00:01yeah it is a big weekend in college football because we are starting to get conference
00:05play starting in earnest including in the big 10 and we're talking about more than just the
00:10strange bedfellows of usc and rutgers and produce so badly needing to play in the rose bowl we'll
00:15do it at 11 p.m we're getting into legacy teams playing legacy teams we'll get into that more in
00:21the moment but where will michigan and michigan state finish in the big 10 standings this year
00:26now think as generally as you can or as you want to upper half middle of the pack lower third

00:32last however so for it sounds better if i say upper half for michigan but i'm going to say middle

00:42because i i think they end the big 10 season five and four and i'm looking at it going you

00:47last year that was seventh in the big 10 which puts them at the top of the middle third
00:51um it puts them in the top half but i'm looking at iowa this weekend indiana oregon and osu like
00:59those are those are going to be tough matchups and i know that hey everybody's excited about the 19 to

01:10minnesota we had a rutgers we had something like that to continue to allow him to progress iowa's
01:15defense is really going to create problems for bryce and this offensive line for michigan state
01:20i'll also say middle third more towards the bottom of the middle fourth third and if they're
01:26four and five in the big 10 that gets them to bowl eligibility which i think they will be
01:31you know that that puts them at 10 or 11 in the big 10 this year i'd put them in
01:37the fifth third
01:38the fraction um michigan top third but near the bottom i think there are five i know there are five
01:46teams ranked ahead of them right now in the top 25 and that's not including oregon who they have to
01:51play in eugene msu i think avoids the bottom six barely i've got rutgers purdue maryland wisconsin
01:57minnesota and illinois in that bottom six teams so you're more optimistic about michigan than i am
02:03i guess so speaking of the b1g indiana begins the defense of its conference title as they play
02:10northwestern is kurt signetti the new nick saban yes a psycho obsessed with all the details he's
02:16already won a national title and i think winning one at indiana is worth like three or four at
02:20alabama saban only went undefeated twice sig's already done it once and who knows may do it again
02:27so i think if we're looking at a very small sample size then we could say yes i think we

02:33more and more sustained success by kirk signetti which okay it seems like he's on that path it
02:40should have been ryan day with all the talent that he's had but yet he can't seem to win on

02:48basis at least the big ones and we thought it was going to be kirby smart a again like kirk

03:37nc state lost to vanderbilt when cj bailey botched the intentional safety play and fumbled in his own
03:44end zone for vandy's game winning touchdown is this a worse way to lose than trouble with the snap
03:50i really struggled with this question and i'm gonna say yes whatever takes the attention off of us
03:59but uh the ball was in his hands like he had it secured or at least he thought he did

04:06in the end zone whereas then you look and say well the trouble with the snap maybe that was worse

05:46penalty they're confused or they jump off sides and it worked they did and that worked but barring
05:53that and even including that i say no i didn't like it and i was sitting like take a deep

06:11the extra point to six or eight if you scored a touchdown would you kick the extra point to get

06:26you get the extra point to get it to eight i would go for two to make it nine game

06:33would do that i would clemson north carolina had a chance to do that and they chose to kick the

10:20for their matchup with the crimson tide the following week well because it's an sec school
