00:00Hi, I'm Kristen Nickel. And I'm Ben Nickel. And we're from Allen View Farm here in the Hunter
00:04Valley up for the Sustainability Award. We're first-generation farmers. We moved here in 2020
00:09with the intention of selling our beef direct and producing beef that was the way that we wanted
00:15to eat, which was pretty hard to find. Turns out that there's lots of other people that want to
00:18eat that way too. We've got about 250 families that we feed every week at the Newcastle Farmer's
00:23Market and then another 130 that are on the subscription with our nose-to-tail subscription
00:28platform. We produce beef that is 100% grass-fed and finished, no antibiotics, no hormones, and we
00:35use the cattle as a tool to improve the land. Sustainability is at the core of everything
00:40that we do, from the way that we farm to the way that we get beef to consumers through our
00:45full
00:45animal utilization subscription, all the way to our packaging, which customers have the option to
00:50return and get a credit for, and then we reuse a few times. It's an honor to be a part
00:55of this award
00:56for the sustainability category, and we're so thrilled that we get to be up here with all of
01:01these other farmers and people in agriculture doing amazing things. Thank you.
