00:06lucky to grow up and now work alongside my parents and my brother.
00:10So we're here on the Darling Downs, about an hour west of Toowoomba.
00:14We farm 2,600 hectares odd of mainly irrigated but also a little bit of dryland cropping.
00:21Mainly cotton is our commercial crop and then we also do a bit of grain as well.
00:25At university I studied accounting, so I am a chartered accountant and also did planned science.
00:30So it's been really nice to bring those skill sets and that knowledge together to continue learning.
00:36I am a self-named farmer in training because I do believe that it's a lifelong learning journey.
00:42I'm also very passionate about, I guess, family farming as well as the next generation coming through the ranks.
00:47So to that end, I'm really proud to serve as the chair of our Future Farmers Network.
00:52It's a hat I wear very proudly.
00:53It's a national not-for-profit dedicated to supporting, retaining and attracting young people to Australian agriculture.
01:01I am also now on the board of the Cotton Seed Distributors, so another way that hopefully I'll be able

01:07some of my learnings and experiences for the betterment of the cotton industry moving forward.
