A relaxed Uganda vlog with a mall trip, market shopping, and homemade local food takes the spotlight as she shares a few ordinary but memorable days in Kampala. The video starts with leftover kotoka, laundry, and Luganda lessons before heading out by Uber to Acacia Mall, then shifts into a sunny but cloudy Easter Sunday at the market.

From there, the focus turns to cooking and filming for her Dutch channel, where she prepares two Ugandan dishes, including chapatis and bean sauce, with help and guidance from her boyfriend. She talks honestly about being tired after a day of filming, but also proud that she made the recipes herself for the first time. The vlog keeps a calm, personal lifestyle feel, mixing travel, food, and everyday life in Uganda.

Created for viewers who enjoy Uganda vlogs, Kampala lifestyle content, food vlogs, and local cooking videos, this is a simple first-person travel-and-food diary with a cozy, authentic tone. It also suits anyone searching for Acacia Mall, Ugandan dishes, chapati recipe content, market shopping, or daily life in Uganda and the Netherlands.

00:06I didn't want to work with you.
00:07Yesterday, when I asked for you, what did you do?
00:09You know him?
00:11Ah, you see how you see doing, yeah.
00:14Then you said you were allergic.
00:18I was going to the market yesterday,
00:23and I tried to have a conversation with a woman now.
00:28But I noticed that I was a little bit shy to talk to you about his ideas.
01:06Hello, hello, and thanks for watching this new vlog.
01:10I just started this morning with some leftover katoke,
01:15did some laundry, and of course some Luganda lessons.
01:18And now I'm going to put my shoes on, because the Uber is almost there, I think.
01:25No, I got a message from the Uber, but it wasn't there.
01:29But he's coming, and we're going to Acacia Mall, so let's go.
01:33That's awesome.
02:02That's awesome!
02:28Okay good morning guys it's already the next day actually I wanted to vlog one
02:33day but I realized that I didn't have that much footage so I thought I take you
02:38with me on this sunny cloudy Easter Sunday it's just gonna be a relaxing day
02:46I'm gonna shoot some video for my Dutch channel as well that's why I'm now up to
02:50the market and I'm gonna buy some some nice stuff and I'm really excited about
02:57it because I'm gonna make two local dishes and if you want to see that video
03:02it is Dutch spoken but I have English shop title so I will link it here so you
03:08can see how it all went but it's gonna be good and I'm gonna be quick because I
03:14hear already the thunder and I don't want to end up in a huge rain flow so let's go
03:21to the market
04:00and I'll see you guys next time
04:02and I'll see you guys next time
04:32Oh my goodness, guys. I just made for my Dutch channel some posho. This is some last piece left over.
04:42And I'm now busy with making some chapatis because we still have some bean sauce. I made this also myself.
04:54I'm exhausted.
04:56I'm just going to chill now for a while and I think I'll see you later on when I'm having
05:02the chico mando. My self-made chico mando, I have to say.
05:08Okay. Yes, I'm really excited, but I'm also really exhausted. So I'm going to take some rest.
05:12Okay, guys. It is already evening again and I have the feeling that I didn't film that much today. But
05:19I had a great somehow lazy day, somehow hard working day because I made two recipes for my Dutch channel.
05:27And it was fun, though. It was the first time that I made really Ugandan dishes in my life. I
05:33tried once on the project where I worked for, like in 2016. But then the woman who taught me mostly
05:41did all of this.
05:42And now I had to do it myself and I just got some guidance. My boyfriend was just standing next
05:48to me, like, guide me, like, you have to do this. This is the next step. So I did all
05:52the steps all alone.
05:53But, yeah, it was a great day and it was a great weekend. And I'm looking forward to the week
06:00again and to take you with me to all the nice things I'm going to do. I'm going to explore
06:06more of Uganda as well. At least not really the whole Uganda, but I want to go out more.
06:13I'd like to see more things from Kampala and take you with me as well. I'm really looking forward to
06:19do that. And I will do that next week. So, yeah, if you want to see how my life is
06:27now in Uganda for some weeks, then please subscribe. Please put a thumbs up if you liked the video. And
06:34I'll see you at the next. Bye bye.
