00:00you were never given tomorrow. There is a particular kind of tiredness that comes from
00:12a mind that will not stop working. You have gone over the conversation four times. You have planned
00:19what to say if it goes badly, and then planned what to say if it goes badly in a different
00:24way.
00:25You are exhausted, and nothing has actually happened yet. Jesus said something about this
00:31that is easy to read past. Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.
00:37Each day has enough trouble of its own. Notice he does not say tomorrow will be fine.
00:43He says tomorrow will worry about itself, it arrives carrying its own weight,
00:48and you will not be facing it alone when it does. What he is asking you to put down is
00:54not
00:54planning, and not wisdom. It is the attempt to carry a day that has not been given to you yet.
01:01Here is why your mind cannot solve it. You are working with half the information.
01:07Tomorrow's facts are not in. So the mind circles, gathering nothing, and calls it preparation.
01:13This is not a character flaw. It is a mind doing what minds do, trying to protect you.
01:20But it is protecting you from something that mostly never comes, and charging you today's peace to do
01:26it. You have what you need for today. That is not a small thing. It is the exact promise.
01:33Today's step. When the spiral starts, ask one question, is this about today, or have I crossed
01:40into tomorrow? You do not have to fix the thought. Just notice which day you are standing in,
01:52a imaginative darkness, I will take the thought, and have to make sure you are starting out,
01:53orindoor, having to come, at the direction of the room? Well, the opposite is the last time.
