Going to Germany to buy cheaper groceries and drugstore items turns into a full budget test, a baby shopping haul, and a relaxed city trip all in one vlog. Jetske heads across the border to see if shopping in Germany is really cheaper than in the Netherlands, even with fuel included, and fills a long list for herself, friends, and the baby.

Inside the German supermarket and drugstore, she picks up everyday essentials like deodorant, skincare oil, makeup remover, baby oil, bath items, toothpaste, tea, and more. She also receives a huge amount of baby gear and breastfeeding supplies from a friend, including blankets, covers, bath capes, a nursing pillow, and other practical newborn items that help shorten the shopping list. Later in the vlog, the family buys a bathtub for the baby and visits Appelorn on Easter Sunday for a calm city outing with terrace drinks, sunny views, and drone shots.

This is a lifestyle vlog about cross-border shopping, baby preparations, budget grocery hauls, and a Dutch travel day in Germany. It mixes everyday family life, practical shopping, and a small city trip in a casual first-person format.

Ideal for viewers searching for Germany shopping vlog, cheaper groceries in Germany, Dutch border shopping, drugstore haul, baby essentials haul, lifestyle vlog, and relaxed city trip content. Great for fans of family vlogs, budget shopping videos, and travel-and-lifestyle storytelling with real-life shopping comparisons.

00:00Hi everyone and thanks for watching this new video. Today it's Tuesday and I'm
00:06going to do something fun. I am going to Germany. Actually I'm going to film
00:11there two videos for my Dutch channel, but I know someone from social media and
00:18she is living in a place near to Germany. We share a border with German and I saw
00:25a lot of TV shows saying that doing your groceries in Germany is way more
00:31cheaper than in the Netherlands. So today I'm going to take it to a test and see
00:35if that's true. And I made a whole list for myself, for some friends and for the
00:41baby. So yeah, expect a lot of shop lock and of course I'm going to show you
00:48around in a German supermarket and German drugstore, I have to say. And we shall see.
01:07Oh my goodness guys, I have three bags full of stuff, also things gifted by my friends.
01:16It's insane. I'm so grateful again. Now it's going to be dark. So I'm going to do the shop
01:22lock tomorrow, but you will see this right now. Guys, I am home. Well, actually I was
01:29already home. This is the next day and it's time for the shop lock. I just did it also
01:35for my Dutch channel, but I did a whole budget shop lock. So I showed also the weekly
01:40groceries, but I'm not going to show you that. I'm going to show you only the baby
01:46stuff and stuff I bought in the drugstore. So I should say, let's go. In the drugstore
01:53I bought two times deodorant for my boyfriends. Not one, not two, not three, but four times
02:03oil for my skin. Two times makeup remover. I think that's also the English word on oil
02:10based. Baby oil for the baby. Pass for cleaning. The, yeah, it is, I need also some alcohol as
02:18well, but for cleaning the, yeah. What is the English word? Thermometer. Thermometer. We've
02:25also this one for in the bath. This one was very cheap. Then I have a lip balm. Two tips
02:30to
02:30brush my teeth. Two times gnocchi to eat. Yeah. You can also buy things to eat there. This
02:37is the most disgusting thing I can think about, but it's to suck out the, the thing from the
02:43nose when the kid is like, like that. Then you can, I don't think you will swallow, but
02:52my friend recommended to me and she said, you should have this. And I was like, okay.
02:56Okay. So I bought this. Then this is what my boyfriend would say. Omo, you called everything
03:04Colcate. No, what did you, no, not Colcate. Is it Colcate? You call always the toothpaste.
03:12I think it's Colcate. You call all the toothpaste Colcate and all the washing for clothes always
03:19Omo, but Omo is a brand. So this is Omo and then some tea. So that's part one. Then since
03:28my friend also have a baby and she had so much left over, she said to me, girl, I have
03:35so much stuff for you. So I will give it to you. It's behind me. I will get it now
03:39and show
03:40you that as well. Well, first of all, this is not even for the baby, but she gave me this
03:47peacemaker. You can suck it and like spice it however you want. Long live being an influencer
03:53because she has a whole box and she said, yes, I will get this week a new box. So I
04:00don't
04:00know what to do. Can you, do you want a new box? And I was like, okay. So I have
04:0612 package
04:08of this. It's insane, but Hey, it's, it's stays well until 2027. So two years will be fine.
04:18So we will eat it anyway. Then now comes the baby stuff. I've got, oh yeah, this is a blanket
04:27for the car sheet where she, where she can be in for the first time. This is a shower for
04:34down under. I don't want to think about that. This is a, um, cover for a pillow to get the
04:41baby dressed. This is some injections where you can, for example, when my breasts are already
04:47start, um, yeah, leaking, I can already put some in the injection and put it in the freezer
04:55for the, for, yeah, the first, uh, meal of the baby. I don't know if I will need it, but
05:02Hey, whatever. This is a hand breasts thing. She also said that I can have the electronical
05:12thing, what she has. Then a cover, another cover for the, uh, baby, uh, to get dressed, the pillow,
05:23another cover for the pillow, not for the baby. Okay. I hope you get me. Then I have
05:28two bath capes. I also needed that. Then in here, there is also something for breastfeeding.
05:36And this is also some pads when you start leaking. For some things I don't want to think about
05:43it, but, and I hope it's not necessary, but yeah, she said you can have it and maybe you
05:48don't use it better safe than sorry. So yeah. And last but not least, I have a pillow that
05:57I can put on my chest and then the baby, or you can have your arms like on it to
06:02rest when
06:03you hold the baby. So again, it's insane. And she gave me this all for free. I asked her
06:12plenty of times, should I give you something? I want to pay for it. She was like, no, no,
06:17no. And maybe in the future when, yeah, I don't know if she wants to have another baby,
06:22but if she wants, she said, I can always ask for it back. It's okay. So it's insane.
06:30And also a lot of stuff she got also for free from friends and family and stuff. So yeah,
06:36I think it's quite common. A lot of things you just use for a few days or a few months
06:44and then you don't use it anymore and it's still good. So why not give it to someone else?
06:50So I'm really grateful again and really spoiled again. And the list is getting shorter of what
06:57we need, but there are still some things on the list. And like I said, maybe next time I should
07:03come back to Germany to finish the list because now we were in a small, yeah, grocery, not at the
07:09grocery store, but a drug store. And there is some bigger store in Kleeve in Germany. So maybe I will
07:15go there with my boyfriend and see if we find the rest. I'm spoiled and I will see the rest
07:22of the
07:22week. Yeah, we're still going to do some fun. So we're going to continue with this vlog, but this
07:27was just a small shop log again from a spoiled girl again. Hello, hello. It is Sunday. Yes, it is
07:38a long
07:38time ago that I spoke to you. Well, not that much has happened only that we bought a butt tub
07:47for the
07:48baby. Yes, this is the butt tub we bought for the baby. It wasn't, yeah, how do you say that?
07:56I didn't
07:57buy pink on purpose, but hey, it's nice. It still has to go upstairs, but I wanted to show it
08:02to you.
08:03So that's the reason why it was still downstairs. Today, it's Easter Sunday. We had really a relaxing
08:09morning. I did some editing and relaxing and just chilling. And now we are going to visit a nice city.
08:17It's going to be Apeldoorn and I'm going to bring you with us.
08:38Hello, hello. We are now in Apeldoorn. I almost wanted to say this in English, Apeldoorn,
08:45but we are in Apeldoorn. We have to check out where the city center is, but we will find it.
08:54So enjoy Apeldoorn.
09:33Okay, guys, we are now on the terrace and we have a Coke and a drink and a sun. So
09:40I'm very grateful.
09:42So guys, we are back from Apeldoorn and I don't think that anything special will happen.
09:48I hope you liked the shots and especially the drone shots. I have no idea how they came out
09:54because yeah, it was we I even thought that we were going to lose this drone
09:59because they were saying that it was landing
10:04but they didn't got the right anchor point. So we saw it behind a building. I was like, no, no,
10:10no, no, no, no.
10:11But we saved it and we came at home with it, so that's good.
10:15So yeah, I hope you like this video. It was full of baby stuff again and some nice city trip.
