00:00Hello there and a very good morning to you on this Monday morning. It's cold across the
00:04north. We're seeing rain though push from England and Wales towards southern Scotland
00:09through the day. Here's that weather front bringing that cloud, showery burst but some
00:13brighter breaks coming through. However the bigger picture through into Tuesday we have
00:18two weather fronts, one affecting more central and eastern areas and one gradually moving
00:23in from the west. Now through this morning here's that arc of cloud and rain. It's slowly
00:29moving towards southern Scotland, clearing much of Wales, showery though towards the
00:34west country and we'll see brighter breaks coming through as we head through into lunchtime.
00:39We hang on to fine weather across central, northern and western Scotland. Northern Ireland as well
00:43seeing some sunny skies. You can see the brisk breeze though associated with this arc of
00:48cloud and showery rain. Now through the afternoon temperatures only slowly rising after a chilly
00:54one across Scotland and Northern Ireland with some mist and fog patches. Yes you'll see temperatures
00:59gradually rise to probably around 10 to 12, 13 degrees Celsius. Across England and Wales 14 or 15,
01:07even 16 towards the southeast. But notice a bit of a breeze coming in along this eastern coast here
01:12and a breeze also for the far west of Scotland. Now into this evening and overnight we continue to watch
01:19as this cloud and rain pushes across central and eastern Scotland. It's all connected to a system towards
01:25the south where we'll see cloud develop with outbreaks of rain into the early hours of Tuesday morning.
01:31Further west that's where the lowest temperatures will be under some starry skies even so quite a breeze
01:37so not as cold as it has been certainly over the weekend. We saw a fairly widespread frost even so
01:42temperatures could dip down to mid single figures across some rural spots. Hanging on to probably 10 to 11,
01:4912 across more central and eastern areas of England. Scotland coming in along that east coast probably
01:5411 degrees as well. So through Tuesday this weather front here continues to deliver cloud and also some
02:02outbreaks of rain. Notice it's developing from the south so we could see more persistent rain later.
02:08A slither of sunshine central and western areas of Wales. The west country not doing too badly at all.
02:13Western Scotland there were fresh wind developing here. Now for Northern Ireland it's really the east of
02:19the province where you'll hang on to that dry weather but the cloud rolling in and also some outbreaks
02:24of rain with a strengthening wind. Temperatures again probably struggling up to 12, 13, 14 degrees
02:31Celsius and the winds will pick up some strength especially across central and eastern areas of
02:35Scotland the northeast of England as well. So that's a picture on Tuesday afternoon. Now as we head
02:42through into Wednesday we do have weather fronts across much of the UK bringing some outbreaks of
02:47rain. Some brighter breaks across Northern Ireland and it could turn a bit showery towards the west
02:53as well as the southwest as well. But temperatures will struggle 10 to 14 degrees Celsius and the weather
02:59could ramp up further as we head through Friday and into the weekend. I'll see you again soon.
