00:03I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan. In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
00:07Praise be to Allah, Lord of all worlds.
00:09Assalatu vesselamu ala rasulina Muhammedin ve ala alihi ve eshabihi ecmain.
00:14Indeed, Allah and His angels send blessings upon the Prophet.
00:16Therefore, O people of faith, send blessings and peace upon the Messenger of Allah with complete submission.
00:23My dear fellow believers,
00:26Allah Almighty says in the 3rd verse of Surah Al-Maidah:
00:29I have chosen Islam as my religion and have perfected my faith.
00:34So, there is a verse that says, "I have faith in Him."
00:38My brothers and sisters are like that,
00:40Our scholars have said that Allah Almighty perfected His religion,
00:46He left us a perfect religion.
00:49They said it was through the hand of our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him.
00:51What does it mean for religion to reach perfection or culmination?
00:54So they said that this religion is a mature religion and it is the last universal religion that will come upon humanity.
01:03Our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, conveyed a ruling on every aspect of life through the religion he brought.
01:11So, with this religion that Allah perfected and which our Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) applied to everything from politics to family life,
01:20from economics to finance,
01:22From the etiquette of a mosque to the legal system, our Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him)
01:28He departed from this world without leaving anything vacant in this religion.
01:34And the religion that our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) left us without leaving any gaps is universal.
01:41And our scholars have translated it for us as follows: This is the only valid law of humanity, the law of servitude, in the sight of God until the Day of Judgment.
01:51My brothers and sisters, if we were to start researching the life of our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him,
01:55For example, if we pick up a book on the life of the Prophet,
01:57In your opinion, which aspect of our Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) stands out the most?
02:02For example, if we take Sahih Bukhari, written by Imam Bukhari, in our hands...
02:07And if we were to take, for example, a thousand hadiths transmitted to us from our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, my brothers...
02:13And if we were to take a look at these thousand hadiths,
02:18Which aspect of our Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) prayer identity stands out more?
02:22Does fasting identity come to the forefront more?
02:23Or does the identity of a person who is intelligent and charitable, giving alms, come to the forefront?
02:28Or, when we look at whether the identity of a pilgrim going to Mecca comes to the forefront, my brothers and sisters...
02:34Believe me, the social identity of our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)
02:38It is more prominent in terms of its religious identity.
02:41Isn't prayer a part of this religion?
02:43Yes, prayer is a religious practice, but social life is also an identity of our Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).
02:48Look, his identity as a devout Muslim who prays has become more prominent.
02:53Why? Because social identity and political identity will come to the forefront more.
02:57The ownership of the mosques where prayers will be performed should also belong to our Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).
03:04If the management of mosques and places of worship is not in accordance with the religion brought by our Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him)
03:11At that time, in those mosques, the religion that God desired was to be practiced.
03:16Rather, the religion desired by others begins to be practiced.
03:21Therefore, our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, means...
03:24as a prophet whose social identity was more prominent than his identity in prayer
03:30It was sent to us by Allah Almighty.
03:34Brothers and sisters, why did I feel the need to make such an introduction?
03:38Because today they are trying to transform what is called Islam into a religion of mosques.
03:43Or perhaps because they tried to transform this ideology, which we know today as Islam, into a mosque religion.
03:50I felt the need to make such an introduction.
03:53Let us say it again, our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him.
03:56He was a prophet whose social identity was more prominent than his religious identity.
04:01But what are those who are trying to transform religion into a mosque-based religion trying to achieve today?
04:05They are portraying our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, as such a person that...
04:09They turned him into a prophet who said nothing even to a Muslim who didn't pray.
04:14In fact, out of necessity, we even go and stand in bank queues.
04:18those who buy houses and cars by engaging in interest-bearing transactions
04:22They turned him into a prophet who even threw roses at people who claimed to be Muslim.
04:27So much so that my brothers and sisters, our Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him)
04:31People even organized celebrations of the Prophet's birthday to prevent understanding.
04:36They held a program to commemorate our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him.
04:40But Allah sent this prophet and all the prophets who came before him.
04:44rather than people writing about it in memory books as a memento
04:50Hadn't he sent it so she could understand?
04:52Therefore, in order to separate our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) from that social identity...
04:58What have people done to commemorate him rather than understand him?
05:03They made it cute.
05:05My brothers and sisters, look, even Christians have embraced the religion brought by Jesus Christ.
05:12Didn't they turn the mosque into a religious center?
05:14They even made Jesus Christ the imam of the mosque.
05:18They turned him into a mosque prophet.
05:20He interferes in nothing other than the mosque, and does not interfere in any legal system.
05:25related to matters concerning interactions within life, within social life.
05:31Christians have turned Jesus into a prophet who doesn't express any opinions whatsoever.
05:37So, what does Jesus (peace be upon him) say according to the narrations attributed to him?
05:43He says that if someone slaps you on the right cheek, turn the other cheek and retaliate against that person's cruelty with any resistance.
05:54don't interfere in any way
05:57They would portray Jesus as a prophet who distributes flowers and insects.
06:02However, since our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, was a prophet and a human being within social life...
06:09When a burglar comes to your house and tries to steal your belongings, you intervene.
06:17And if you are killed by that thief, then you will attain the rank and status of a martyr in the sight of God.
06:25My brothers, God commanded us to be socially conscious Muslims who stand against oppression.
06:32But as I said earlier, look at those who made Jesus (peace be upon him) a mosque prophet.
06:37And those who, unfortunately, turned the religion he brought into a mosque religion, in some way...
06:42They instilled in you the idea that when someone oppresses you, you shouldn't speak out against them, you shouldn't raise your voice against them.
06:51In fact, people today are trying to declare Islam, the religion brought by our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), as a religion of peace.
06:59So, our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, is described as the rose prophet,
07:03They created a prophet who holds a rose in his hand and constantly throws roses at everyone: communists, Kemalists, polytheists, infidels, Jews, Christians.
07:13In fact, if we allowed them, they would turn the Rawza-i Mutaharra into a rose-shaped tomb of the Prophet Muhammad, my brothers.
07:21Why? Because they want to reduce his social identity to the mosque.
07:28Those who want him to only preach religion in mosques, only in places of worship, are trying to make him a prophet of roses or an ambassador of peace.
07:38Yes, our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, is the rose prophet.
07:42Yes, she has roses in her hand, and she has thrown roses to people.
07:45But our Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) also had a sword in one hand.
07:50On the day of the Battle of the Trench, when the Qurayza betrayed him, it was Muhammad (peace be upon him) who killed 400 of those treacherous Jewish gangs until morning.
08:00Wasn't it the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)?
08:02To speak of him as a prophet of roses, but not to mention that he held a sword, my brothers, is to cast him out of life and his social identity.
08:13It is nothing more than turning him into a prophet who eliminates [the truth].
08:18Therefore, simply placing a rose in the hand of a prophet and saying that prophet does not have a sword is like taking someone else's sword to the table, my brothers.
08:27Therefore, if a person does not possess swords, iron, or modern weapons as a means of power or justice, then that human family...
08:37He is doomed to eat someone else's sword.
08:40My brothers, this is not the reason for the humiliation we are currently in.
08:45Currently, for the last 100 years, we have been a nation that possesses compassion, but we are not a nation that possesses power.
08:51Yes, 100 years ago, we were distributing both compassion and, with our other hand, justice and power to the world.
08:59But what did the British Freemasons do 100 years ago when they abolished our caliphate?
09:05They cut off one of our hands.
09:06Therefore, currently the Muslim community has become a community that only distributes compassion to humanity.
09:12Because he lacked a hand of justice, they created a prophet who currently has no social identity.
09:17They created a community without a social identity.
09:20Unfortunately, because we lack this sense of justice, what can't we do right now?
09:25We are failing to stand with the oppressed.
09:27We cannot alleviate the suffering of the children in Gaza who have lost limbs.
09:31All we can do from here is threaten Israel.
09:36The most we can do is pray, "Oh God, our brothers and sisters in Gaza are going to die."
09:41We're trying to send flour so that at least they don't starve to death, my brothers.
09:46Why? Because the imperialists and Zionists of the world don't want this nation to have a prophet who represents its social identity.
09:55That is why today they have what they call the moderate Islam project on earth, and even what they call interfaith dialogue.
10:03All these projects are essentially part of a project to make our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, a prophet of the mosque, my brothers.
10:11Yes, they say that our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) loved children very much, he never beat his wives, he never yelled at them, and he never got that angry with any of his wives, and so on.
10:20Do Muslims really say that their prophet beat children?
10:24Do Muslims actually say that our Prophet treated his wives badly?
10:28No, no Muslim says that. Yes, we also say that our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) loved children and treated women well, but...
10:36Did our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) accomplish these good deeds without dealing with disbelievers like Abu Jahl?
10:43Did Umayyad treat the children well without fighting the successors?
10:48Therefore, by highlighting the compassionate aspect of our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and not highlighting his just aspect,
10:56To simply declare him a prophet of peace and diminish his social standing is like breaking a bird's only wing, my brothers.
11:05Can a bird fly with only one wing? No, it cannot.
11:08If someone keeps talking about our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, being the Prophet of Roses, the Prophet of Peace, the Messenger of Peace,
11:17And if someone says somewhere that this is the only characteristic of a prophet, know that they will not let this bird fly, my brothers.
11:24If they don't allow you to talk about the jihad brought by this prophet, if they don't let you mention it, know that just as a bird cannot fly with only one wing,
11:33Therefore, a religion that has compassion but lacks justice will not be able to prevail on Earth.
11:42Look, my brothers, it's so important that we have Imam Abu Hanifa, may Allah have mercy on him, as our school of thought's imam, right?
11:49Right now, perhaps 90% of the people in our country who say they are Muslim are subject to this, aren't they?
11:54We have agreed on a sect, haven't we?
11:58Have you ever wondered why, for example, Imam Abu Hanifa (may Allah have mercy on him) was martyred?
12:04For example, could you say that he was martyred because of matters related to labor?
12:10Was Imam Abu Hanifa (may Allah have mercy on him) martyred because of the fatwas he issued on matters concerning the rights of the people?
12:17Or were my brothers martyred because of some political statements they made in social life?
12:24Explaining the jurisprudence of Imam Abu Hanifa and highlighting how valuable and beautiful some of the practical applications he provided are.
12:33I wish our teachers had told us about this.
12:35It would have been nice if they had also told us a little about why Imam Abu Hanifa (may Allah have mercy on him) was martyred.
12:42More than loving our Imam solely for the fatwas he issued in practice, I wish we could reveal his social identity, which was the reason for his martyrdom.
12:52because he revealed his political identity, because he offered advice to tyrannical rulers and those in power.
13:01I wish they had also explained that he was martyred because he did not follow their instructions.
13:07But why don't they explain it? Because, as I said, how can they confine the prophet of this religion only to the mosque?
13:14Religious teachings should only be given inside the mosque; they should not be given outside the mosque.
13:20Those who want to cover this up so that God's will is not done in social life and social law.
13:26Similarly, why was Imam Abu Hanifa, may Allah have mercy on him, martyred?
13:32My brothers and sisters, they don't explain that he was martyred because of his social identity, because of his political identity.
13:38Allahu Akbar.
13:39Remember what Kenan Evren said after he staged the 1980 coup?
13:43He said that if the Imam preached religious teachings in the mosque, he wouldn't say anything to him, he would applaud him.
13:49But whenever the Imam steps outside the mosque or prayer hall and begins to preach religion...
13:55He said, "Then I'll crush his head," and that's exactly how it is, my brothers.
14:00The religion they wanted was one in which the Christian world distorted Jesus Christ.
14:06The religious understanding they fabricated, according to them, is one that doesn't interfere with people, but is solely between God and the individual.
14:13Therefore, Islam is not such a religion.
14:15Our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, was not that kind of person either.
14:19Therefore, our Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) stood out because of his social identity.
14:24My siblings have always faced problems in their lives.
14:27So, Islam, which we call a religion of peace, yes, Islam brings peace to the hearts, but...
14:32When you embrace Islam, all your worldly peace begins to disappear.
14:36Your friends drift away from you, your spouse sometimes drifts away from you.
14:40When you begin to become a true Muslim, your family and relatives may sometimes even become your enemies.
14:49Therefore, in this socially oriented religion brought by our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)
14:54The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not give us a garden paved with roses, my brothers.
14:58So he didn't tell us we were going to have a sweet life.
15:02And all the prophets, in the cause for which they came, endured suffering, torture, and hardship, and they persevered.
15:11Imagine, for example, that Gabriel will come to the mosque in a moment, to the side of our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him.
15:17A man took off his pants in the mosque and started urinating, my brothers.
15:21And our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Cover the place where this man urinated with earth."
15:27Our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) went and took spoils of war from a battle.
15:31After they had taken the spoils, a man named Dhul-Huwaysira appeared.
15:35Because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) distributed these spoils to poor people,
15:39"O Muhammad," he said, "be just, be just."
15:41Look, even though our Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) was a prophet himself...
15:46My brothers, who were warned to be just by people who said, "I am one of your companions."
15:52Some of them have displayed such cruel behavior.
15:57Or consider this: Allah Almighty, in His book, said that our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, should not be offended.
16:02So that she won't be upset, so that she won't be hurt, so that I don't offend her, so that I don't break her heart.
16:07The Quran never once says "O Muhammad."
16:11But what did he say? He said, "O my Prophet," he said, "O my Messenger," he said, "O my Messenger."
16:17But then a man came along, one of the Bedouin Arabs,
16:21They stood in front of the door of our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him.
16:24"Oh Muhammad, oh Muhammad, come outside and let's talk," he said.
16:28So, God, to put it figuratively, felt ashamed to address him as "O Muhammad."
16:33But some Bedouins, some Arab Bedouins, came,
16:36He addressed our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) as "O Muhammad."
16:40What does this show?
16:40So, it seems that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) had more to it than just a religious identity.
16:45Their social identity has become more prominent.
16:48And in social life, our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was always dealing with some kind of difficulty.
16:53Immediately after his death, his companions also, as soon as he died,
16:57Problems started 10 minutes later.
16:59So how did the problems start?
17:01My brothers have disagreed amongst themselves about who will be the Caliph.
17:05Imagine, for example, when our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed away,
17:08Since the companions of the Prophet were also dealing with these difficulties, a man came along and said,
17:12"I am Muhammad," he said.
17:14Hundreds of prophets have appeared.
17:15And a lot of people have abandoned their religion.
17:18Our master Abu Bakr Radiyallahu Anh,
17:19He gave the sword to Khalid ibn al-Walid,
17:22He dealt with those who had apostatized from this religion, saying, "Khalid, deal with them as they deserve."
17:26Therefore, just as our Prophet faced many difficulties in social life,
17:30If he struggled, his companions also struggled with many difficulties.
17:36The men refused to pay zakat (Islamic alms).
17:38Yet, even though there is a verse about zakat in the Quran, they explained the verse in detail.
17:42Therefore, besides Muhammad,
17:44Because they said, "We will not give zakat to anyone other than the Prophet (peace be upon him)."
17:48Our Prophet Abu Bakr also said,
17:49Our esteemed companions there also,
17:51They dealt with these difficulties in social life,
17:54They stood still for a lifetime.
17:56Until death finds them.
17:58Think about it, my dear brothers and sisters,
17:59Our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him,
18:01When he performed the farewell pilgrimage,
18:04120,000 companions of the Prophet came on that farewell pilgrimage.
18:07But they only say that of those 120,000 companions,
18:11Islamic historians,
18:125,000 of them died in and around Mecca and Medina.
18:16And their graves are there.
18:17So, where are the 115,000 companions of the Prophet, my brothers and sisters?
18:21Where are these men?
18:23Let me stay in the Prophet's mosque.
18:25O Allah, let me stay in Your Kaaba, Your House of Allah.
18:27I want to spend my whole life praying here.
18:29Let me worship,
18:30My brothers didn't think, "I'll go to God from here either."
18:33They all represent the social identity of Islam.
18:36to establish its dominance and sovereignty over the earth
18:39They left their homes and lands
18:42And they went to the lands of jihad.
18:43Imagine, for example, the graves of 10,000 companions of the Prophet.
18:47My brothers are in the land we now know as Damascus.
18:50There are 15,000 graves of companions of the Prophet in a place called Iraq.
18:54What are these people doing here?
18:56These people should be in Medina,
18:58These people should be in Mecca
19:00What is he doing around here?
19:02We can't make sense of it, can we?
19:03Why?
19:04Because of the needy conversations we will be having weekly.
19:07We humans who don't pay attention,
19:09we Muslims,
19:11We can't understand these things, can we?
19:13We're having some difficulties.
19:15From where?
19:15Because they are my beautiful brothers and sisters, this religion has a social identity in this world as well as a prayer identity.
19:25They left their homeland to establish their will.
19:28Imagine, for example,
19:31Our master Said bin Zeyd (may Allah be pleased with him),
19:33Eyüp al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him), who was a guest of our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in his house in Medina for 7 months, boarded ships.
19:42he got on,
19:43He came to conquer Cyprus.
19:45He even came to conquer Istanbul.
19:47He's 93 years old now.
19:49My brothers, he came and could not return to Medina.
19:52And isn't he buried in Eyüp Sultan now?
19:56So, Allah Almighty sent them a prophet, He sent them a religion.
20:01But this religion didn't offer them a sweet life, my brothers and sisters.
20:04So, in a life adorned with such flowers, what didn't she do?
20:07He didn't promise it.
20:08Therefore, they completed their lives amidst constant hardship.
20:12Doesn't our Lord already say that in the second verse of Surah Ankabus, brother Kashif?
20:17Or should you not harbor the illusion that you will enter Paradise so quickly without experiencing what befell previous nations?
20:26Don't get your hopes up about entering paradise too quickly, he says.
20:29And who are these people that God is referring to when he says this?
20:32Rocks have been placed on it; those who know, say that God has done this.
20:35His body was combed with iron combs.
20:38My brothers, Allah revealed this verse to Habbab bin Eretler.
20:45Allahu Akbar! Imagine, his mother and father were torn to pieces by camels right before his eyes.
20:51God says to Ammar bin Yasir:
20:53Before what happened to other nations happens to you
20:57O Ammar, do not think that you will enter Paradise so quickly, says Allah Almighty.
21:02Allahu Akbar.
21:03So, this prophet had a social identity within this life, within this social life.
21:09the biggest reason for his suffering
21:11Islam socially, from the mosque to the home, from the street to the assembly
21:18It was so that he could establish his dominance everywhere, my brothers.
21:22For him, there are hardships in the religion sent by Allah Almighty.
21:26This is a difficult religion.
21:28It's not a difficult religion, but...
21:30those who cannot tolerate hardship
21:32They cannot show the right path in this religion.
21:35They lack perseverance.
21:36Therefore, they
21:37Our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and his companions
21:39how they endured such hardships
21:41The year is 2006.
21:43We're going back to 2007.
21:45The same challenges will exist in this era as well, my brothers and sisters.
21:48That is, Allah Almighty
21:50He put them through such trials that day.
21:52Today, he will put us to the test again, this time with women.
21:55He will pass the test with money.
21:57God Almighty will test us with wealth.
21:59He will test us with our spouse.
22:00He will test us by turning our child into an atheist.
22:03He will test our child by his failure to wake up for morning prayer.
22:06You will be tested by the disloyalty of some people.
22:10You will be tested by friendship.
22:12You will be tested by friendship.
22:14We will be tested by position and status.
22:18Therefore, there is no departure from this world without a test.
22:21So, I'll arrange the marriage later.
22:23God Almighty will give me such an intelligent child.
22:26This child will become a hafiz (someone who has memorized the entire Quran) before the age of 5.
22:28Then I'll make him a scholar.
22:30He prays for me too.
22:31Therefore, Islam did not promise us an easy life by saying, "God will take me to paradise."
22:36Or I could go on a pilgrimage.
22:37When I go on Hajj, I wear my ihram.
22:39Nobody steps on my toes.
22:41They bring me and offer me Zamzam.
22:43They also give dates.
22:44I'll eat that too, it'll be delicious.
22:45Then I will die there, in Kash-i Wabi.
22:48Then they take me there.
22:52They bury them in the cemetery in Mecca.
22:54Islam did not promise us that we would enter paradise by dying, did it, Allah Almighty?
23:00He promised an Islam fraught with challenges.
23:02Right now, for example, we don't have problems among ourselves.
23:06For example, there is such a thing as ethnic conflict.
23:08They were saying things like there were sectarian conflicts among Muslims and so on.
23:13So, didn't these things happen among the Companions of the Prophet as well?
23:16Just as there are sectarian conflicts among Muslims, the Companions of the Prophet also faced each other at the Battle of Camel.
23:21In Nahwaran, حضرت Ali confronted the Kharijites.
23:24Didn't Muawiya and our master Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) confront each other at the Battle of Siffin, my brothers?
23:29Therefore, these are things we would normally consider and normally bring up.
23:36But what are we doing?
23:37We are looking into these problems.
23:38We are examining the difficulties facing the Ummah of Muhammad, which stem from Islam's social identity.
23:44We keep talking about these problems over and over again, my brothers.
23:47So, talking about the difficulties, asking where these trials came from,
23:52In other words, it doesn't give us any hope, it doesn't inspire optimism; it only further destroys our hope and optimism.
23:57In fact, psychologically it makes us weak and a defeated nation, a vanquished people.
24:03What should we do for him/her?
24:05Within this social identity of Islam,
24:07Within this social identity of our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), which was more prominent than prayer and fasting...
24:14Islam shows us the problems we face, the places where we will be tested.
24:19For him, talking about these troubles, these trials,
24:22My brothers tell us that there is no greater form of worship than constantly talking about these problems.
24:27God Almighty did not create a type of worship that involves constantly talking about the problems of Muslims.
24:33To constantly talk about these problems, especially the interest rate problem in this era,
24:39Discussing other problems is not something that Allah Almighty has commanded us to do.
24:43But what does God command us?
24:45It tells us how to get out of these difficulties.
24:48Or, regarding what we should do,
24:51Our Lord wants us to investigate what we need to do and what studies we should conduct regarding this matter.
24:57So, more than the findings themselves, what awaits us, my brothers and sisters, is to search with Allah Almighty for the solutions and proposals that these findings offer.
25:06Perhaps we don't have people like Abu Bakr in today's era, but they too were tested, just as our Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) was.
25:14We will also face trials, but we will not dwell on these troubles.
25:18So you will experience disloyalty from a friend, but you must remain steadfast in the religion of God.
25:24You will experience infidelity from your spouse; you must persevere by being understanding and avoiding the destruction of the family.
25:31Someone will turn their back on you, and you have to prove to God that you didn't do anything for them.
25:37God wants to see this, my brothers and sisters.
25:40God will test us with one another.
25:42We seek to behave well in the sight of Allah, the Almighty, because He tested us on that day to determine which of us would behave well.
25:50We will strive to be good Muslims so that they see the importance of good intentions and not being manipulative in business.
25:57Listen, my brothers and sisters, as I said, we shouldn't dwell on our problems.
26:00These are the troubles, the torments, the sufferings that will befall all Muslims until the Day of Judgment.
26:06Because, as we said, God will not put us in paradise without testing us.
26:09But sometimes questions like this arise.
26:13Unfortunately, these are the problematic questions.
26:14Muslims, for example, constantly ask themselves these questions, and because they can't come up with a solution, the groundwork for a psychological defeat is being laid.
26:24For example, what is one of the most famous problematic questions, the one that is often referred to as a troublesome question, my brothers?
26:31What are we talking about?
26:32We often ask, "Why can't Muslims liberate Jerusalem?"
26:35So, in a certain village, the villagers staged a protest, a demonstration, against the municipal teams who came to cut down three plane trees.
26:43Therefore, he convinced both the village headman and the municipal teams to abandon their plan to cut down these plane trees.
26:48But the question is, why can't Muslims liberate Jerusalem?
26:51Or, some businessman will come along a stream that flows through a town and build a company or factory there.
26:59Therefore, some people are protesting because it will kill the fish in the stream and pollute the environment.
27:04So how is it that, even though he persuaded the district governor not to allow that factory to be built there due to the myth, 2 billion Muslim families are now asking about Jerusalem?
27:13We keep talking about how we can't save them, don't we, my brothers and sisters?
27:17Could saving Jerusalem be considered equivalent to saving three plane trees in a village?
27:25Closing down a factory located in a village, next to a stream, is like saving Jerusalem, a matter that has been a problem for 10 centuries.
27:35Could they be the same, my brothers?
27:37Instead of discussing this, it seems Allah Almighty is leading the Ummah of Muhammad towards a changing of the guard.
27:42He came before and took Jerusalem with Omar, then Jerusalem was lost again.
27:47Then God sent a Saladin.
27:49So Saladin came and took it.
27:51Then we lost Jerusalem again.
27:53Then came the Ottomans, and the Ottomans conquered Jerusalem.
27:57Therefore, Jerusalem is currently undergoing a changing of the guard.
27:59Let's also look at the positive side of things, thinking that one day Allah Almighty will allow Muslims to conquer Jerusalem again.
28:06So, my brothers and sisters, we will see that our hopes have not diminished.
28:12Therefore, we need to talk about the causes rather than just the results.
28:19Our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "One day you will become like carcasses swarming over humanity."
28:27The Companions said to our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
28:30O Messenger of Allah, will we be few in number on that day?
28:32No, he said, you won't be few in number.
28:34"You will be many, but," he said, "you will be like flotsam and jetsam carried away in a stream."
28:39Yes, the community that our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) referred to as "worthless" is us, my brothers and sisters.
28:45We, 2 billion Muslims, can't do anything against 20 million Zionist murderers in Israel, can we?
28:51What is the reason?
28:52We are like flotsam and jetsam in the stream.
28:55The companions asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
28:57"O Messenger of Allah, why will we be nothing but worthless debris on that day?" they asked.
29:00He said, "Because you will contract the disease of ignorance."
29:04Then the Companions asked again.
29:06"O Messenger of Allah, what is the disease of weakness?" he asked.
29:08Vehin said that with this illness, you won't want to die and you will love the world very much.
29:13One is the cause and the other is the effect.
29:16A person who loves the world so much would never wish for death.
29:20Because a person doesn't go from a place they've destroyed—I apologize for saying this—to a place they've built.
29:28If you build the world while constantly destroying your hereafter, you will want to go from where you built for the world to where you destroyed.
29:37Are you?
29:37You don't want that.
29:38That's why we're in this situation right now, my brothers and sisters.
29:41Therefore, instead of asking why we can't liberate Jerusalem, we need to find solutions by considering what we should do regarding Jerusalem.
29:51So we can't even manage a simple boycott.
29:54We just can't manage not to go to Starbucks.
29:57Burger King restaurants are still open in this Muslim community.
30:01So we're asking how we're going to liberate Jerusalem, right?
30:04Even the salary of the imam who leads my prayers and serves as the imam in the mosque sits in the bank earning interest for a whole month, my brothers.
30:12Then we wonder why we can't liberate Jerusalem.
30:15Isn't the reason obvious?
30:17Unless we mend our ways, unless this filth disappears, will Allah Almighty grant us this? No, He will not.
30:24Therefore, we should be more concerned with the cause of this event than its outcome.
30:29There is no defeat in the destiny of our nation.
30:32There is only a temporary test.
30:35Yes, Byzantium may have conquered Constantinople today, but one day, when mothers give birth to Mehmed the Conqueror, those Mehmeds will be 21 years old.
30:45What will you do, Byzantium, when he reaches the age to move ships overland?
30:50Or perhaps today Jerusalem may be occupied by Israelite Zionist imperialists, but one day when mothers give birth to Saladin,
31:01What will you do, Zionist Israel, when the day comes that Saladin and his followers swear they will not smile until Jerusalem is conquered?
31:11Therefore, our duty is to do what is expected of us, my brothers, not to constantly talk about the problems.
31:21Constantly talking about the problems only creates a psychology of defeat among Muslims.
31:26Brothers and sisters, what's our second question?
31:30Our second negative, problematic question is why aren't the scholars speaking out?
31:35We always talk about this, for example.
31:37In other words, scholars, as expressed by our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), are the inheritors of the prophets.
31:44Scholars are the manifestation of Allah Almighty's attribute of knowledge on earth, my brothers and sisters.
31:49We must be a community that follows its scholars.
31:53We must be a nation that returns to its scholars.
31:55The guiding stars in the firmament of this nation—whether it's hadith scholars or Quranic tafsir (Quranic exegesis) scholars, we must listen to what they say.
32:05Unfortunately, today, there are three main problems concerning scholars, both in our country in particular and globally.
32:12Who is the scholar?
32:13That's the first problem.
32:14Who is the scholar?
32:15Whom shall we call a scholar?
32:16Secondly, why aren't the scholars speaking out?
32:19The third problem is why do the scholars who speak say different things than each other?
32:23What one person calls forbidden, another calls permissible.
32:26What one person calls blasphemy, another calls obligatory.
32:29Why, my brothers?
32:31So we keep asking why the scholars aren't speaking up.
32:34You know how we say, "Let's not focus on the result, let's not focus on the cause"?
32:37Why do we have so many conflicts?
32:39Because scholars don't emerge from these lands, my brothers.
32:43What does a rich man do with his rich son?
32:46He teaches at the best universities.
32:47He becomes an engineer, he becomes a doctor.
32:50Is it true?
32:51What do families do with their intelligent children, simply because they think the children are intelligent?
32:55They send them there so they can learn science, learn this, learn that.
32:59What are they not doing at all for religious studies?
33:01They don't even bother.
33:03Everyone is asking why the scholars aren't speaking up, but...
33:05There is no one who will make their child a scholar.
33:07There are no two Zs here.
33:08The children of the wealthy and the intelligent children are nowhere to be seen.
33:12So, they send poor children, children whose parents are impoverished, to somewhere to become scholars.
33:18This time it's because they were defective products.
33:20I'm saying this so you understand.
33:23This time, the man ends up being the poor guy again.
33:25This time, an imam is giving a sermon somewhere.
33:27And this time, he's having stomach problems.
33:30He can't even speak up for his rights this time because they won't pay his salary.
33:33Then we ask, why aren't the scholars speaking up?
33:35How can a scholar speak?
33:37How can a hungry man speak?
33:39If someone is feeding a man, should you stick your tongue out where that man's hand reaches?
33:44Of course, it won't reach him.
33:46In order for scholars to speak, it was necessary to make wealthy and intelligent children scholars.
33:52So, someone might say, "Give me a salary, cover my living expenses, I have to pay my rent."
33:58My brothers and sisters, you can't be a scholar if you bow your head in shame, wondering if your children will have to eat stones just because you have to pay your gas bill.
34:04Isn't this the situation we find ourselves in right now?
34:08There was a historian named Kadir Mısıroğlu, may God rest his soul.
34:11What did he say?
34:12He's saying it under oath.
34:14He says today, he says to the Religious Affairs Directorate personnel, he says to their imams,
34:19The Directorate of Religious Affairs says it should send instructions.
34:23And he says, "From now on, you will go to mosques wearing a cross around your neck and lead prayers like that,"
34:28"By God," he says, "ninety percent of imams say, 'go there wearing a cross around their necks.'"
34:32What is the reason?
34:33Money, my friends, unfortunately, it's all about money.
34:37If you brought five hundred poor children,
34:40So, if we were to choose just one scholar from among them,
34:42As I said, he also gets stomach problems, so what happens this time, my brothers?
34:47He cannot explain God's religion.
34:49But you'll say, "Brother, there are so many scholars."
34:51There are so many teachers in the market.
34:52They're not scholars, my brothers.
34:54They are just people who pretend to be scholars.
34:57Informed people.
34:59If being a scholar means possessing knowledge,
35:02And computers are already knowledgeable,
35:04Computers are intelligent too, aren't they?
35:06Isn't that right?
35:08So, have you ever heard of a greater scholar than those with fleeting memories?
35:12Simply uploading the information,
35:14If mere possession of information constitutes scholarship,
35:17They have no greater scholars than those in the archives.
35:19How many thousands of terabytes, right?
35:21People are uncovering huge, massive fleets of memory.
35:24Therefore, being a scholar means...
35:27So, if necessary for the sake of God's religion,
35:30It means being a person who can demonstrate the reflex to sacrifice not only their possessions but also their life, my brothers.
35:38So, this is also related to it,
35:41I think it would be appropriate to say something like this.
35:43So think about it,
35:44Currently on Earth, our Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him)
35:47as we have explained,
35:49If necessary, with property and life, for this religion,
35:51Like Abu Hanifa, like Imam Malik,
35:53They will speak the truth without fear of tyrannical rulers like Ahmad ibn Hanbal.
36:00Perhaps there aren't even a hundred scholars in the world right now.
36:03There aren't a hundred scholars.
36:06What does our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say about it?
36:09God says,
36:10He says this is the science of religion,
36:11He says he won't just take it away all at once.
36:12How does he get it, he asks?
36:14Scholars say,
36:15He says he will take it from among you by killing you slowly.
36:17Then he says,
36:18Someone you consider a scholar says,
36:20He says, "Take him to the podium."
36:21you say,
36:22You ask them for a fatwa, he says.
36:24They themselves are misguided.
36:25And they lead you astray, he says.
36:27Isn't it?
36:28Allahu Akbar.
36:29So the man,
36:30The man we know as a scholar,
36:31The huge professor has become a doctor.
36:33on television screens,
36:35My brothers are saying that the mausoleum is a tomb.
36:39Subhanallah.
36:41Because the mausoleum is a tomb and to him,
36:43with care,
36:44He's talking about the fact that one cannot fail to show respect.
36:47Even our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him,
36:50He did not have such a tomb.
36:52The companions of the Prophet in Medina,
36:55There is only a stone at the head of their graves,
36:58They don't even have names,
36:59tombstones without names written on them
37:01the religion brought by the companions
37:04People who are knowledgeable and considered learned,
37:08Because they turned it into a shrine religion,
37:10We're wondering why the scholars aren't speaking up right now, aren't we?
37:13Therefore, my brothers and sisters,
37:15Allah Almighty looks at what mothers and fathers want.
37:18According to him, he is sending his children.
37:20Mothers and fathers for 100 years,
37:21He wants an engineer.
37:22God keeps sending engineers all the time.
37:24Mothers and fathers for 100 years,
37:26They turned their faces to the west,
37:27They want a doctor.
37:28God keeps sending doctors all the time.
37:30Mothers, fathers,
37:31Like the mother of Imam Abu Hanifa,
37:34He prays,
37:35If learned children want
37:37What will God do?
37:38Imam Abu Hanifa and his followers,
37:39My brothers, send us Ahmad ibn Hanbal again.
37:43My brothers and sisters, here's a third question:
37:45The problem is our third question, which is problematic.
37:47Why don't Muslims unite?
37:49The European Union is united,
37:51United Nations united,
37:53NATO united, but the 2 billion-strong Muslim family did not.
37:57We say things like that, right?
37:58My brothers and sisters, the religion of Islam,
37:59so, with someone's white hair,
38:02gathering the black wires together,
38:05from this blue thread a race,
38:07It is not an exorcism religion.
38:10Let's have 100 different countries.
38:14So, Islam is not a religion that bans someone from wearing a fez,
38:18removing the turban that someone is wearing
38:20It's not a religion that homogenizes everyone,
38:23only the Islamic religion, let different countries be Islamic,
38:27but let them have a caliph at the head of a single governing mechanism,
38:32My fellow believers who expressed this wish.
38:34Therefore, we lost the caliphate, which was the first value we lost 100 years ago.
38:40Because we lost the Caliphate,
38:42Because we lost the caliph,
38:44Right now we are saying that,
38:45Why can't Muslims unite?
38:47Of course they can't unite.
38:47Unless there is a caliph at the head,
38:50Therefore, while you are celebrating the holiday here, somewhere else someone is still fasting.
38:56Someone saw the crescent moon,
38:58When we say we are starting Ramadan,
38:59As long as your caliph is not present, no one will say the crescent moon has been sighted.
39:03We are not starting Ramadan,
39:04"We're starting tomorrow," my brothers say.
39:06Allahu Akbar.
39:07Therefore, the first value that this nation lost was...
39:11The caliphate belongs to my dear brothers.
39:13Those who abolished this office on March 3rd,
39:15They abolished this office in order to cast the Muslim community aside like orphaned children.
39:22Look, my brothers and sisters, this is so important!
39:24Our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) says:
39:26He says, when 3 things come,
39:27He says you should never put these three things on hold.
39:291- When the prayer time begins,
39:31Do not delay prayer when its time has come.
39:332. Don't keep single people waiting when the time is right.
39:383- He says, "When a person dies, don't delay burying them."
39:43The scholars of Hadith have said that,
39:45In this scholar, our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave a command,
39:49He was compelled to do something, but...
39:51The Companions of the Prophet, in this hadith,
39:53They didn't follow the instruction to bury the deceased immediately after death, he says.
39:58From where?
39:59Why didn't they implement it, my brothers?
40:01Which of the Companions died and did not apply this hadith?
40:04Our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, passed away.
40:07Before taking our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and placing him in the grave,
40:10Our master Abu Bakr, our master Omar,
40:12They took me to Sakif's garden and,
40:15The religion left behind by our Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him),
40:19They decided to elect the caliph, who would be their leader.
40:22And before that caliph was chosen,
40:24Our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, has not been buried yet, my brothers.
40:27What did Abu Bakr Umar tell us?
40:30The Prophet's disciples.
40:31So,
40:32caliphate, caliphate office,
40:34such a position,
40:36Even prophets aren't buried until they're chosen, my brothers.
40:41Allahu Akbar.
40:42At work,
40:42Our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him,
40:44Look,
40:44simply because of the command he stated in this hadith,
40:48Our esteemed companions of the Prophet,
40:49Until a caliph ascends to the caliphate,
40:52They did not bury our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in the ground.
40:54But what are we doing right now?
40:56Unfortunately,
40:57Think about it, for example,
40:58There's a huge fire in the house.
40:59There are children at home.
41:01There are women,
41:01There are all sorts of things.
41:02We,
41:03put out that fire in the house,
41:05the children inside there,
41:06rather than saving,
41:08in the garden,
41:09We're trying to rescue the dog in the shed.
41:12We say, "Either the flowers will burn,"
41:13We are trying to save the flowers.
41:16Okay, fine.
41:16Let's save the dog too.
41:18Ok,
41:18Let's save the flowers too.
41:19But there's a huge fire inside.
41:22Therefore,
41:23Unfortunately, we didn't catch that fire.
41:25We need to see it as a community.
41:26Those whom we currently refer to as scholars,
41:28or the people we call opinion leaders,
41:32It's about how this caliphate can be restored,
41:35Perhaps they need to work on this very seriously.
41:39God willing, may we see those days.
41:41May God grant us all the grace to be among the believers.
41:43Lastly, my brothers and sisters,
41:45The last problematic question is,
41:48The question we've all asked ourselves and taught ourselves excuses for,
41:53Brother, there is no Sharia law on Earth.
41:55God has no religion,
41:56So, we're asking how we can be good Muslims, right?
41:59Just think about it,
42:02the heads of state who govern us,
42:04The man was once prime minister.
42:06Even men who have served in ministerial positions,
42:08Gathering votes with the headscarf outcry,
42:11Even though they came to power by exploiting the issue of headscarf discrimination,
42:15currently in Azerbaijan,
42:17to little girls,
42:18That infidel Ilham Aliyev, who doesn't allow women to wear headscarves,
42:21They are supporters, aren't they?
42:24So how are we going to be good Muslims from here?
42:27The man said he built two rakı factories.
42:29then he increased it to 16,
42:31and explaining that this is a good thing,
42:34In this country, which is governed by people whose wives wear headscarves,
42:37We're asking how to be good Muslims, right?
42:40Allahu Akbar.
42:41But my brothers and sisters,
42:42Isn't Islam a balance between concessions and absolutes?
42:46Yes, it may be difficult to remain a Muslim in the environment we live in.
42:51But the religion of Allah Almighty,
42:53Is it not a religion based on permission and majesty?
42:56Isn't religion something that comes and goes between the two?
42:58When you find it difficult to perform prayer,
43:02When your knees become osteoarthritic,
43:03Are you saying you don't pray?
43:05God says to His prophet,
43:07If my servants have suffered from osteoarthritis in their knees,
43:10If they cannot pray standing up,
43:12"Then he should pray sitting down," says Lokman Hodja.
43:14If you can't even pray sitting down,
43:15Then you will pray lying down.
43:17If you can't even pray lying down,
43:19then with your eyes closed,
43:21You will pray.
43:22They burned down and banned mosques.
43:23They imprisoned you, they locked you in a toilet.
43:26He says you will even pray in the toilet.
43:28So Islam is a religion that makes difficulties easier for you.
43:33So what can't we say?
43:35Therefore, rewarding prostitution,
43:36But because we live in a country that punishes wearing a headscarf
43:40Practicing Islam is very difficult.
43:43Because Islam is gone for him,
43:45We cannot even imagine it, my brothers.
43:48I will try my best to avoid what God has forbidden.
43:53I will try to fulfill God's commandments.
43:55What am I going to do when I get stuck?
43:57I will rely on the license.
43:59I will apply for a license.
44:00So if I'm thirsty, yes, I can drink alcohol there.
44:03If I'm hungry, I can even eat pork, which God has forbidden.
44:08I never had a home.
44:09I had to pitch my tent under the bridge.
44:11Then I'll go and get a loan with interest from the bank.
44:13Then I can take the picture.
44:15But am I really going to do this because I'm stuck while trying to do it?
44:22Or am I going to do this out of my own free will?
44:24Who knows this?
44:25Only God and my own conscience know this.
44:29If I do this because I'm stuck, God will not declare me guilty.
44:35But if I'm doing this not because I'm stuck, but because it spoils my mood, because it ruins my enjoyment...
44:42Then, my brothers, Allah Almighty will hold me accountable for this.
44:47My brothers and sisters, our intentions are very important here.
44:51So, when I'm stuck in a rut, I do some things that are forbidden, but Allah Almighty has given me permission to do them because it's not written as forbidden in the Quran.
44:59So I'll try my best.
45:01In fact, our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) speaks of how great our intentions are.
45:06Think about becoming a martyr.
45:09Even if you die in bed, Professor Selim says, "Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) says you are a martyr."
45:14My brothers and sisters, we believe in a prophet who said that the intention of a believer is greater than his deeds.
45:20So, what does this mean now? May Allah Almighty grant Sumeyye, our mother Sumeyye, may Allah be pleased with her.
45:25For example, will he say something like this?
45:26Sumeyye, you come from a country where Abu Jahl ruled.
45:30Will God say, "Is that why He is throwing you into hell?"
45:32Is this how God does his work?
45:34He doesn't do that, does he?
45:36So, my brothers and sisters, this is not a matter of the system, the place, or the time.
45:44So the obstacle to being a good Muslim is a piece of land, the Abu Jahl system.
45:49Or perhaps it's not a worthy Kemalist system.
45:51If we cannot be good Muslims because of our own ego, if our ego prevents us from being good Muslims, then it is because of our own ego.
46:01Be Musab, what does it matter if you are in Medina, Mecca, or Moscow?
46:07What difference does it make if you're in Washington, right?
46:09Being Musab isn't something that depends on place or time.
46:13Because it's a matter related to one's own ego.
46:16That's why this is so important to my brothers and sisters.
46:19Many people who prayed behind our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) died as unbelievers in this world.
46:26The man prayed behind the prophet.
46:30So, if place and time matter, then he lived during the time of the Prophet, in the Golden Age.
46:35After the Prophet died, he said, "I don't believe in Muhammad, I don't pay zakat," and he died as an unbeliever.
46:41What will God say about this now?
46:43"What a wonderful servant of God you are, coming from a city like Medina, which was ruled by the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)."
46:48Will angels greet him with confetti?
46:50No.
46:51From where?
46:52Because for God, place, time, and location are irrelevant.
46:55It doesn't matter where you're from.
46:57What matters is that you become a servant of God by controlling your desires, striving to remain a good Muslim regardless of the system, place, or time.
47:07My siblings.
47:08Therefore, may Allah grant us the grace to be among the believers who strive to be His good servants.
47:14May God grant us wisdom in our minds, insight in our eyes, and love in our hearts.
47:19All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the Worlds.
