00:09Now, let's do an accessibility check to the document that we have over here.
00:14In order to do that, I'm going to go into Tools, and over here at the bottom, you see an
00:19option for accessibility.
00:21I can add in the option to the right, so I'm going to click on Add, and I can click
00:25on Accessibility, and you can see it right here.
00:29So now, what I can do is, I can do a full check.
00:32You can do individual checks, but since I'm going to check up everything, I'm going to do a full check.
00:38I'm just going to, these are some options that you can tinker around.
00:43I'm just going to select all of it, and I'm going to start checking.
00:46And once I do that, you can see that there are some issues that actually shows up.
00:50There's some tab order failure, tag content failure, alternative text failure, and so forth.
00:55That is because if you open up the document in any other system, this does not support all of these,
01:01might show some problems.
01:02So, in order to correct these, I'm going to go into Tools, and I'm going to go into Action Widget.
01:08And over here, you can see that there are lists of options that I can select from.
01:13So, I'm going to click on Make Accessible, and I have a range of options right here.
01:18So, it says I should add a document description.
01:21So, these are the list of things that I should do.
01:23So, I'm going to add a document description, and over here, I can add in a title right here.
01:28So, you can see here that it says Microsoft Word.
01:31I'm just going to remove this out and type in Computer Science, just like that.
01:35I can leave the subject as it is.
01:37I can also change this out.
01:38So, I'm going to leave the subject as Test.
01:42Let's say, for example, I can add in the author as TutorTube, and over here, I can add in keywords
01:50as well.
01:51So, Test Computer Science.
01:54Once I do that, I'm going to press OK, and I see a check mark on the side of it.
01:59I can also set open options right here.
02:01So, in order to set open options, I'm going to go into File, right here, I'm going to go into
02:06Properties, and over here in the Initial View.
02:09You can see that the navigation tab is Pace Only.
02:12So, I'm going to click on Pace Only, and Pace Layout, I'm just going to say Single Pace right here,
02:17and Magnification is going to be Fit Pace.
02:20Once I do that, I'm going to press OK, and there you go.
02:23You can also recognize the text using OCR if this is a scanned text, but since this is not, I
02:29can actually just go over here, and then press OK.
02:32There you go, it actually completed it.
02:35You can also detect form fields, but there are no form fields over here.
02:38So, I can simply skip this step.
02:42You can also set tab order priority.
02:45In order to actually set the priority, you actually have to go over here.
02:49You can select this out, right click, and then you have to set the priority right here.
02:55Go to Pace Properties, and then you have to go to Use Document Structure, press OK.
03:00So, that's how you set the tab priority.
03:03You can also set the reading language.
03:05This is English, so I'm just going to press OK.
03:08If it is any other language, you have to select it accordingly.
03:12So, I'm going to select English as it is, and I'm going to press OK.
03:15I can also auto-tag the document right here.
03:18So, this will actually bring up some tags.
03:20So, if you want to search for any information, it makes it easy.
03:23You can also set alternative text.
03:25So, if there are any figures, like pictures, you can add in alternative text.
03:30But in this case, there are no figures.
03:32So, let's say, for example, if you have a picture, you can set alternative text to it.
03:36Once you're done with everything, you can click on Run Exeter Civilty Full Check again,
03:41and start checking.
03:42And you can see a lot of them has been corrected, just like that.
03:46So, there are no forms, no paste content, and so forth.
03:48But you can see that there are some issues right here with headings.
03:53So, I can actually go over here, and you can see that this is the element.
03:56This is the heading element.
03:57So, this is not much of an issue right here.
04:01So, I'm going to leave it as it is.
04:02I'm going to go over here into Document, and there's some logical reading order.
04:08So, this is for when everything is read out.
04:12This is a manual check.
04:13Nothing to worry about much.
04:14Color contrast is all fine.
04:16And so, I don't need to do anything else for this.
04:20So, this is how you check the file for accessibility.
