonight is the night, her first night back to WWE.
08:26At any given, and what's really cool right now is we have the 24-7 Championship.
08:30So, Kelly Kelly's going to be there tonight.
08:33You never know what could happen.
08:35You know what I mean?
08:35Like, you've got these girls and guys and legends and Raw superstars.
08:40We're going to have NXT talent backstage.
08:42And, you know, it's funny because R-Truth is in this very heated feud with Drake Maverick for this 24-7 Championship.
08:48But anyone, at any given time, get a referee and it can happen.
08:53It's exciting.
08:54I want to see a legend win it.
08:55Like, you know, I mean, D-Von Dudley could win it tonight.

09:26Is there something that you, like a hobby that you have that's really strange?
09:30Or is there something about you that a lot of people don't know?
09:34Well, most people don't know that I'm a terrible cook.
09:37I actually don't know how to use an oven.
09:40I don't cook.
09:43I don't know how to cook.
09:44I currently am storing action figures in my stove.
09:47WWE, Mattel, Elite, action figures.
09:51So I don't know how to cook and I want to get better at that because I'm sure my husband would appreciate me not microwaving his dinner for him.
09:59But I really, I want to, like, I think cooking could be really fun and really therapeutic and I, that is something I want to get better at.
10:05And, like I said, you don't want, ask Titus O'Neil.
10:09You don't want Natalia hosting a barbecue.
10:10We were going to be, we had a barbecue with Titus and it was, we were filming Total Divas and I had a big party at my house and I was barbecuing.
10:19I almost set my house on fire.
10:20Titus was eating the salad that I tossed and he found a sticker on the tomato.
10:24He called me out for not washing my veggies.
10:26Hey, I don't cook.
10:27Okay, but, yeah, so cooking, I want to get better at it.
10:31But my sister is a culinary artist.
10:33She's a chef.
10:34Oh, wow.
10:34So, you know, I'd leave the drop kicks to me and leave the cooking to her.
10:39So Jenny, my sister, she can do ice sculptures and, you know, whimsical cakes.
10:43She can do anything.
10:44She can, she caters parties for, like, 1,500 people.
10:47She's like Martha Stewart.
10:49So, but she throws a mean drop kick.
