President Donald Trump says the United States is ready to launch further attacks against Iran after U.S. forces intercepted several Iranian retaliatory strikes.

Speaking Wednesday, Trump described the Iranian response as a “love tap” while emphasizing that Washington remains prepared to respond with force.

“It was a very heavy attack last night, and we’re prepared to do another one anytime we want,” Trump said.

Trump also highlighted the strength of U.S. defense technology, saying, “We have technology that's incredible. Nobody has technology like we have. So, we hit them hard last night, very hard. They gave a little love tap, but we hit them very hard.”

He claimed U.S. forces had destroyed equipment Iran had recently positioned near the Strait of Hormuz.

“We took out all of the new equipment that they tried to build along the Strait of Hormuz, some defensive, some offensive,” Trump said.

He added that American forces had “blew up much more than their radars,” underscoring his claim that the U.S. response was significantly stronger than Iran’s.

00:00We've controlled and we are controlling the Hormone Strait.
00:03We are bringing lots of boats out every day with millions of barrels of oil.
00:10We are, for the most part, doing it without trouble.
00:13Every once in a while, they shoot a drone and we knock it down.
00:16But we have control of very strong control.
00:20They were trying to rebuild their radar systems and a missile system and a mine drop.
00:25You know, we got rid of all the mines in the Hormone Strait.
00:28They were trying to build a rocket that drops mines.
00:31Who does that?
00:32Did you ever build a rocket that dropped?
00:33I never heard of such a thing, but that's what they were doing.
00:35They were building it.
00:36It was almost finished, so we took it out.
00:38We saw that they were building it.
00:39We see everything that they're doing.
00:41They can't move.
00:41They can't go to the bathroom without us seeing it.
00:44So we saw that.
00:45We took it out.
00:46We took out some other things.
00:47And then we hit them last night because they took a shot at us in Jordan, at our base in
00:53Jordan.
00:53We knocked all of them down.
00:55There were, I guess, eight missiles that were shot.
00:57They were all knocked down.
00:59One, we let go because it was so inaccurate.
01:01It landed in the middle of the desert someplace, so we let it go.
01:04Sometimes we let them go if they're not aimed correctly.
01:07It's an amazing science.
01:09What they can do is absolutely incredible.
01:12We had a case where 111 were shot at a certain ship, fellas.
01:17And out of 111, all 111 were knocked down.
01:21Can you imagine that?
01:23Now, five years ago, seven years ago, you couldn't do that.
01:25Today, we have technology that's incredible.
01:27Nobody has technology like we have.
01:29So we hit them hard last night, very hard.
01:35They gave a little love tap, but we hit them very hard last night.
01:39We took out all of the new equipment that they tried to build along the Strait of Hormuz,
01:46some defensive, some offensive.
01:49They were trying to see the ships because they can't see the ships.
01:52You know, we're taking out a lot of ships.
01:54They can't see it because they have no radar because we blew it up.
01:57And we blew up much more than their radar last night.
01:59It was a very heavy attack last night.
02:02And we're prepared to do another one anytime we want.
