00:13and humbled to be nominated for the Australian Ag Awards in the sustainability section. We farm
00:19a 450 cow beef herd, self-replacing beef herd, with also a thousand terminal crossbred ewes,
00:27over two and a half thousand acres. This year we went outside of tradition and not selling our
00:36calves in the autumn sales, so we had to fill the winter feed gap to grow our weaners out. So
00:44by
00:45putting in this kale we have had excess feed and have also been able to buy trade steers to put
00:52on top.
