00:11Today I'm watching movies all day or sporting events,
00:16and I hope you got outside a little bit there.
00:19But anyway, we say happy Monday morning to everybody.
00:22So the Canes in a wild one, Florida State and Clemson.
00:27Really curious about that game.
00:30Apparently it wasn't good enough.
00:31Clemson ends up winning that game, 36-24,
00:35and Florida State makes the move.
00:39Mike Norvell out as head coach of Florida State.
00:45So not good.
00:47Florida, by the way, turns the ball over four times against Georgia.
00:51Three picks.
00:52By the way, both teams.
00:53Florida State and Florida have one thing in common this week.
00:56They both turned the ball over four times.
00:59Ashton Daniels, three picks in a fumble against Clemson's defense.
01:04So not a good one for him either.
01:07And going to the Miami Dolphins from yesterday.
01:11Got off to a great 13-3 at the half, man.
01:1313-3.
01:14Had a nice drive.
01:15Go down and score.
01:17And then couldn't get a first down in the third quarter.
01:21And Drake May, damn near perfect.
01:26I didn't see what the number, but it looked darn near perfect.
01:30The pass protection was good.
01:32They got their running game going a little bit.
01:34And ended up scoring 21 straight points.
01:38And that would be the difference.
01:40Malik throws a touchdown pass late, but not enough.
01:4324-19.
01:45The final in the game.
01:48And I just, again, this sounds like a broken record.
01:53Like, that's right there.
01:56If they don't play almost perfect with what they have right now.
02:00And so many young guys.
02:02I know it's like a broken record.
02:03Whether it's an Ollie Gordon unsportsmanlike conduct penalty.
02:07Instead of third and five, you got third and 20.
02:10Can't do that.
02:12Cannot do that.
02:13And I know a lot was made of that.
02:16That wasn't the only problem they had, though.
02:18I mean, there was plenty to go around.
02:21But Ollie Gordon and TV did a great job.
02:25And if you were at the game, you could watch it.
02:27There was, you know, when he loses it, it takes him a second to get it back.
02:35And by the way, he went from head coach to his coach to a couple veteran players,
02:42including Malik Willis, who came over to him.
02:45And I like, you know, I like what's said.
02:48But Ollie Gordon understands it.
02:50And now he's going to have everybody in the league.
02:53Everybody.
02:54And I'm not going to sit here and rip Ollie Gordon.
02:56He's one of your best players.
02:57He is.
02:58He's been the biggest pleasant surprise on this team, the way he's running the football.
03:06Even yesterday.
03:07And sometimes he was running into a wall.
03:10Because I thought their defensive line really, really did a good job against our offensive line.
03:15From as good as our offensive line was the week before against the Jets.
03:19And I know Proctor was out yesterday.
03:22But not a great day.
03:24Especially Jonas Savai and I inside.
03:26I thought really struggled.
03:29And now, look, they got a $90,000,000,000 guy there in the middle.
03:33And they got some really good defensive linemen.
03:36That's a good defense.
03:37And they got after us.
03:38They got after us and made it hard to do anything.
03:41But Ollie Gordon is a big piece of any success we have had or are having or going to have
03:49in the future.
03:51But now he's got guys going to yap to him.
03:54And I don't know what he said.
03:56I have no idea.
03:57But it's not the first time.
03:59And when you get a reputation of this, the league and the officials all talk.
04:05They all know you're a hothead.
04:09And going off the field and whatever you're saying, you got to be careful.
04:13I don't expect he's going to stop his style and his personality.
04:18But there are certain things you can say and not say.
04:21And those guys on the defenses you're going to be playing against are going to try to go to you,
04:25man.
04:26They're going to bait you.
04:27They're going to bait you every chance they get by saying something that might get you an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty.
04:37And so it was kind of – I knew right away, by the way, TV, the best at it, right?
04:42After those things happened, now everybody wants to see Halfley talking to his running back.
04:48And then after they're done, he walks down.
04:50And now they keep the picture on him.
04:52So now you go to your position coach.
04:55And he's like, you know, can't have it.
04:57You know, can't have that.
04:58And so now he's drawn with him.
05:01And then Malik, hey, man, did a great job.
05:06Malik Willis going over and said, listen, man, I got your back and everything, but you're dead ass wrong for
05:13what you did.
05:14That was dead ass wrong.
05:15Third and 20.
05:17We're having trouble on third and four, let alone third and 20.
05:21Can't have it.
05:21We got no shot.
05:23We're looking to get first downs.
05:25We can't do that.
05:27Can't happen.
05:29And so that was, that was a huge one.
05:34But they play hard.
05:35They fought.
05:36They fought to stay in the game after, you know, things went south on them.
05:40And the third quarter didn't have a first down.
05:42Defense started giving up some plays.
05:45And then Drake May got it rolling.
05:48And it got away from a couple plays.
05:50All of a sudden, the pocket looked a little cleaner.
05:54And he's able to make some throws down the field.
05:57And next thing you know, one team looks like a team that was in the Super Bowl, even with some
06:02guys missing outside.
06:04And the Dolphins just, if they're going to win games, now they're going to hang around.
06:09They're going to hang around everybody.
06:10I thought that before.
06:11I said, you know, I don't know what the spread was last week.
06:13I said, no, no, they're going to hang around.
06:16They're not backing down.
06:18And they'll have some guys that have great performances.
06:21They've got guys that are making plays.
06:23I don't know how they're playing overall, but Jordan Phillips was active.
06:27Brooks and Rodriguez were active.
06:29Uche and Chop.
06:30Chop had a couple of sacks.
06:31Uche had a couple of nice plays.
06:33So, they're getting the most.
06:36I think they're getting coached.
06:37I think the system they're running is really good.
06:39Both sides giving them a chance until they get more horsepower on both sides of the ball.
06:48And so, that's where we are, man.
06:51And if special teams, you miss a field goal, and I'm not blaming special teams, but we very seldom are
07:00winning on special teams.
07:02Now, we had a nice return.
07:04Wright had a nice return.
07:06But they start the game on a 26-yard punt return, I believe it was.
07:13So, they start their first drive at the 50.
07:17And this has happened like three or four times this year.
07:20Like, you know.
07:22And, again, I know 26 yards are 26-yard plays.
07:26But, yeah, I want to see them where they do it against the defense, not special teams.
07:31So, that just gets frustrating.
07:34You miss a field goal.
07:37And those things.
07:39So, you just need more.
07:40You just need more.
07:41Listen, they had some nice cover, some other plays on the punts.
07:45They had great timing, made some nice plays.
07:49But, you need to win.
07:51Like, last week against the Jets, your offense really played well.
07:56Dominated.
07:56Really dominated.
07:57And you got enough from everybody else, and it was good.
08:00Got a huge play.
08:01A couple of huge plays from the defense.
08:03A couple of great stops towards the end of the game that were really the difference.
08:07But, if they don't get that from somebody or a dominant performance from special somebody, it's going to be hard
08:18for them.
08:19They'll hang around, but it's hard to get wins.
08:21Because we still don't have the experience with these young guys or talent overall to, we're going to go on
08:31the field.
08:31And, even that team yesterday with a couple guys out, that's a Super Bowl team a year ago.
08:37And, they look like it in the second half.
08:39They look like it.
08:40You saw a lot of those guys go, man, don't lie, I saw all those guys last week.
08:44Got full secondary back yesterday.
08:47And, just shorthanded a wide receiver.
08:50Although, a lot of those guys are going to be coming back before the end of the season for them.
08:54For the Patriots have even a better passing game.
08:58So, that was it, man.

09:04Man, it was a crazy, crazy day.

09:08Hey, you know who may be the best story in football right now in the NFL?
09:13It might be the quarterback for the Las Vegas Raiders.

09:18I thought he was done in Atlanta.
