00:00Hello there. It's been a pretty mixed picture across the UK to end the weekend, but as we
00:05head into the next couple of days, we will see the return of some brighter spells, but
00:08it will be wet and windy for a few places. But for this evening, it is, like I said,
00:13a mixed picture. There is some patchy cloud, which will lead to some outbreaks of some
00:17light rain at times. But the main thing is it is going to be a pretty mild night to come.
00:22Temperatures aren't really going to fall away too much, even under those clearer skies.
00:26Across the southwest, we could see temperatures not even falling any further than 17 or even
00:3018 degrees. So if we compare that to what we would expect for the time of year, you will
00:36see that most places are around 5 to 7 degrees above average for those in minimum temperatures
00:42tonight. So it will feel quite warm and it will be quite muggy with the higher humidities
00:47across the southern parts of the UK for today. As we go through into tomorrow morning, then
00:53it's going to be a wet start for Wales. Some brighter spells over towards the east, but
00:57that rain will move its way eastwards and turn it showery through the afternoon. And
01:02there will be some more persistent and heavy rain moving in towards Northern Ireland and
01:06Western Scotland into the afternoon. But between those two, there will be some brighter skies
01:11to come. And in that sunshine, we are still clinging on to that warmth. So temperatures
01:15around those low 20s, even across the southern half of Scotland, it is going to be quite
01:19a warm day on Monday. And across the southeast, we could see 25, maybe even 26 degrees by the
01:25middle part of the afternoon. So temperatures still above what we would expect for the time
01:29of year. Now, this band of rain will move its way eastwards through the evening and overnight
01:34period. And we will see some stronger winds coming up from the southwesterly direction across
01:39the Irish Sea, especially across those coastal regions and across that higher ground. And we
01:44will start to see some heavier showers starting to drift in across northern England and central
01:49Wales for first thing on Tuesday morning. Still going to be a mild night for Monday night
01:55into Tuesday. Temperatures across the southeast around 16 or 17 degrees, but further towards
02:00the northwest is introducing some cooler air in this northwesterly flow. So starting to feel
02:04a little bit more comfortable for people up towards the northwest on Tuesday morning. Now
02:10that band of rain will continually move its way southeastwards through the morning. It is weakening
02:15as it does so. So a lot of this rain will start to turn a little bit more patchy and
02:19we will start
02:19to see some brighter and even sunnier skies across Wales and England. But across Scotland, we are
02:25introducing a few more persistent, maybe even organized showers across the north. So we could see
02:30some outbreaks of thunder for a time. But this northwesterly breeze is going to push that humid air up
02:36towards the continent. So it will feel a lot fresher than it has done over the last few days. And
02:41temperatures will be a couple of degrees lower compared to Monday. So a much more comfortable day
02:45to come for Tuesday, even in that sunshine across the south. Now, as we go through the next few days,
02:52it is going to be settled and unsettled as we head towards the back end of the week. It does
