00:48All these young guys, well, so far at two positions, they're not better than last year.
00:53The offensive line is not better than last year yet.

00:58I mean, there's the qualifier because you knew this first month
01:03where the schedule's set up for them to develop and learn.
01:06And the question always was, where will they be in October, right?
01:11And the pass rush.
01:12They aren't going to have two first-round picks.
01:14I like the guys, and I saw some really good pass rushes the other night, especially late
01:18in the game by the defensive ends.
01:20But those guys aren't what they lost.
01:23Those guys were pressuring every play.
01:25And the bigger the play got, the better they got.
01:28Look at the plays they made at the end of games against Notre Dame and everybody else on that
01:33schedule.
01:35So I'm just saying they're not there yet.
01:37I'm not saying they can't get there.
01:39And they had some playmakers in the secondary that still got drafted pretty high.
01:43But what fueled the run last year in the playoffs was the line.
01:47The two lines were the engines to letting everything else happen.
01:52So anyway, but, boy, I hope you get some good news.

01:58A lot of guys were banged up and nicked up.

02:29And meanwhile, the 49ers went out there for a week.
02:32And they'd be jet lagged in the Dolphin game and beyond.
02:40And 49ers win, that all goes to bed.
02:42Now, if the Rams lose, then there's going to be people questioning, what were they doing?
02:47I still, for going to California alone, and from California to Florida three or four or five times a year,
