00:00Hello. Now that the nights are pretty much the same length as the days, it turns pretty
00:05cold when the skies are clear and the winds are light. It's going to be a chilly start
00:09to Thursday. Temperatures, towns and cities down into single figures and rural spots a
00:15bit lower. We might even see some pockets of frost in parts of Scotland to start the
00:20day. So yes, a fresh start and as well as the chill in the air, there could be a bit
00:24of mist and fog as well. But most places having a dry start. A few showers on Wednesday evening
00:29over northern Scotland, they will tend to fade and that brisk breeze down the east
00:34coast, well that will ease down as well. So as I said, with the light winds, largely clear
00:39skies, temperatures will be tumbling. But we will also see some mist and fog patches, particularly
00:44I suspect parts of eastern England starting a bit grey, some low cloud mist and even the
00:51odd thicker fog patch for that morning commute. So just something to be aware of. It should
00:56clear fairly smartly as we go through the morning time. And then during the day, we'll
01:01see the cloud increasing in the northwest. Patchy rain at times over the north and the
01:05west of Northern Ireland, turning a bit damp on the west coast of Scotland. Also the breeze
01:10also getting quite lively here, quite noticeable. But look at the wind direction now. We've lost
01:15that northerly wind on the east coast. The wind's wafting up from the south. So yes, it starts
01:20pretty chilly, but by the afternoon, the air will be warming up. Still the day is long enough
01:25to have a bit of power in the sun to see the temperatures, maybe not as high as Wednesday's
01:30values, but 23, 24 across the southeast. More typically elsewhere, high teens or low
01:35twenties with a mix of cloud and sunny spells. As we go through Thursday evening, the rain
01:41will start to spread more across Scotland. Central belt of Scotland, seeing some rain during Thursday
01:46evening. That rain will eventually crop up in Belfast too. And then gradually, and it will be a gradual
01:53process, it'll sink its way into parts of northwest England and north west. So things turning wet here
01:58by Friday morning. Temperatures will be holding up higher as we go through the night because of
02:04that southerly wind now. So it won't be as chilly on Friday morning as Thursday morning. Could be quite a
02:10warm day, in fact, on Friday across East Anglia and the southeast with some sunshine here.
02:15This zone of rain will be fizzling out as it gradually edges south. This might make for quite
02:20a damp day over parts of Lancashire, Cumbria, much of North Wales, seeing rain for a good part of the
02:25day. Question mark about whether we actually see much in Cardiff until later on into the evening time.
02:31Turns brighter for Scotland and Northern Ireland. Some sunny spells, but also a fair few showers coming in
02:36here during Friday. And look at the temperature contrast. 13, 14 in Stornoway. 26, maybe 27 in the
02:44London area. Obviously, it'll be a cooler feeling day if you're stuck under that weather front, the cloud
02:48and the rain over parts of northern England, north and west Wales. That will continue to push its way
02:54slowly south. This weather front's on Friday evening, but fizzling out all the while. And then we're left
03:00with a mixture of high pressure and then more weather fronts coming in, providing a fairly regular change
03:05as we go into the weekend. So the weather chopping and changing quite a bit and things could get quite
