00:04I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan. In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
00:07Praise be to Allah, Lord of all worlds.
00:09Assalatu vesselamu ala rasulina Muhammedin ve ala alihi ve eshabihi ecmain.
00:14Indeed, Allah and His angels send blessings upon the Prophet.
00:17Therefore, O people of faith, send blessings and peace upon the Messenger of Allah with complete submission.
00:24My dear fellow believers,
00:25God willing, we will translate the life story of Usam bin Zeyd, may Allah be pleased with him, who shone brightly in the presence of our Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, here today.
00:34We will continue.
00:35My brothers, as we all know, our master Usam bin Zeyd (may Allah be pleased with him) was born in Mecca in the 5th year of the prophethood.
00:44They were among the esteemed companions of the Prophet.
00:45To Zayd ibn Harith, whose father was the legendary hero of Mute,
00:50His mother was Umm Ayman (may Allah be pleased with her), whom the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) referred to as "my mother after my own mother."
00:58The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
01:02Whoever wants to see a woman destined for paradise on earth,
01:06She was a person to whom he addressed the message, "Whoever wants to see a woman destined for paradise walking on earth should look at Umm Ayman."
01:14My brothers and sisters, there is such a beautiful and unique relationship between our Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and Usam ibn Zayd.
01:23Our scholars have described Usam bin Zeyd as Hubbi Rasulullah (the one who loves the Messenger of Allah).
01:28So they described her as the beloved of the Prophet.
01:32In fact, when Ibn Hibban, may Allah have mercy on him, was compiling his book of hadiths, he opened a chapter on this subject.
01:37Our scholars have said that this chapter is titled "Hadiths that command us to love Usam ibn Zayd."
01:45So, Usam bin Zeyd (may Allah be pleased with him) was someone who was loved and valued so much by our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
01:54Our Lord.
01:55My brothers and sisters, it has been 8 years since the Hijri calendar, and our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, has returned to his blessed Mecca from which he had departed.
02:04And in the year 8 AH, he conquered Mecca with his lions.
02:09So much so that when our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) conquered Mecca,
02:14So rather than entering Mecca like a victorious commander,
02:19My brothers, he entered Mecca like a humble commander, his head almost touching the hump of his camel.
02:28So, when I entered there, I didn't loot anything in any way, I didn't say, "You have oppressed me for all these years,"
02:36Therefore, he did not entertain the thought or idea that "I will oppress you too."
02:42"What Joseph said to his brothers, I say to you as well, and I forgive you," he said.
02:48My brothers, Ravi narrates that our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said:
02:51When entering Mecca on a camel, there was someone behind him, and he had another person sitting next to him on the camel's hump.
03:00Who was that?
03:01Our master Usama bin Zayd, may Allah be pleased with him.
03:04Look, our scholars have extracted so much wisdom and so many valuable lessons from this anecdote.
03:11Firstly, how Islam, through the example of our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), has given value to humanity.
03:17So, our Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) took a Black person, someone whom people looked down upon simply because he was a Negro and didn't consider a human being.
03:27He took it on the camel's hump and entered Mecca with it.
03:33So what do we understand from this?
03:35So, Islam bestows dignity upon humanity.
03:38So, Islam elevates a person to a position of honor, regardless of whether they are black, white, or anything else.
03:46For everyone is honored and respected in the sight of God and the Prophet as long as they obey God and the Prophet.
03:54So, my brothers and sisters, look, we are explaining here the value that Islam gives to human beings,
04:00If we were to ask what one of the greatest calamities of this era is,
04:05Perhaps one of the greatest calamities that our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) inflicted upon humanity was the one that befell humanity through Usama ibn Zayd during the conquest of Mecca.
04:14We have forgotten its value and now we are living in a period where humanity is being trampled underfoot.
04:21Imperialists do this, Zionists are already doing it, but even those who claim to be Muslim are doing it.
04:27What have we, as Muslims, done to people? We have devalued them.
04:34So we've made them lose their appreciation for it.
04:36But what did our Lord say in the Quran?
04:40Vele gad kerremna beni Adem demiş mümiş?
04:42He said, "We created the children of Adam in a most honorable and dignified manner."
04:49Unfortunately, we have reduced the human being, to whom God condescended and revealed His message, into a worthless creature, haven't we?
04:59Therefore, my brothers and sisters, the most honored being created by God is man, and if that man is also a Muslim, he deserves even more.
05:08We need to value it.
05:10But unfortunately, it's not always like that, is it?
05:13Unfortunately, even within our own Islamic communities, among Muslims themselves, we can't fully realize what we call brotherhood.
05:24We have no tolerance for each other, no respect for each other, and unfortunately, we have lost our selflessness towards one another.
05:32We only have a discourse of brotherhood in our language; unfortunately, we have become Muslims who cannot demonstrate this in our lives.
05:40Look, my brothers and sisters, when Islamic scholars were explaining to us the value that Islam gives to humanity, they said:
05:50He has more rights than a Muslim living in Dar al-Harb (land of war).
05:56The rights of a non-Muslim living in a place of war (Dar al-Harb) that is also a place of Islam.
05:58Therefore, the rights of an unbeliever living in Dar al-Harb (the land of war) are greater than the rights of a Muslim living in Dar al-Harb.
06:06What do they mean?
06:07For example, when you live in Dar al-Harb (the land of war) under a system of government that does not rule according to what God has revealed,
06:14If someone came and killed you, what wouldn't that governing system do?
06:19He will not exact retribution and take your rights from that murderer.
06:23They feed him in the most luxurious prisons, then what do they do after he's served 3-5 years?
06:29I'll release my brothers.
06:30But if you hear from a Muslim that an unbeliever has been killed in Dar al-Islam (the land of Islam),
06:36What does Islam do?
06:37It does not practice positive discrimination.
06:39So you were already a Muslim.
06:41This one was also an infidel, and you killed him too.
06:43So, what do my brothers do to him without me saying, "Let me distinguish you"?
06:47He applies retribution.
06:48Therefore, our scholars have said that the right of a non-Muslim living in Dar al-Islam (the abode of Islam) is...
06:55This is far more than the rights of a Muslim living in Dar al-Harq.
06:59What does this show?
07:00This shows the value Islam places on human life.
07:04Brothers and sisters, what is the second lesson we will learn here?
07:07Look, our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him,
07:10Our scholars have given us a second lesson from the fact that Usa bin Zeyd, a black man, was taken on the back of the camel on the day of the conquest of Mecca.
07:19There is no racial superiority mentality in Islam.
07:22So Islam does not consider blood ties.
07:25Just because a person has powerful blood flowing through their veins, what wouldn't they do?
07:30It does not value human life.
07:32But from whom did the concept of racial superiority come into our society?
07:37It was inherited from the Jews, wasn't it?
07:39What is there in Judaism?
07:41They believe that all other created beings besides themselves are Goyin.
07:46Goyin, Goyin.
07:47What does Goyin mean?
07:48They call all the creatures that God created to serve the Jewish race on Earth "Goyin."
07:57Therefore, Goyin people have no value in this world.
08:01There is only one superior race.
08:03He is also of Jewish descent.
08:05And then they came up with this nonsense that the entire human family was sent by God to serve this superior race, Judaism.
08:15They removed it.
08:16But unfortunately, my brothers and sisters...
08:18While they put forward this idea of a superior race, there are also those who say, "I am a Muslim,"
08:24What have people who say, "I believe in God, I believe in the Prophet," sometimes done?
08:30They have begun to see this Jewish racism among their own Turkish people as well.
08:35What could a man possibly write on top of a mountain where there are no Kurds, for example?
08:40For example, they can write "I am proud to be a Turk."
08:43Or perhaps there was such a ridiculous myth 10 or 15 years ago.
08:48There's this ridiculous thing called an oath where kids stand in the schoolyard every day and say things like "I am Turkish, I am righteous," right?
08:56Just because a person is Turkish doesn't mean they're always right.
09:00It's not right to be wrong just because someone is Kurdish.
09:03A person is right simply because he or she is a Muslim.
09:08But unfortunately, this racist mentality has infiltrated our society as well, hasn't it?
09:13Sometimes our nationalist sentiments flare up, and we tell ourselves that if a caliph doesn't emerge from the Turks, we will never pledge allegiance to him.
09:21If a caliph emerges from among the Arabs, or from a Pashtun in Afghanistan, then the flag has fallen from here, and the flag has been raised from somewhere else.
09:31I will not pledge allegiance to someone who is a caliph.
09:33Just because we think the caliph must be from the Turks, sometimes our nationalist, even racist, tendencies flare up.
09:42My brothers and sisters, may God protect us from such things.
09:45Look, my brothers, after the Republic was declared, this Turkish nationalist fascism went so far that these people even desecrated the tomb of Mimar Sinan...
09:57They took out the skull, measured it, and then said that those whose skulls fit the measurements were Turks, and those whose skulls did not fit were not Turks.
10:08They categorized people like that because they were an inferior race.
10:11So much so that, my brothers, when a 14-year-old Kurd named Ali came to the Independence Courts, the judge asked him his name and he replied, "What is your name?"
10:22When asked what it was, the child said "I don't know Turkish," so it seems he didn't know Turkish from the start.
10:29It has been decided that the defendant will be executed and the evidence will be collected later. Unfortunately, in this country, 14-year-old children are being killed in the name of Turkish nationalism.
10:41My brothers were hanged on the gallows in the Independence Courts.
10:45Look, my brothers and sisters, from the time the Republic was declared in 1923 until 1946, Atatürk Boulevard in Kızılay Square in Ankara...
11:00'It was forbidden for Kurds wearing baggy trousers to enter, my brothers.'
11:05Why? Because there were consulates there, or rather, foreign consulates, and they were afraid that these Kurds, these men in baggy trousers and hats, might be seen.
11:15Because of this inferiority complex, fearing that people will see them and think they belong to an inferior race, what have they done to the Kurds in this country?
11:25They constantly humiliated them. My brothers and sisters, in the religion brought by our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), race, blood, and lineage are never considered.
11:36In the sight of God, a person's lineage, ancestry, or bloodline is of no importance. What matters is their faith in God and their piety towards God.
11:46My dear brothers and sisters, what was the first thing our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did after conquering Mecca?
11:54What would be the first thing a prophet, sent to reject idols and destroy false gods, possibly do?
12:04Of course, it could be about destroying idols; he took two people with him and went directly to the Kaaba to destroy the 360 idols inside.
12:13He turned towards '...'
12:13Allahu Akbar. This religion begins with destroying idols, my brothers and sisters.
12:19It doesn't start with praying, it doesn't start with fasting, it doesn't start with going on pilgrimage, it doesn't start with giving alms, and so on.
12:25This religion begins with breaking idols. It begins with saying no to idols and ideologies, and raising the banner of rebellion.
12:34Our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) took two people with him when he went to destroy those idols.
12:39One is Bilal al-Habashi, and the other is Usama ibn Zayd, may Allah be pleased with him.
12:45And my brothers, Bilal and Usama entered the Kaaba and destroyed all the idols that were there.
12:53Look, we're talking about a prophet who gave 18-year-old boys axes and taught them to destroy idols.
13:00But unfortunately, in our society, instead of giving our children axes to tear down idols, we...
13:08God forbid, we are teaching people to erect the idol of the LGS exam, we are teaching people to win the idol of the KPSS exam.
13:14Or what do we do with the idol of passing the YKS AYT university entrance exam?
13:20We confront them, and the children constantly strive to overcome these idols.
13:26Or are they becoming a generation that constantly worships idols other than God in order to make them acceptable to these idols?
13:34Really?
13:35So, when a child fails the university entrance exam, they start to lose their temper.
13:40When a student doesn't achieve good results on the LGS exam, they fall into a psychological crisis.
13:45What's the distinguishing feature of all of these, my brothers?
13:48So it seems that, unfortunately, as a society, we are teaching our children to destroy idols, just as our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) taught 18-year-old Usamas to do.
13:59Instead of teaching them how to tear down idols, we've tried to teach them how to erect enormous idols.
14:05So, my brothers and sisters, we've created this idol that says if you don't get into university, you'll starve.
14:10So, unfortunately, we've created an idol of the state, based on the idea that you'll starve if the state doesn't pay you a salary.
14:17We have created a salary idol.
14:19If you don't become an academic, complete your associate professorship thesis, or become a full professor, unfortunately, they won't take you seriously.
14:27We've created an idol of reputation, believing that it will utterly destroy one's own standing.
14:31But unfortunately, we don't see these things, my brothers and sisters.
14:35May God grant each of us the ability to see these things and raise generations who will destroy these idols.
14:44Look, brothers and sisters, why am I saying this?
14:47So, in order for you to raise these generations, in order for us to raise these generations, in order to produce generations that break idols, the first task is for mothers.
14:57And it starts with us, as fathers.
14:58So don't expect a child who has eaten or been fed something at Burger King to demolish idols.
15:07Or you can't expect a child you've taken to Starbucks for coffee to demolish the idol of the KPSS exam or worldly idols.
15:15Why is it that some people in this country still say, regarding boycotts, "What difference will it make if I do it?" my brothers and sisters?
15:23Because he has parents who taught him how to erect idols, not how to tear them down.
15:29Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, just as our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, taught 18-year-old Usamas how to destroy idols,
15:37Therefore, if we want to transform this era and this civilization, we need to teach our children to tear down idols, not to erect them.
15:47My brothers, after our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) conquered Mecca, he stayed in Mecca for 2-3 days and visited the Banu Mahsun.
15:56A woman from his tribe committed theft.
16:00And they immediately came and said, "Let's go and speak with Usama, who is known as the beloved of the Messenger of Allah, and let's make Usama an intermediary."
16:09Let's say to Osama,
16:10The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) loves you very much; you are his beloved. Go and make a request regarding this woman from the Beni Mahsun tribe who committed theft.
16:19Find him so that Islam doesn't cut off his hand.
16:22And my brothers, how sad it is that Usama ibn Zayd, having fallen into a state of heedlessness, came to our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and made such a proposal.
16:31It has been found.
16:32Ravi, while recounting the event, says, "By God, the vein on the forehead of our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, swelled up so much..."
16:40When Osama bin Zayd saw that vein bulging, he said, "I wish I could have swallowed up and disappeared rather than make such an offer."
16:49Allahu Akbar! Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Do you know why the nations before you perished?"
16:57By God, he said, they are doomed because they apply God's law to the poor among themselves but do not apply God's law to the aristocrats and the rich in their affairs.
17:11"It happened," my brothers said.
17:12And he said, "Even if my daughter Fatima were to commit theft, by God, I would cut off her hand."
17:22he said.
17:22Here is a prophet to whom the law was sent, and who stated that even if one of his own relatives committed theft, he would cut off their hand.
17:32A prophet who declared to us that he would not allow any sentimentality in this matter and would act according to his principles.
17:40My brothers, look, there is such negligence here that this negligence is actually an act of disbelief.
17:48Even though Allah has specified the punishment for greed in Surah Al-Maidah, a Companion like Usama ibn Zayd came and said...
17:56To say such a thing or make such a proposal to our Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) is an act of disbelief.
18:02But our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said that because of such negligence,
18:10My brothers, he did not insult him or declare him an infidel by saying, "You committed this act of disbelief, therefore you have become an unbeliever, an infidel," and so on.
18:18So, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) got angry with him because he might have been caught off guard at that moment.
18:24But Usama bin Zayd never again engaged in such an act or made such a proposal.
18:29So, when we look at it from this perspective, Usama bin Zayd said that day that there was a divine decree.
18:35He suggested that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) should make an exception for a woman and not apply that ruling to her.
18:43So what about us, in our own little world, our tiny world, at home, among our friends?
18:50Are we following the divine law that God sent, my brothers and sisters?
18:54When the divine law sent by God tells us something, do we simply say "yes" and bow our heads, my brothers and sisters?
19:04We're not doing it, are we? Just a little bit.
19:07So, let's leave the implementation of God's law to the democrats,
19:11Let the aristocrats enforce God's law.
19:14But God's law should not be applied when it comes to the relationship between husband and wife.
19:20Could something like this really happen, my brothers?
19:23Look, Allah Almighty says in verse 59 of Surah An-Nisa:
19:28"O you who believe," it says, "when a dispute arises among you, refer to Allah, the Messenger, and those in authority among you."
19:37Allahu Akbar! Is there any disagreement among us, any trouble between us?
19:42If there is a dispute between husband and wife, then let us go to God, to the Prophet.
19:46If we cannot physically approach God or the Prophet,
19:50then appointed by God and the Prophet,
19:53For example, can we appear before a fair referee?
19:58We can't get out, can we?
20:00When there is a disagreement between two believers,
20:03Let's go before a fair judge.
20:06If the referee is fair,
20:08If Ahmet says you're wrong,
20:10Let me apologize to you,
20:12May God forgive me too.
20:14When we say there should be as much peace between you as you want her to forgive you,
20:17Are people coming, for example?
20:20For example, if someone tells us to believe in God and the Prophet,
20:23When he calls to the law of God,
20:25Are we coming, brothers?
20:26We're not coming, are we?
20:28And that's why we didn't come,
20:31Look, our Lord says in verse 61 of Surah An-Nisa,
20:35He makes a threat and says,
20:37O my prophet, he says,
20:38When called upon to believe in Allah and His Messenger,
20:42Only hypocrites will turn away from you, he says.
20:46So it's just a sign of hypocrisy,
20:48not lying,
20:50It's not about betraying the trust you placed in him,
20:53I'll go and tell your secret somewhere,
20:55It's not about someone exposing it,
20:57and also a sign of hypocrisy,
20:59Even though you call the man to God and the Prophet,
21:03If the man doesn't come,
21:04This, too, is a sign of hypocrisy, my brothers.
21:07Allahu Akbar.
21:08Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters,
21:10before Sharia law,
21:12the day we bow our heads,
21:14We have become complete Muslims.
21:16When Sharia tells us something,
21:18Okay, alright, I accept that.
21:22If I'm wrong, I admit my mistake.
21:24the day we said
21:26We are true Muslims, my brothers.
21:28But when it comes to inheritance,
21:30in the case of divorce,
21:32in social events,
21:33Unfortunately, even though Sharia law is calling us,
21:36How many of us are going to the Sharia, my brothers?
21:39We're not going, are we?
21:40But the modern legal system,
21:42to the nonsense he put forward,
21:44fabrications,
21:45What can we do to the courts?
21:46Apply immediately,
21:48What can we do?
21:49We can apply.
21:50But can such a thing be called Islam?
21:52Is such faith even possible?
21:54Even to what God has brought,
21:55unbelievers
21:57He did not accept them,
21:58we Muslims,
21:59Can we truly be Muslim?
22:01We can't.
22:02Then, my dear brothers and sisters,
22:04If we are in such situations,
22:05Let's try to fix it.
22:07Two brothers came to visit me the other day.
22:10They said,
22:11We have a disagreement among ourselves.
22:13related to us,
22:14They asked, "Can you help us?"
22:17I said okay.
22:18But I said,
22:19If after I listen to you,
22:21You are wrong.
22:23If I say you're right,
22:25If you object to what I'm saying in any way,
22:28Make me the referee,
22:29If you won't listen to me later,
22:31I told them not to come.
22:32And my dear brothers and sisters,
22:34"Okay, boss," they said.
22:35They came like this,
22:36They were so full of hatred for each other,
22:38They had become so hateful,
22:39How wonderful!
22:40How beautiful is the beauty of Islam.
22:42Someone told me,
22:43Then I said, "Now you tell me some stories."
22:45He told me too,
22:46Then I said,
22:47"My dear brother," I said,
22:48You have wronged this brother of yours.
22:51I told you to apologize for this.
22:52Honestly, my brothers apologized without any hesitation.
22:57"We are men who believe in God," he said.
22:59If you are teaching,
23:01"Okay, I apologize," he said.
23:03I said to him too,
23:03You too, my dear brother,
23:05If you want God to forgive you,
23:07I told him to forgive his brother as well.
23:10He said, "I forgive him, and so do I."
23:12And they hugged,
23:13They embraced,
23:14And then they said,
23:16Honestly, between us...
23:18"A stronger bond of friendship has formed, brother," they said.
23:20From where?
23:20What if we submit to Sharia law?
23:23If we submit to the religion of God,
23:25let us put our ego under our feet,
23:27He takes it like a doormat,
23:28where we made a mistake,
23:30I made a mistake,
23:31If we say "I'm sorry,"
23:33May God resolve all our disagreements.
23:36What do my brothers do?
23:37It solves it.
23:37But as long as we don't agree to this,
23:40Hatreds also increase,
23:42Atrocities also increase.
23:43May my Lord be like the state of those believers who have such faith.
23:48morality for us too,
23:49May God grant us good character as well.
23:51My brothers and sisters are like that,
23:53Look, our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him,
23:55One day he received a gift from Yemen,
23:58He summoned Usama bin Zayd,
23:59Usama said,
24:00He said, "Come."
24:01She said a dress was brought to me,
24:02"I'm giving you this dress as a gift," she said.
24:05Usama bin Zayd,
24:06She bought that dress,
24:07He came to prayer one time wearing that outfit,
24:10Then our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him,
24:12He was so happy to see her in that dress.
24:14Remember when he gave a gift?
24:16She wore it because it was a gift.
24:18And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw it too,
24:21Therefore, he was very happy.
24:22And then at another time,
24:25When Usama bin Zayd arrived without wearing that garment,
24:28The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
24:30Usama said,
24:31What did you do with the gift I gave you?
24:33O Messenger of Allah, he said,
24:34I once heard something like this from you,
24:37You said that,
24:39the gift,
24:40I heard someone say that it is also a sunnah (recommended practice) to give the gift to someone else.
24:44"I also gave this gift to my wife, O Messenger of Allah," he said.
24:48The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
24:50"You did a great job, Usama," he said.
24:51but he said,
24:52"Let me tell you something," he said.
24:54"Shall I give you some advice?" he said.
24:57"Find me, O Messenger of Allah," he said.
24:58The dress I gave you,
25:00It was very thin.
25:02Therefore, a person's inner side might be a little more apparent.
25:05So please tell your wife to put it inside,
25:08Before putting on that dress,
25:10She should wear an outfit that doesn't show what's underneath.
25:13Allahu Akbar.
25:14So, our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him,
25:17Through Usama bin Zayed's wife,
25:20Today, we also discuss how women should dress.
25:23My brothers have declared this to us.
25:24But unfortunately, today there are feminists who say "I am a Muslim" and who do not see the hijab as an obligation,
25:33Unfortunately, women who see it as a style often end up wearing tight hairstyles.
25:38They made the buns like camel humps,
25:43Or, unfortunately, my sisters, we see them walking around flirting with men while wearing high heels, don't we?
25:50Allahu Akbar.
25:51If our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had seen this,
25:55Would my brothers be pleased with this at all?
25:58Or imagine this,
25:59a Muslim man,
26:01Perhaps the most beautiful outfit his wife will ever wear in her life,
26:05Dress her in it on her wedding day,
26:07Later, he posed for a picture with his wife while wearing this outfit.
26:11If those who shared it on social media had seen it,
26:15Would the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) be pleased with this, my brothers?
26:18Allahu Akbar.
26:19So, are all the misfortunes that befall us due to the actions of the Zionists?
26:25Are all these troubles we're facing due to the tricks played by imperialists?
26:30It's not at all about our own internal tendency towards Judaization,
26:34or because of our tendency towards Christianization,
26:37Shouldn't we consider that we have experienced this humiliation?
26:39May Allah grant us wisdom, understanding, and the teachings of our Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).
26:47May Allah grant each of us the grace to be among the believers who give advice to our wives and daughters.
26:53My brothers and sisters, it has reached the year 11 AH, and our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, has reached his deathbed.
26:58So much so that when he was on his deathbed, he appointed Usa bin Zeyd, who was 18 years old at the time, as the commander of the army, and he led this army under the command of Allah (sallallahu).
27:08Our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sent them to Byzantium.
27:11So, there is a prophet who encouraged his companions to fight in jihad even in the face of death.
27:17Some people say that he was a prophet of roses, a prophet of peace, not a prophet of war, and so on, but that's a lie, my brothers and sisters.
27:27Our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, was a prophet of war who sent his army to jihad even while in his death throes.
27:35But unfortunately, today there are those who are turning him from a prophet of war into an ambassador of peace.
27:43There are those who compare him to a prophet who throws roses at everyone, at communists, Kemalists, secularists, and even polytheists, aren't there?
27:53Yes, our prophet was a prophet of peace, but to describe a prophet only in terms of peace is incomplete, my brothers and sisters.
28:01That prophet also had a military side, which needs to be explained as well.
28:05But they didn't talk about its war aspect, and they disarmed the Muslims, right?
28:11A man came forward and said, "Peace at home, peace in the world," and they disarmed the Muslims.
28:17Let me ask you, how many of us know how to use a rifle, for example?
28:22How many of us, for example, know how to use a gun?
28:25If a war broke out with Israel right here, we wouldn't be able to run 10 kilometers, my brothers.
28:30Why did they confine us to these capitalist, modernist homes, these palaces, and turn us into pleasure-seeking people, right?
28:41Allahu Akbar.
28:42So, if you remove jihad from this religion, what have you done to this religion?
28:47You would have destroyed it.
28:49That's why the poet said it so beautifully.
28:52"If you want world peace," he said, "be prepared for war."
28:57So if you want peace at home, if you want peace in the world, you have to be prepared for war.
29:05You have to be ready for jihad.
29:07But unfortunately, my dear brothers and sisters, they have so corrupted these concepts that when people hear the word jihad, they think of beheading and dismembering.
29:17They also brought back the practice of burning people alive, didn't they?
29:21When we hear the word "religious community," they make us think of people who steal exam questions, like those who steal police exam questions. How have they always distorted the meaning of our concepts?
29:30They evacuated.
29:31The man even named his child Hezbollah.
29:34What does Hezbollah mean?
29:35Even though it means "soldier of God," the man complains so much about this name that he asks, "Why are they changing their children's names, my brothers?"
29:45He changes his name to Hüseyin.
29:47They distorted the concepts so much that, unfortunately, someone exploited a beautiful name like Fethullah in this country.
29:54This man can change a beautiful name like Fethullah into something called Fethiye.
29:59Or, my brothers, they can translate it as "Fethiye".
30:01From where?
30:02Because they have abused our concepts.
30:04That's why we need to embrace these concepts.
30:07We need to explain these concepts to people in a clear and understandable way before someone exploits them.
30:14Don't forget, my brothers and sisters.
30:15Aristotle says, look, he's asked a question: if you wanted to restart the world, if you had such a power, that is, to reset history...
30:28If he had the opportunity to rebuild the world, what would he do first? Aristotle says, "I would change the concepts."
30:38I would rebuild it.
30:40Because people think in concepts, people perceive in words, right?
30:45Therefore, my brothers and sisters, we must never allow anyone to destroy our concepts.
30:53Look, my dear brothers and sisters.
30:54So Usama bin Zayed took command of the army, but he was only 18 years old and some people had already started criticizing him.
31:02First, Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "This child," he said, "can we march against Byzantium with him?"
31:09Can he become an army commander?
31:10When such and such was said, our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gathered those who made these criticisms together with Omar.
31:17He said, "I swear, I made the same criticism when I sent his father to Mute as a commander."
31:25"Leave these criticisms aside," he said, "even if an Ethiopian slave is appointed as your imam or commander, obey him."
31:35My brothers and sisters, our Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) made the following statement.
31:41So what lessons can we learn from this?
31:43How significant is it to entrust an army, which belonged to the families of Abu Bakr, Omar, and Osman, to an 18-year-old boy?
31:53to do.
31:53Allahu Akbar! So, a prophet who entrusted the army to an 18-year-old, unfortunately, we have someone here in a house who can't even entrust a car.
32:04We have children that we couldn't leave behind with their siblings, my brothers and sisters.
32:09So how did our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) instill this sense of responsibility in them?
32:15So you're becoming the commander, be the commander, did he also take on responsibility, my brothers?
32:19So, he gave them the responsibility of going to jihad, did they all immediately go to jihad too?
32:23No, my brothers and sisters, one of the most important educational methodologies of our Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) is to give responsibility to someone, to young people, to children, before giving them responsibility.
32:34It raised awareness.
32:37You don't give responsibility to someone who lacks awareness.
32:41What does awareness mean?
32:43Consciousness, my brothers and sisters, consciousness.
32:44No matter how much knowledge you have, it's meaningless without awareness.
32:50At home, you tell your child, "Make your bed, my child, hold the spoon in your right hand, my child, as much as you want."
32:58This is like burdening her with responsibility on her day, but without giving her any awareness.
33:02We must raise awareness in children before giving them responsibilities.
33:07Before we instruct our child to pray in congregation, let him first see us praying in congregation with our wife at home so that awareness is created.
33:18And let him fulfill his own sense of responsibility.
33:21Isn't it?
33:21So, my younger siblings who see their parents organizing things at home gain this awareness, this consciousness.
33:29Then, when you tell him to, he will fulfill that responsibility.
33:33Unfortunately, we tell our children something, but when they don't do it, we ask, "Why didn't you do it?"
33:39We scold the child, saying things like, "How many times have I told you?"
33:43So there's nothing to scold the child for.
33:45A child learns in order to learn something.
33:48What does he do with what he learned later?
33:50He feels the urge to stop immediately.
33:52Because God created him with that nature, my brothers and sisters.
33:56He gets bored of repeating what he's learned.
33:59But if that child starts doing it with that feeling, with that awareness, before their learning consciousness develops, then it becomes a moral habit for them.
34:07Therefore, we must educate our children before giving them information.
34:12We need to be parents who raise awareness in children before giving them responsibilities.
34:18And here, my brothers and sisters, our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave us another piece of advice and guidance.
34:23"Even if your leader is an Ethiopian slave, obey him," he said to my brothers.
34:29Isn't that incredibly wise?
34:31So, even if a negative outcome results from a decision made after a consultation,
34:38Do not say, "I said that, but you did this," says the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
34:43Even if that consultation resulted in a negative outcome.
34:47Didn't our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, command us to do this, my brothers?
34:52Therefore, we should listen to the words of our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him.
34:56In other words, to be among the believers who listen to a religious scholar or teacher and heed his words when he is a learned person.
35:06Let us pray that God will grant us all such faith and endow us with it, God willing.
35:12Look, my brothers, the army of our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him...
35:15The army led by Osama had reached a place called Juruht.
35:19And he waited there in case Usama ibn Zayd (peace and blessings be upon him) might die.
35:24Perhaps I would like to attend the funeral of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) if he were to die.
35:28Then look, our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) is living his final moments.
35:33And he asks, "My brothers, has Osama's army moved?"
35:37"Has it moved?" my brothers are asking.
35:39Allahu Akbar.
35:41So what kind of prophet do we have?
35:43In other words, he who did not mention prayer, zakat, or pilgrimage to his community in its final moments.
35:49We are talking about a prophet who spoke about and was curious about the jihad of his community.
35:55Look, my dear brothers and sisters, do you know why this nation is currently in a state of humiliation?
36:00Because they took away jihad and ishtahad from this ummah for two reasons.
36:06We are currently experiencing this humiliation, my brothers and sisters.
36:08Because we did not wage jihad, because we gave up the struggle in the way of Allah.
36:14Because we have fears in the path of Allah, or because we don't have them.
36:17Unfortunately, we are not waging jihad right now because we fear others but not God.
36:24And the Muslim community is therefore experiencing this humiliation.
36:27And unfortunately, the second one is what our scholars have called "ijtihad" (independent reasoning).
36:30Unfortunately, my brothers and sisters, they are trying to impose the jurisprudence of the Muslim community from 14 centuries ago on modern tea.
36:38simply because we brought the ashes from there here, but not the embers.
36:42What is the Muslim community doing right now? It's suffering from an intellectual syndrome.
36:46Unfortunately, this is also why we have pyramid-shaped children.
36:51Our Islamic movements are emerging into the world through the pyramid.
36:54And that is why our nation is experiencing this humiliation.
36:57May God grant this nation the spirit of jihad once again, the spirit to struggle, to strive, and to show determination.
37:04Again, it will pave the way for this nation, it will lead the nation to make informed decisions, it will open up the nation's intellectual path.
37:10Let us pray that God will raise scholars from among us, God willing.
37:14My brothers and sisters, look, our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, has passed away.
37:18Then, shortly after his death, there was the issue of those who apostatized from religion, which we can call Ridda.
37:23Our Prophet Abu Bakr started a war.
37:25Umar came and said, "Abu Bakr," and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "look..."
37:31He sent this army, along with Osama, against Byzantium.
37:34But there are those who have apostatized from the religion.
37:36Therefore, he said, let's not send the army against Byzantium.
37:39When Abu Bakr suggested that they should lead these apostasy wars, he said:
37:44"No," says Omar, "I cannot contradict the words of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)."
37:49And then Omar sees that Abu Bakr is so determined.
37:53"Well," says Abu Bakr, "since that's the case, since we are going to send this army against Byzantium,"
37:58"At least let's remove Osama from command of the army," he says, "my brothers."
38:03Allahu Akbar.
38:03And Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him), the narrator says, was a little shorter than Umar, and Umar was much taller than him.
38:13Then he said, "O Umar, you were a brave man in the Age of Ignorance, but have you become a coward in Islam?"
38:23"He grabbed his beard and shook him," my brothers say.
38:28Allahu Akbar.
38:29So, if there is a saying of our master, Hazrat Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him), or of our master, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him),
38:37Even if this statement were to lead us towards the abyss,
38:42Even if it hadn't been rational, as the modernists had said,
38:45We have to follow that promise, my brothers.
38:49But unfortunately, as Abu Bakr said that day,
38:53So, we've become cowards in the name of Islam, haven't we?
38:55Hey, there's this guy they call Selo Başkan, you know, the former chairman of HDP,
39:01The man told everything, didn't he?
39:03"You are all followers of Atatürk," he said to the Kemalists.
39:06"We will get President Apo out of prison," he said.
39:10They're taking him away and building him a two-story villa, right?
39:15And he said we will erect a statue of President Apo,
39:17The man never thought of this,
39:19I am the co-chair of HDP,
39:22They'll take away my co-chairmanship,
39:24They will take away my parliamentary immunity.
39:26My brothers weren't afraid at all, even if they sent them to Silivri or something.
39:29My siblings were never afraid that they would separate me from my children or from my wife.
39:34But strangely enough,
39:36As Muslims, while this man acts so boldly in his false cause,
39:40By God, we Muslims cannot show the same courage he showed in his false cause, my brothers.
39:46I am in the right, but falsehood is bolder than me.
39:51I'm telling the truth, but the one lying acts more heroically than me.
39:56Shouldn't I be acting more heroically?
40:00Will my truths not lead me to paradise in the afterlife?
40:04Isn't God on my side?
40:06Behind it are the PYD and the PKK.
40:09while there is a terrorist organization behind it,
40:12He can say these things while relying on this terrorist organization,
40:17Even though the Lord of the worlds is behind me, I...
40:20I can't say a single word to the Kemalists and the secularists, my brothers.
40:23No, I can't say that your understanding of secularism is wrong.
40:26I cannot say that your democracy is a corporation.
40:29You have a system that denies the verses that God has sent down from heaven,
40:34I can't say "yours," for example, can I?
40:36I swear I will remain loyal to so-and-so's principles and reforms,
40:40And what are they doing to me?
40:41They're trying to make us swear an oath, aren't they, my dear brothers and sisters?
40:45Allahu Akbar, if we are not courageous,
40:48If we are to be the fear of Islam,
40:50Just like Abu Bakr grabbed Umar by the beard,
40:53If he had come today,
40:55from our beards, from our arms,
40:57Wouldn't my brothers lend us a hand too?
40:59May Allah grant us the courage of our master Abu Bakr.
41:06And may Allah make us commanders like Usama bin Zayd, who will be the leaders of this ummah, God willing.
41:12My brothers and sisters are like that,
41:14Look at this army of our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him,
41:17Abu Bakr valued his army so much that...
41:21Abu Bakr escorted Usama ibn Zayd all the way to the outskirts of Medina.
41:25Ravi narrates, saying that Abu Bakr is downstairs.
41:29Usama bin Zayd on horseback,
41:31that is, the commander of the army,
41:33Even the Caliph of the Ummah is on the ground.
41:36Usama bin Zayd showed good manners.
41:38He said, O Abu Bakr,
41:39"You," he said, "are the first of this nation, its caliph."
41:43Come, mount the horse,
41:44When I said I would walk on the ground,
41:46Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) said:
41:48Usama said,
41:49"I want my feet to be covered in dust in the path of God," he said.
41:54And he said to Usama bin Zayd,
41:58When you go to a place where you will face people you will fight against,
42:02like a declaration of the laws of war,
42:05He said, "Hey Usama, be careful!"
42:08He said, "Don't kill the women."
42:10"Whatever you do, don't harm the children," he said.
42:13"Whatever you do," he said, "don't do anything to the elderly."
42:16Don't touch the trees,
42:17He said, "Don't damage the seedlings."
42:19And he said, O Usama,
42:21If you are from a place you have been to,
42:23If the call to prayer is heard,
42:25Don't you dare raid that place,
42:28He stated these things to her.
42:30The person who prepared this universal declaration of the laws of war,
42:35May the ears of today's imperialists ring.
42:38This is what Islam is like, my brothers and sisters.
42:40when he wanted to go to war,
42:43not to conquer territories,
42:45to win hearts,
42:47not to kill people,
42:50We are talking about a religion that fights to resurrect and give life to people.
42:55May God be eternally pleased with them.
42:59And my dear brothers and sisters,
43:00so much so that,
43:01Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him),
43:04a soldier in that army,
43:06Osama's soldier, who is 18 years old.
43:09Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him),
43:11He says,
43:11O Osama says,
43:12"At least you're taking the army to Byzantium," he says.
43:14May I ask you a small favor?
43:17Can you leave Ömer with me?
43:19he says.
43:20The Caliph of the vast nation,
43:23from a child who is several years younger than himself,
43:26Just because he's the commander,
43:27simply because the prophet appointed him as imam,
43:30He was someone who had asked for permission from her.
43:32What do we call this?
43:33We call it humility.
43:35We're talking about humility, aren't we?
43:37What do we call this?
43:38We're talking about manners.
43:39God grants this humility,
43:41this humility,
43:42to be among the believers who win this literary prize,
43:44May it be granted to each of us.
43:47My brothers and sisters,
43:48so much so that,
43:48Our master Ali (may Allah be pleased with him),
43:50you know,
43:51At Camel,
43:52In Siffin,
43:52Wars happened and the ummah,
43:54Great bloodshed occurred.
43:56Usa bin Zeyd,
43:57He says to our master Ali (may Allah be pleased with him):
44:00Oh Ali, he says,
44:01I swear, he says.
44:01He says you're right.
44:03You're right about the Battle of Camel,
44:04You're right about Siffin.
44:06but he says,
44:06without me knowing,
44:08mistakenly,
44:08a Muslim,
44:10Because I killed him even though he said "La ilahe illallah" (There is no god but Allah),
44:15no Muslim again,
44:17So that his blood doesn't get on my hands,
44:20He says he can't stand by your side.
44:22He says, "Forgive me."
44:24Our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him,
44:25She was angry with me that day.
44:26Oh Usama,
44:27you,
44:28Did you kill someone who said "La ilahe illallah"?
44:31because she was angry,
44:32So that the blood of a Muslim does not stain my hands again,
44:36He says he won't be participating here.
44:38But just because you're right,
44:39It also proves that he is right.
44:42And he says,
44:42if Ali,
44:44If it had fallen into a lion's mouth,
44:46I swear, he says.
44:47He says this about Ali,
44:48He pulls Ali out of the lion's mouth,
44:51"I would have walked into that lion's mouth myself," he says.
44:53So he's talking about a brotherhood, right?
44:56So that she won't be upset,
44:57I'll continue to be sad.
44:59So that it doesn't get worn out,
45:01"I want to continue to wear myself out,"
45:03He's talking about a brotherhood.
45:05So that he doesn't die,
45:07He's talking about a brotherhood that says, "Let me die instead."
45:10He shouldn't be left penniless.
45:12"Let me be penniless," he says.
45:14He's talking about a brotherhood.
45:16No, right my brothers and sisters?
45:17Such are our brotherhoods?
45:18So even without calling each other on the phone,
45:21We can't even go to our homes, can we?
45:23So, like this,
45:26regardless of what time it is at night,
45:28without even making a phone call,
45:30we can ring the doorbell of
45:32How many friends do we have, my brothers?
45:34Our hugs and all that,
45:35a bit like this,
45:38It's a cliché now, isn't it?
45:39So we don't even hug each other sincerely.
45:43Unfortunately, these feelings of brotherhood...
45:45We lost him, but here is Usama bin Zayed.
45:48again to us,
45:49how to be brothers,
45:51How to love when a person is loved,
45:54My brothers have taught us again.
45:56God has given him this perspective,
45:59the affection he taught us,
46:00May it bring it to each of us.
46:03My dear brothers and sisters,
46:04In the year 54 AH,
46:06Usama bin Zayd,
46:07Our Prophet, may Allah be pleased with him,
46:08He died in Medina.
46:11And he is currently buried in Medina.
46:14My Lord, who takes good examples from him.
46:17the lessons he learned from him,
