00:07which is a popular neighborhood in the city of Cali.
00:12And they are part of a movement that exists throughout Latin America and also in other parts of the world,
00:20where evangelical Christians, in their reading of the Old Testament,
00:26They are inspired by the theme of lifestyle, how the ancient Israelites lived.
00:32And they want to adopt that lifestyle, to implement it in their neighborhoods, in their communities
00:40and leave Christianity and reinvent themselves as Orthodox Jews, with Hebrew names,
00:48with Orthodox attire, with the Orthodox diet.
00:56In these communities in Cali, there are around seven communities of converts.
01:02who create their own synagogues and dream of emigrating to Israel
01:09because they feel that's where they'll be able to live life to the fullest.
01:14And for a year we followed a family from Guaval in their quest to emigrate to Israel
01:23and all the consequences and the whole adventure, the whole journey that is the odyssey.
