00:01Welcome to the last day of the exhibition at Manila Cathedral
00:04on the replica of the Shroud of Turin.
00:07This is the tela that has been written by Jesus Christ
00:12of Shai Ilibing.
00:14Here we go and watch it.
00:21A tela that has been a long time
00:23that has been a long time for many years
00:25that has been an interest in people's lives.
00:29Now, there are many Filipino people
00:31that are more recognized
00:32because of a exhibit at Manila Cathedral.
00:36This is the Shroud of Turin,
00:38the tela that has been written by Jesus Christ.
00:41This year,
00:42the 50th anniversary of the Philippians
00:46is the replica of the Shroud of Turin.
00:48Because of this exhibit,
00:50it has been a long time
00:52to return
00:52to a great place for many Christians.
00:57We go back to the Gaspels
00:59that when Jesus died,
01:01Joseph of Arimathea
01:02provided for the burial cloth of Jesus.
01:05And the Shroud of Turin
01:06is believed to be that burial cloth.
01:09When regards to the exhibit,
01:1050 years ago,
01:11an Italian syndonologist
01:13by the name of Monsignor Gullio Ricci
01:16came to the Philippines
01:17and promoted the devotion to the Shroud.
01:20Maraming tao noon,
01:22dito rin sa Manila Cathedral.
01:24Hanggang ngayon,
01:25pinag-aaralan pa rin
01:26kung paano nabuo ang larawan sa tela
01:28at kung ano ang tunay nitong pinagmulan.
01:31This is a full-size replica
01:33of the Shroud of Turin.
01:35Approximately,
01:36it's 14 feet by 4 feet.
01:38Ang makikita natin,
01:39yung triangular patches
01:41which are actually burn holes
01:43because of the 1532 fire.
01:46At dahil nga may sunog,
01:48ang tendency is to douse it with water.
01:50So meron tayong water stains
01:52or water marks.
01:53This is blood stains from the wrist
01:55up to his arms
01:56because of the nail.
01:59From the crown of thorns,
02:00from the arteries,
02:01and from the veins,
02:02eto sa likod ng crown of thorns,
02:04from the scourging at the pillar.
02:07And lastly,
02:08the image.
02:10Tinatanong,
02:10paano nabuo yung image sa Shroud?
02:12This is dorsal o likod,
02:15and this is frontal,
02:17eto nga yung face,
02:18kasi Jesus was covered
02:20anointing stone,
02:22yung tela,
02:23katawan,
02:24yung kahahati ng tela,
02:26itinaklob kay Jesus.
02:28That's why ganun siya kahaba.
02:30Bukod sa replika ng Shroud of Turin,
02:32may iba pa rin relics
02:34na nagpapakilala
02:35sa mahabang kasaysayan
02:36ng pananampalatayang Kristiyano
02:37para sa maraming mananampalataya,
02:40higit pa sa mga tanong
02:41na hindi pa nasasagot.
02:42Ang Shroud ay paalala
02:43ng pagdurusa
02:44at pagkamatay ni Jesus
02:46at ng pag-asa
02:47na kaugnay
02:48ng kanyang muling pagkabuhay.
02:50Mahalaga sa amin
02:50yung mga pangyayari
02:52ng mga nakaraan.
02:54Kagaya niyan,
02:55hindi naman namin
02:55alam yan.
02:56So ngayon,
02:57at least,
02:58magkakaroon kami ng idea talaga
02:59at malalaman namin
03:00kung ano
03:01ang ibig sabihin
03:02ng Shroud of Turin.
03:04From Claridel,
03:05dinayo namin yan
03:05para lang na masaksihan
03:07ng personal makita.
03:10Ang Shroud of Turin ay higit pa
03:12sa pagkilala
03:13sa isang mahalagang bahagi
03:14na kasaysayan
03:15ng simbahan.
03:15Isa rin itong paanyaya
03:17sa bawat isa
03:18na muling balikan
03:19at palalimin
03:20ang kanilang pananampalataya
03:21sa bawat pagtanaw,
03:23pagninilay,
03:24at panalangin
03:25na may mas tungibay
03:27ang pananampalataya
03:28at mas maramdaman
03:29ang presensya ng Diyos
03:30sa ating buhay.
