00:05It's going to be a bit more of an autumnal feel, temperatures soon falling away under
00:09clear skies. It should stay mostly dry, perhaps some thicker areas of cloud across the far
00:15north of Scotland may produce the odd spot of light rain. But otherwise for most, staying
00:20dry, plenty of clear skies, temperatures are going to be dipping away, similar to what
00:25they did last night. So we could see temperatures in the countryside down to around the low single
00:31figures, also some mist and fog in places, though most towns and cities holding up between
00:359 to 13 degrees Celsius. Then heading into Sunday, high pressure still very much dominates our
00:43weather picture. So it's going to be dry, settled, probably less in the way of clouds. That means
00:48temperatures are going to climb that little bit higher. We've still got a slight northerly
00:52component to the wind, so it could still feel a little bit cooler around some eastern coasts.
00:57But otherwise it should feel quite pleasant in the sunshine, temperatures around about
01:01average. Highs reaching 23, maybe 24 degrees Celsius across the far south and southeast,
01:07depending on how much sunshine we see. And across the far north, temperatures still pushing
01:11into the high teens here. So away from that northerly breeze, still feeling rather pleasant
01:16where we catch any brighter weather. Then later into the evening, a very similar picture. Soon
01:23those temperatures will fall under those clearer skies. Once again we could see some mist and fog,
01:29mostly across Scotland, parts of Northern Ireland. Less in the way of low cloud across the far south,
01:35we'll start to pick up a bit more of an easterly breeze here. And for most towns and cities, we'll
01:40be
01:40dropping, similar temperatures really, between 9 to 14 degrees Celsius. So another quite fresh feel
01:47to start the new working week. But it should be rather bright start. There'll be plenty of blue skies
01:52around. We'll eventually start to see more cloud as the day progresses. And perhaps later into the
01:57afternoon, there is a chance of some showers. And some of these could actually bring some quite heavy
02:02downpours and maybe some rumbles of thunder. So perhaps turning a little bit more unsettled later on
02:08into the day. But I think most areas should probably remain quite dry with some sunny spells. And we'll
02:13see a slight change in our wind direction, a bit more of an east-south easterly wind. So saying goodbye
02:18to that more northerly flow. So actually temperatures around some eastern coasts will improve by a degree
02:23or two. So once again, feeling quite nice in the sunshine. Highs into the low 20s, if not into the
02:29mid-20s
02:30across the very far south. Now the picture through the week remains settled to start. But eventually,
02:37as the week progresses, we're likely to see more rain and showers. All thanks to areas of low pressure
02:42pushing in from the west and also this area of low pressure, which moves through around Wednesday onwards
02:49into the far south and southwest. And this could potentially bring some rain, perhaps some slightly
02:54stronger winds. But it's still a few days away, so the details may change. So it does look like we're
03:00going
03:00to see some more rain through the course of the week. But I'm afraid we're also going to see a
03:05slight increase
03:06in temperatures and also the humidity levels and probably a return of those uncomfortable nights as well.
03:11So some much needed rain on the cards that may turn a little bit humid towards the end of the
03:16week.
