00:33and shortened, to say the least, camp.
00:38The union, they got a new agreement, and when they did, they said,
00:42they did the same thing football's done to everybody else.
00:44Let's shorten this camp a little bit.
00:46Speaking of those agreements, we better enjoy baseball, I guess.

00:50By the way, it's like, okay, season's over.
00:53Marlon season's over.
00:54They end up 80 and 82, and you're like, okay,
00:57when are we going to see baseball again?
00:59Because now there's going to be a knockdown drag out to see what happens,
01:05if they can come up with some agreement with what the owners want to do
01:08and what the players want to keep in place.
01:11It's going to be a tough one.
01:13And by the way, that sport can't have another lockout.
01:20Those are killers.
01:21There's too much on the plate to be.
01:24With the way things are right now.
01:26Read the room a little bit, man.
01:29And, yeah, you don't want to see millionaires and billionaires fighting.
01:31Nobody wants to see that.

01:33Hey, so anyway, we've got to talk more about the Dolphins here.
01:37And a few mistakes, but, yeah, the way that game started,
01:43the Dolphins had their longest drive in, like, forever,
01:46right back down the field, and there's still obviously things to clean up
01:52in the defensive secondary, but it's weird.
01:55You scored 10 points.
01:56You had one touchdown called back.
01:59You got some stops.
02:00You got a fourth down stop.
02:02You get the takeaway on the following drive of Kansas City,
02:07and so you had some good things going.
02:09You got some other stops, only to have penalties keep them going.
02:15And the tough one.
02:17Listen, we can get on Chop if Chop's still not what we need him to be,
02:21but he makes a play yesterday.
02:26You can't get mad at him.
02:28Even if you're not a Chop fan, he's coming up the middle.
02:33There's no real way to kind of tackle.
02:37First of all, you got to get on him quickly because Mahomes is going to get
02:40rid of the ball.
02:41He's getting ready to throw it.
02:42And because of the hit on him, he didn't make an accurate throw.
02:45The coverage was good down the field, but it was going to be incomplete,
02:48and they're going to have to punt.
02:51And he's barreling face-to-face, not from the side where you can kind of hit
02:55with your shoulder and your body can land on the ground.
02:57It's a straight, direct shot.
03:00And those are tough, man.
03:02Those are tough not to land.
03:04As he hit them, he goes through them without helmet-to-helmet.
03:09And then they said, well, he came down on them.
03:12He could have avoided some of the weight he put on them because they look for that
03:16to see if guys try to, you know, when they're going down,
03:19to put all weight on them and press through the ground on them to hurt them.
03:26But they call these.
03:28We're not the only one.
03:29They call them.
03:30You know, they show it, and they go, yeah, this is the rule.
03:33What's a bad rule?
03:34I'm not even blaming the officials on this.
03:36It's just – and it happens to other guys.
03:40All the guys that get a lot of sacks get a couple a year, it seems like, all of them.
03:46But you do everything, and you're looking at it, and you go, well,
03:49he didn't hit them helmet-to-helmet.
03:50They're going to call that.
03:51Or if his hand goes through and hits him in the head, they call that every time.
03:55Anything with the head for quarterbacks, they're going to call.
03:59They just are.
04:00Used to drive Jason Taylor frigging nuts.
04:04And so this one, I just don't know.
04:07Bo called me, and he's been on this too.
04:10He goes, what's he supposed to do?
04:12And I go, Bo, you know.
04:13And he goes, no, man, it's impossible.
04:14Well, you know, Bo didn't have him when he was playing.
04:17But it's a tough one, man.
04:20It's also Mahomes, which is –
04:21It wouldn't have mattered, though.
04:23It could have been a lot of starting quarterbacks.
04:25I know everybody's hitting me with the protect Mahomes.
04:28They're always going to protect Mahomes.
04:29And that's fine.
04:30They do that to – every star gets – you know that.
04:33I mean, MJ got his calls.
04:35Hey, man.
04:35Ron gets his calls.
04:36Before you go to basketball, there's a lot of guys making $50 million a year.
04:41There's a whole bunch of quarterbacks in the 50-plus club.
04:45And there's some good young quarterbacks.
04:47There's one Mahomes, though, man.
04:49You know he's going to get the benefit of the doubt on a play like that.
04:53Yes, I feel like he is going to get calls.
04:55It's very unfortunate.
04:56The guy did put his – you know, Chop put his arms out and tried to, you know, do something.
05:01But – and it's a very tough play, too, physically for him because you're right.
05:06The guy – you know, Mahomes is moving forward into his throw.
05:08Well, and the other part of that thing is you start arm-tackling these big quarterbacks.
05:13The Josh Allen's world don't go down.
05:16They just go – they turn into Larry Zonka.
05:19They don't go down.
05:21So, I – you know.
05:23Game is not designed for the defensive linemen, man.
05:26Well, that's why those guys are special, the ones that still find a way to get 15, 16 sacks a
05:34season
05:34and all those quarterback hits, you know, that are so important.
05:38That was a quarterback hit.
05:39It wasn't going to be a sack.
05:40He got rid of the ball.
05:42But it was a great play because he forced him into making a bad throw,
05:46and I think the ball kind of got tipped as he came in.
05:49It definitely did.
05:51And it definitely bothered the throw, but people are paying to see – they're paying to see 15.
05:55They're not paying to see the defensive linemen, unfortunately.
05:58No, no, no, no, man.
05:59You know how that business works.
06:00I heard the frustration.
06:02As soon as I got out, people are going to, come on, man.
06:04We got Mahomed a little bit today.
06:06I said, yeah, we got Mahomed.
06:07You and every other team in the AFC.
06:10So, anyway, and you're right.
06:12Listen, he is good for – he is good for business, and I'm not denying it.
06:17It's just this call has happened – it happens to the best pass rushers.
06:22They go through the same thing going, hey, man, they're paying me –
06:24you know, I got a $200 million contract over here, and I just – you know.
06:28But, boy, it is a difficult job being a pass rusher.
06:33I'm serious.
06:34And I – it's –
06:37You just knew it was coming.
06:38I mean, he gets body slammed.
06:40The ref's right there.
06:41He starts looking up and yelling at him, and it's like, you know.
06:43Yeah.
06:44You knew that was coming.
06:45Yeah.
06:45It's just a –
06:48And fair as a job.
06:49I don't know how you make that play, but –
06:52Well, look, it's a lot easier to get a sack when you're coming around the outside
06:56and you hit him from a corner where you can put your shoulder into him
07:00and most of your body falls off him.
07:01Most of your body falls to the ground,
07:04and you make a nice strong hit on the quarterback where he goes down with him
07:08or from behind where you can just tackle him or he starts to protect himself.
07:13But that one throwing right into his face is a tough one, man.
07:18First of all, you can't hit him high.
07:20You can't helmet to helmet.
07:21If your hands come in, get your hands up because you've got to get your hands up
07:25because you're trying to – if he is going to throw it and you don't get there,
07:27you want to bat the ball away or hopefully he can't see where he wants to throw it.
07:33But there's just so many things.
07:35I mean, if your hand hits the helmet, if you're helmet to helmet, you're toast.
07:39That's an easy 15 and keeps the drive going.
07:43Someone said, how about Willis got his helmet ripped off.
07:46There was no penalty called.
07:47That was terrible too, by the way.
07:49He's not Mahomes.
07:50No, he's not.
07:52There's a good chance.
