01:00The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) began his دعوت (invitation to Islam) in the home of a Companion known as Erkam bin Erkam, who was only 17 years old at the time.
01:08And thanks to the efforts of that 17-year-old companion, this religion took root in Mecca, Medina, Arabia, and throughout the world.
01:17My dear brothers and sisters, our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) trusted young people so much that even when he was in his death throes, about to meet his Merciful Lord, he trusted them.
01:28He said,
01:29Put Osama bin Zayd in charge of the army, put Osama in charge of the army.
01:35Imagine an 18-year-old army commander who had become the leader and commander-in-chief of Abu Bakr, Omar, Osman, and Ali.
01:45Because our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) valued young people so much, because he cared about them so much,
01:53And it is because of this self-confidence that our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave them,
01:59My brothers, they did not let the head of Islam, or the head of the Islamic faith, be humiliated.
02:04Look, our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) says, my dear brothers and sisters,
02:10He says there are seven classes of people who will be sheltered under the shade of God when the apocalypse comes tomorrow.
02:18Our Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) says the first group of people are those who are just rulers.
02:25He says that the second-class citizen is the young person whose heart is devoted to God and who is devoted to the mosques.
02:32My dear brothers and sisters, when scholars interpreted this hadith, they said the following:
02:38There was wisdom in the Prophet Muhammad's (peace and blessings be upon him) classification of people into seven classes.
02:45Our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) placed just leadership in the first position.
02:50The greatest wisdom in immediately following this is that he said, "Young people whose hearts are attached to mosques, whose hearts are attached to God."
02:57If a society has just leaders,
03:02The reason there are just heads of state in that society is,
03:06They are young people whose hearts are devoted to God, he said.
03:09In other words, to a society's state, to a society's system,
03:14The people who guide a society's form of government and the head of state who runs that government.
03:20Our scholars have stated that the second group of young people mentioned by our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) are those whose hearts are attached to mosques.
03:31So if prostitution has increased in a society,
03:34If, in a society, some people do not govern according to what God has revealed,
03:38If depravity is rampant in a society,
03:41My brothers, know that in that society there are those whose hearts are attached to the mosques.
03:46The number of young people whose hearts are devoted to God has decreased.
03:50If the number of young people whose hearts are devoted to God had increased,
03:55Those young people know both the state structure and its system,
03:58and also because they will correct the leaders and administrators who govern that state,
04:04It was in that society, in that sociological context, that a morally upright generation would emerge.
04:09Let us then pray, my brothers and sisters,
04:11If we consider ourselves as young people,
04:14That is what our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said,
04:17Under any shade other than the shade of God,
04:21To stay in that place where there is no shadow,
04:24As young people, let's put ourselves in the place of the young man in this hadith.
04:29May our hearts be attached to Allah, may our hearts be attached to the mosques.
04:33Let our hearts be connected to conversations, and let our hearts...
04:36Our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him,
04:39May your heart be as devoted as Usama bin Zayd's.
04:42So that even at the moment of death, he wouldn't have any regrets.
04:47Let them put Usama bin Zayd, an 18-year-old, in charge of the army.
04:52My brothers, look, Ibn Hibban, may Allah have mercy on him, said:
04:58He is a scholar of hadith and has opened a chapter in his hadith book that...
05:04Our guest today,
05:06To better understand our guest, Usama bin Zayd,
05:11He said,
05:12From our Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him),
05:16He dedicated a chapter in his book to the hadiths that command us to love Usama bin Zayd.
05:21So, in the eyes of our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), Usama ibn Zayd was so precious,
05:27He is such a precious, such an honorable person,
05:30Because our Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said that loving him is a part of faith,
05:38Here are our scholars,
05:39Our hadith scholars have said about loving Usama bin Zayd,
05:43They have dedicated chapters in their books to hadiths that command us to love him.
05:48Look, my dear brothers and sisters,
05:50This is the love that our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had for him.
05:55It's so precious, so valuable,
05:57This community has called Usama bin Zayd "the love of the Messenger of Allah."
06:01So, he said, "the beloved of our Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him)."
06:06So much so that,
06:08One day in the Prophet's Mosque,
06:09Our master Abdullah ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him),
06:12Usama bin Zayd had a son named Muhammad,
06:16He started playing in the mosque,
06:18He started to make a mess, though.
06:19He couldn't recognize or know that he was the son of Usama bin Zayd.
06:24Later, when he was informed that he was the son of Usama bin Zayd,
06:30He stopped the child at the mosque,
06:32kissed, smelled,
06:34Then she started crying.
06:36And they said,
06:38They said, "Hey Abdullah,"
06:40When they ask why you're crying,
06:42"I swear," he said.
06:43Our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him,
06:45He loved Usama bin Zayd so much, he said.
06:48I believe that if he were in this mosque today,
06:52And if he had seen Muhammad, the son of Usama, playing in this mosque,
06:56That will definitely stop him.
06:58He smells it,
07:00He hugs her,
07:01He would kiss her and
07:02He would look at her and cry, he said.
07:05That's why I kissed her,
07:07I smelled it,
07:08I hugged her and
07:09"I cried just looking at him," she said.
07:12My dear brothers and sisters,
07:14Our master Usama bin Zayd (may Allah be pleased with him),
07:16In the 5th year of the prophethood,
07:18He was born in Mecca.
07:21Her mother, Umm Ayman,
07:22As we all know, his father...
07:25It was Zayd ibn Haritha.
07:26So, here we have a child born to two precious people.
07:32Usama bin Zayd.
07:33One of them is Zayd ibn Haritha,
07:35The legendary hero of Mu'te and the martyred commander of the ummah,
07:40The other one is from our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him,
07:43After my mother, the woman she referred to as her mother was Umm Ayman.
07:47So much so that,
07:48Our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him,
07:50He says,
07:51Whoever wants to see a heavenly woman living on earth,
07:58Let him look at Umm Ayman,
07:59Let him look at Umm Ayman,
08:01he says.
08:01Allahu Akbar.
08:02Well,
08:04There are those on earth in this age who are destined for paradise,
08:08Before even going to heaven,
08:09Are there people who walk on God's earth?
08:15By God, it's possible, my brothers.
08:17Perhaps among us too,
08:19right now,
08:19Perhaps it is what our Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) foretold,
08:23even though he was not blessed with this good news,
08:27Perhaps even among us right now,
08:29Something that God has given great value to,
08:32Angels are very precious,
08:33something he valued very much,
08:35And tomorrow he said, "This is a man destined for paradise."
08:39There are also people.
08:40Hopefully,
08:41One of those people is,
08:42Let's be together, my brothers and sisters.
08:44If you are like those people,
08:45like, to be
08:46If we don't feel like that inside,
08:48Then let us pray to God to be among them.
08:52In our Tahajjud prayers,
08:54My Lord, I too am on this earth,
08:55roaming in your land,
08:56Before even seeing paradise,
08:58Let us pray that we may be among those who attain paradise in this world.
09:03My brothers and sisters,
09:04so much so that,
09:05Our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him,
09:07Look,
09:08Usam Ebbin to Zayd,
09:10He/She has such a love that...
09:12Hasan (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates.
09:14He says,
09:14We say Usam Eylem,
09:16"We were peers," he says.
09:17One day, he says,
09:18Our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, says:
09:20Me,
09:20He sat her on his right lap,
09:22Usam Ebbin Zeyd also,
09:24He sat her on his left lap,
09:25And he said,
09:27Oh God, he said,
09:27I like these, he said.
09:30please, he said
09:31You should like these too, he said.
09:33And he said, "Oh God!"
09:34"O God, love those who love these things too," he said.
09:37So, to love Usam Ebbin Zeyd means,
09:40Our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him,
09:42It means to be worthy of his prayer.
09:45Whoever likes Usam E,
09:46whoever admires him,
09:48Whoever praises the Companions in this way,
09:51Our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him,
09:53To Allah, Glorified and Exalted be He,
09:55What did he say?
09:56O Lord, grant love to those who love Usam E.
09:57She had prayed for you to love her, hadn't she?
10:00then loving Usam E,
10:02It means receiving the Prophet's blessing, my brothers and sisters.
10:04Receiving the Prophet's blessings is also...
10:06the paths to paradise,
10:08It means opening up to us.
10:10One day again,
10:12Our Master Usam Ebbin Zeyd Radiyallahu Anh,
10:14Our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him,
10:16while playing in the mosque
10:18He destroyed everything around him,

10:20later it got caught on the foot,
10:22According to legend,
10:24He hit his face on something,
10:25And it started bleeding on his cheek.
10:27To our mother, Hazrat Aisha Radiyallahu Anh,
10:30He called, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him),
10:32He said,

10:34Usam E'm fell,
10:35He sustained a wound to his cheek.
10:37and blood is flowing from his face,
10:38Clean his face,
10:40Apply a bandage.
10:41when he said
10:42Our mother Aisha,

10:48Usam Ebbin Zeyd is somewhat like that too.

11:18How can things not get better with children?
11:20How dare you not carry out my order?

12:57They always try to find a flaw even in every good thing, don't they?
13:00There are mind readers behind everything, aren't there?
13:04They too, by reading intentions in this way,
13:06They said,
13:07Ayşe,
13:08My brothers said she committed adultery with Safwan.
13:11Our Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him),
13:13They made such a false accusation against Pak's wife.
13:16My brothers and sisters,
13:17Look, Islamic historians say that...
13:19For forty days, God did not send any revelation.
13:23And,
13:24Even our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him,
13:26He didn't know if his wife had committed adultery.
13:29And Allah Almighty will, during these forty days,
13:32How will people react?
13:35I wonder what people will say.
13:37He put them to the test.
13:39And,
13:40My brothers and sisters,
13:42Allah Almighty sent down verses 11-18 of Surah An-Nur forty days later.
13:47And in the verses, our Lord says:
13:49that slanderous news,
13:51When it comes to believing men and believing women,
13:55Shouldn't they be saying that this is blatant slander?
14:00Look, Allah Almighty says to some Muslims:
14:04He sent these verses as a critique.
14:06And our scholars say that,
14:08that day,
14:08When this defamation incident occurred,
14:10people,
14:11It was divided into three classes.
14:13First class,
14:14Muslims behaving ignorantly.
14:16So when this slanderous news came,
14:18It already exists, you know.
14:19Those who say he did it,
14:20He already,
14:21He is someone who deals with such things,
14:24immediately the honor of a Muslim,
14:26dignity,
14:27honor,
14:28trampled underfoot,
14:30They are Muslims who behave ignorantly.

14:33The second group,
14:35They are the ones who remain silent in the face of this slander.
14:38So what does it mean to remain silent in the face of an event?

15:51Someone attributed it to him.
15:53He has arrived.
15:54He said to Usama bin Zayd,
15:55Usama said,
15:56People said,
15:57It's about my wife,
15:58They speak so recklessly.
16:01You are related to this topic,
16:02When asked what you think,
16:05Look, my brothers and sisters,
16:06those you call friends,
16:07The one you call a brother,
16:09a friend,
16:10what a person will do

16:13Usama bin Zayd.
16:14And he said,

17:28Our mother Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her),
17:30What did he tell us?
17:32If you want to be the beloved of the Prophet,
17:36Don't believe fake news.
17:38lies,
17:39Don't listen to rumors.
17:41Do not listen to slander,
17:44You too, Usama bin Zayd,
17:45as he had become beloved to the Prophet,
17:48He said, "Become lovers."
17:50My brothers and sisters,

19:07These children are different children.
19:10Not because they didn't get a phone call,
19:12Not because he didn't buy a newly released game,
19:17The Messenger of Allah did not take me to jihad,
19:19Because I won't be able to become a martyr,
19:21These children were crying children.
19:23And our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, again,
19:26While walking towards the heart of Uhud in the year 3 AH
19:30Osama has turned 12 years old.
19:32Again, our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him,
19:34He said to him, "You are too young, Usama."
19:37and sent it back,

19:40So what about us?

19:48But there is a place we can imagine,

21:32Or when a headscarf issue arises,
21:35what so-and-so teacher said,

22:02If necessary, to avoid losing our jobs,

22:07However,
22:08The generation of the Companions of the Prophet

22:13They were people who tried to favor grandeur.
22:16May God keep us away from them.
22:18Look, my dear brothers and sisters,
22:20Let me tell you about a woman.
22:22So rather than preferring licenses,
22:25A woman who prefers grandeur.

22:32She gave birth to ten children.
22:34This woman is from Gaza and she is a doctor.

23:05"I gave birth to them to dedicate them to God," she says.
23:09And none of my children,
23:11They are no different from the children who died in Gaza.
23:14"All the children who died in Gaza are my children," my siblings say.
23:18Are mothers in this era destined to dedicate their children to God?
23:24Are fathers in this era giving birth to and raising their children so that they will be devout Muslims?
23:31Or are we raising them to become engineers or doctors, my brothers and sisters?
23:36Allahu Akbar.
23:37These are the children born to these mothers, who become Usama bin Zayed in Gaza.
23:42If these mothers give birth to children in such a first attempt,
23:45Tell me, my dear brothers and sisters,
23:47Can Israel do anything to these children?
23:52Regarding this, Imam Mawdudi (may Allah have mercy on him) says:
23:55He says that a bullet capable of piercing through faith has not been technologically created.
24:01And doesn't Gaza truly stand before our eyes today as the greatest proof that faith cannot be impervious to bullets, even with an armor of steel?
24:11Their children whose arms and legs were severed,
24:14Mothers filling garbage bags with their pets and taking them to cemeteries, saying "Hazbunallah wa ni'mal wakil" (God is sufficient for us and He is the best disposer of affairs),
24:22Isn't this proof, my brothers?
24:26Isn't this proof of faith?
24:28We live in our homes where children lose their arms and legs,
24:34If one of his four toys were to go missing,
24:37We're causing quite a commotion, aren't we?
24:40Just like the faith that God gave them,
24:43May God grant us faith as well, God willing.
24:46My dear brothers and sisters, look,
24:48Our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him,
24:50In the year 9 AH, Usama ibn Zayd was appointed commander over the Jews of Fadak.
24:56And he sent a series of them there.
24:58And the detachment sent by our Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) had a small skirmish there.
25:03And Usama bin Zayd had a man named Mirtas pinned to the ground.
25:09And then Mirtas said,
25:12O Usama, I have faith in God,
25:15"I say 'La ilahe illallah' (There is no god but Allah)," he said.
25:17But my dear brothers Usama Bin Zayed,
25:20He killed the man even though he said "La ilahe illallah" (There is no god but Allah).
25:24He killed the man.
25:25And look, my brothers and sisters,
25:27Because he killed a man for reciting the Shahada (Islamic declaration of faith),
25:31When our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) heard this,
25:33To Usama, whom she loved so much,
25:36Ravi says,
25:37The vein in his forehead bulged.
25:39O Usama, what have you done?
25:41Did you kill someone who said "La ilahe illallah" (There is no god but Allah)?
25:46And Usama bin Zayd said,
25:49Oh Lord, God,
25:50Honestly, at that last moment, it was out of fear.
25:52He said, "La ilahe illallah" (There is no god but Allah).
25:54That's why I killed him.
25:56When he said, "He didn't really believe,"
25:58Our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
26:00"Did you open his heart and look inside, Usama?" he said.
26:03"Did you cut open its heart and look inside to see what was there?" he asked.
26:05So, do you know what his intentions are?
26:08"Hey Usama," he said.
26:10And my brothers,
26:11Usama bin Zayd says,
26:12I wish I hadn't become a Muslim before this incident.
26:17Allahu Akbar.
26:18Listen, my brothers and sisters,
26:20There are many valuable lessons for us in this anecdote about our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and Usama bin Zayd.
26:27The first lesson we should learn is this:
26:29What we call Sharia,
26:31He checks the grain.
26:33Sharia,
26:33It is not a religion that came to read people's intentions.
26:38Nobody,
26:39You should never try to read someone else's intentions.
26:42My brothers and sisters.
26:43Or rather, that's what he was actually thinking.
26:45You shouldn't say that, brother.
26:46My brothers and sisters.
26:47Actually, this is how he treated me, though...
26:49Because he did it for this reason,
26:51Judgments based on a number of anxieties we have created for ourselves,
26:56Our religion is not one that we built.
27:00The person opposite,
27:01A religion that tells us we have to accept whatever it says,
27:06The religion of Islam.
27:07Look, that's why our Lord tells us what to do in verse 12 of Surah Hujurat.
27:12It warns.
27:13He says,
27:13O you who believe, he says,
27:15Avoid suspicion, he says.
27:17So, from things you've made up on your own,
27:21Avoid doing things based on your own whims and desires.
27:25Because many of them are sins, my brothers say.
27:29Here is our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him,
27:31This is the message they are sending us through Usama bin Zayed.
27:34What is our second lesson?
27:35Look, our Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) also said:
27:38What was the relationship between Usama bin Zayed and them?
27:40Hubbi,
27:41He was the Messenger of Allah.
27:42So Usama bin Zayd,
27:44As if he was the beloved of the Messenger of Allah,
27:46He was someone the Prophet loved.
27:48But our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him,
27:50Because he said, "I love Usama very much,"
27:53He didn't sweep the mistake he made under the rug.
27:57My brothers didn't sweep it under the rug.
27:59But that's usually how we do it.
28:02So when someone from the outside makes a mistake,
28:04When someone from another congregation does something wrong,
28:07Another person,
28:08Or when someone who is not from our family does something wrong,
28:12We bring them to the guillotine immediately.
28:15We cut off their heads.
28:18But the one who made the mistake is from our community,
28:21Or perhaps one of our relatives,
28:22When someone from our family is involved,
28:24We are not showing the same justice, my brothers.
28:27This, unfortunately, is a typical Islamic figure.
28:30It stems from our inability to be there.
28:32We are not fair.
28:33To someone else's idol,
28:34Like Abraham, to his idol,
28:36A person who is like Abu Jahl,
28:40He is a Muslim who has not yet completed his personality.
28:42Therefore, may God never let any of us stray from justice.
28:46Towards our spouse as well,
28:47Towards our mother too,
28:48Towards our father as well,
28:50Whoever it may be,
28:52Before justice,
28:53Our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him,
28:55People,
28:57A comb,
28:57As it was, it was equal,
28:59In God's balance, people...
29:01As he said, it is equal to,
29:03To be fair and just to people,
29:04Approaching equally,
29:06To be a believer is given to each of us,
29:08May it happen, God willing.
29:09The third lesson we will learn, my brothers and sisters, is...
29:11Look,
29:12What did the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say?
29:13O Usamed, open his heart,
29:16Did you split it open and look inside?
29:17You declared him an infidel.
29:19Peace and blessings be upon him,
29:20Through Usamed, he taught us this lesson.
29:22Do not declare someone an infidel.
29:24Do not insult,
29:25Deliver the notice.
29:27My brothers told me to invite him.
29:28Allahu Akbar.
29:30Look,
29:30Isn't it important?
29:32Right now,
29:33We see Muslims declaring each other infidels.
29:36We see Muslims insulting each other.
29:38Yes,
29:39People in this society engage in idolatrous acts.
29:41Yes,
29:42People in this society commit blasphemous acts.
29:44But my brothers and sisters,
29:45These people,
29:46In our Çanakkale,
29:49In our Kurtul Ebmare,
29:51Those who became martyrs,
29:51Those who were martyred on these lands of our homeland,
29:53Descendants of humans,
29:55Poor Muslims.
29:56Rather than declaring these people infidels,
29:59Reaching out a compassionate hand,
30:01Wouldn't it be best to dispel their ignorance?
30:04Allahu Akbar.
30:06At work,
30:06Our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him,
30:08He taught us this too.
30:09Well,
30:10Without knowing people's circumstances,
30:12Regarding them,
30:13This person is an infidel.
30:14Because he is an idolater,
30:16In any way,
30:18In the words,
30:19He taught us not to make accusations.
30:21My brothers and sisters,
30:22Look,
30:22This is one of the mistakes we commonly make.
30:24We are witnessing an act of blasphemy committed by a man.
30:27We see a company's wrongdoing committed by a man.
30:30We immediately call the man an infidel.
30:32We immediately call that man an idolater.
30:34My brothers and sisters,
30:35To be able to do this,
30:36There are many reasons.
30:38For him,
30:39Before declaring someone an infidel, they said:
30:42Our scholars,
30:43There are many folk poems.
30:45For example,
30:46There is such a thing as coercion.
30:47When a person uses a swear word,
30:50Perhaps that swear word,
30:52In case of force,
30:54Could he have used it in a threatening situation?
30:57Thence,
30:58Ahmad ibn Hanbal,
30:59May Allah have mercy on him, he says:
31:01A man,
31:02From a mosque,
31:03From a mosque,
31:04If he were to shout like this,
31:05You can never declare him an infidel, he says.
31:07There is no God.
31:08If he says Muhammad is a liar,
31:10I swear, he says.
31:11You cannot declare him an infidel.
31:13You cannot declare him an infidel, he says.
31:16Oh, Sheikh,
31:16When they ask, "Why do you say that?",
31:19Ahmad ibn Hanbal says:
31:20None of you,
31:21Inside the mosque or the practice area,
31:23A man who denies God and the Prophet,
31:26He had a sword pointed at his head,
31:28He says you didn't see it.
31:29Allahu Akbar.
31:31Therefore, my brothers and sisters,
31:33A person can commit an act of disbelief,
31:35But this deed,
31:37Why he did it without being investigated,
31:39Without research,
31:40Without investigation,
31:41That person cannot be declared an infidel.
31:44For example, the second one,
31:46Our scholars have called them folk songs,
31:47Or a person might be in a state of negligence.
31:50Because he was in a state of heedlessness,
31:53A person may sometimes use swear words.
31:56Therefore, because he fell into that negligence,
31:58Just because he used those swear words,
32:01They immediately insult the person,
32:03There's no point in declaring someone an infidel either.
32:05My dear siblings.
32:06Look, it's related to this,
32:08There are so many wonderful examples in our biography of the Prophet.
32:11For example, imagine this:
32:12Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him),
32:14Allah, may His glory be exalted,
32:16Although it gave women the right to receive large amounts of dowry,
32:20What did he do in the sermon?
32:21He said,
32:22Oh women,
32:24Be fair and treat the men of Medina,
32:26He said, "Don't ask for too much dowry."
32:28Normally, God,
32:29Something that He has made lawful,
32:31Our master Umar (may Allah be pleased with him),
32:32Look, he made women forbidden.
32:34But no human being would ever stand up and say,
32:36This is an act of blasphemy.
32:38O Omar,
32:39What God has made lawful,
32:40You cannot forbid us,
32:42My brothers didn't say, "Therefore, you have become an infidel."
32:45He didn't say "Allahu Akbar".
32:48Or imagine this,
32:50Our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him,
32:52While on the way to the Tabuk expedition
32:53The army was passing through a place,
32:55And there, the polytheists,
32:57There was a tree called Zat-un Envat.
32:59To that Person's Envat tree,
33:01My brothers, the polytheists,
33:03To make your wishes,
33:04They used to tie these rags together.
33:07So that our wishes may come true,
33:08Our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him,
33:11The apple of your eye,
33:13And then came the Companions, who were foremost in worshipping Allah.
33:16They said,
33:17O Messenger of Allah,
33:18You too,
33:19As these polytheists did,
33:21Make a wishing tree.
33:22We too, in order for our wishes to come true,
33:24Let's tie a rag there,
33:25In what they said,
33:26Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam,
33:27He said,
33:28"I swear," he said.
33:29You,
33:31The Israelites,
33:32The words he said to Moses,
33:33The same,
33:34You told me,
33:35He says.
33:35What was that quote?
33:37O Moses,
33:38Give us one,
33:38Have a calf,
33:39Make us a statue,
33:41And we, too,
33:42Let's close it,
33:43You said,
33:43He said.
33:44Well,
33:44This was an act of blasphemy.
33:45But,
33:46Our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him,
33:47Them,
33:48How can you say such a thing?
33:50How can you commit such an act of disbelief?
33:52My brothers didn't say that,
33:53In a compassionate way,
33:55He extended his hand,
33:56Don't say things like that again.
33:58He said.
33:59Well,
33:59Not aimed at destruction,
34:01Towards doing,
34:02Not aimed at causing corruption,
34:03A method aimed at reform,
34:05And,
34:06He adopted the procedure,
34:07And his companions too,
34:08Here's another one,
34:09Such insults,
34:11It didn't fall.
34:11Look, my brothers and sisters,
34:12So much so that,
34:13One day,
34:14In the Prophet's Mosque,
34:15Those who have memorized the Quran,
34:16Quran memorizers,
34:17While memorizing the Quran,
34:18Two groups of people arrived,
34:20One of them is a hypocrite.
34:21Others are Muslims,
34:23They started making fun of them,
34:24When they gain a little weight,
34:26As their bellies grew,
34:28They said,
34:29They were engrossed in their negligence,
34:31They said,
34:31The reason you have such large bellies is...
34:34They said, "The Quran you are reading..."
34:36Well,
34:36This Quran is leading you to laziness,
34:39This Quran encourages laziness,
34:40Saying,
34:41They used such an offensive word.
34:43Someone standing there said,
34:45He said to you,
34:46I will complain to the Messenger of Allah, he said.
34:48How can you [refer to] the book of God?
34:49You say, "This is how you make fun of us,"
34:51Running,
34:52While going to see our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him
34:55They too,
34:55Either there was a misunderstanding,
34:56Actually, our aim is...
34:57It was not about mocking the book of God,
34:59Even if they say that,
35:01Before they even arrived, my brothers,
35:03Verses 65 to 65 of Surah An-Nisa,
35:05Verses 66 have been revealed.
35:07Look, our Lord says in those verses:
35:11"Whatever you do, don't apologize," he says.
35:13After you have believed,
35:15He says you have become infidels.
35:17You are with God,
35:19With his Prophet,
35:20With his book,
35:21Are you kidding me? he says.
35:22My brothers and sisters,
35:23Are you kidding me?
35:25And immediately in verse 66,
35:27Allah Almighty says:
35:29God is among you,
35:30Although he forgave some of them,
35:33He says he will never forgive some of them.
35:35Allahu Akbar,
35:36Look, there's a moderate act of blasphemy involved.
35:39And this act of disbelief,
35:40There are some hypocrites,
35:41And my siblings,
35:42There are Muslims,
35:43Both of them committed the crime,
35:44And our scholars say that,
35:47If, because of an act of disbelief,
35:48If a man had become an unbeliever,
35:50This is in verse 66 of Surah An-Nisa,
35:53What wouldn't Allah Almighty say?
35:55Allah,
35:56Because of this deed you have committed,
35:58Even if he forgives some of you,
35:59You will never forgive some of them,
36:01So,
36:02When one commits an act of disbelief,
36:03Some have been forgiven by God,
36:05Who are they?
36:05Unwillingly,
36:07At that moment they came upon a group,
36:09They were taken aback at that moment,
36:12Thence,
36:13Allah, Glorified and Exalted be His Name,
36:14Because they didn't do this knowingly,
36:17He said he would forgive them.
36:19Therefore, my brothers and sisters,
36:20Even today, people...
36:21They might have been caught up in a lapse of concentration.
36:23Without knowing,
36:24They may have made a foolish mistake.
36:26Therefore,
36:27Just as our Lord forgave them,
36:30If he extends a hand of compassion to them,
36:31So if we have people around us who are so oblivious,
36:35What should we do to them?
36:36Let's reach out our hand.
36:37Look,
36:38In another rhyme, they say:
36:40One of the obstacles to not declaring someone an infidel is,
36:43One of the proverbs, our scholars said, is:
36:45They said that's ignorance.
36:47Sometimes that's true.
36:48A person does something ignorantly,
36:50So, he does it unknowingly.
36:52So what should be done with it?
36:54To knowledge,
36:54We must strive to guide people to the right path.
36:57Our master Muaz bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him),
36:59He came from Yemen.
37:01And in front of our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him,
37:03Medina,
37:05My brothers who prostrated themselves in Münevvere.
37:07Normally, our scholars say that,
37:09It is blasphemy for one human being to prostrate before another.
37:12The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
37:14"What are you doing, Muaz?" he said.
37:15By Allah, O Messenger of Allah, to the kings of Yemen,
37:18I saw the people there prostrating themselves out of respect.
37:22Then respect is most befitting of the prophet.
37:26I thought I'd offer my prayers to our Prophet as well.
37:28That's why I prostrated myself, he said.
37:29And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
37:32"Hey Muaz," he said.
37:32If it were permissible for one human being to prostrate before another,
37:37I would tell the woman to prostrate herself before the man.
37:40So don't do that again, Muaz," he said.
37:43Allahu Akbar.
37:43So, my brothers and sisters,
37:45As I said a moment ago,
37:46Not to cause corruption,
37:48What do we need to do to reform people?
37:50We need to hold their hands.
37:53Because why, my brothers and sisters?
37:54We are the ones who invite.
37:57We are not judges.
37:59We are not prosecutors.
38:00In other words, against the criminal on the other side
38:03Rather than rounding up the insane,
38:06The evidence in his favor
38:07We are responsible for collecting them.
38:09So when someone comes to you and says,
38:12When asked what the ruling is for someone who doesn't pray,
38:15So rather than saying that he became an idolater or an infidel,
38:18What should we say?
38:20Taking her hand,
38:22We need to say that it means taking him to the mosque.
38:26Isn't it?
38:26Because why?
38:27Our Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said to us:
38:30Believers are like members of a single body.
38:34When a limb is injured,
38:36Others are influenced by it as well.
38:37For example, think about my siblings,
38:40So when your ear is malfunctioning,
38:42When your ear is infected,
38:44Are you removing this organ from your body?
38:48For aught I know,
38:48When your back starts to hurt,
38:50To get rid of this waist,
38:52Are you cutting your waist?
38:53When your eyes hurt,
38:55To get rid of this eye,
38:56Are you going to gouge out your eyes and throw them away?
38:58You're not throwing it away, are you?
38:59Because why?
39:01It is one of your limbs, your organs.
39:03Similarly,
39:04If we, as believers, are like the limbs of such a body,
39:08So what shouldn't we do then?
39:10Just because someone did something wrong,
39:12Because he committed an act of disbelief,
39:13So that you may commit an act of idolatry,
39:15Rather than immediately casting him out of the religion,
39:18With his troubles,
39:20What should we do, my brothers?
39:21Let's try to worry about it.
39:22May God protect us all.
39:24From being a judge,
39:26From being a prosecutor,
39:27The people opposite,
39:29from gathering evidence against him,
39:31May He protect it.
39:32My Lord,
39:33To the people opposite,
39:34Being able to look at this matter with good faith,
39:36The evidence in their favor,
39:39Gathering,
39:39Those who can also bring them to Islam,
39:41To be human,
39:42To each of us,
39:43May God grant it and make it a success.
39:45My Lord,
39:45Wisdom comes to our minds,
39:47Our eyes have discernment,
39:48May it fill our hearts with love.
