00:00Michelle with tonight's
00:00weather forecast. Thanks
00:03these Trinidad and Tobago.
00:05Good evening. I hope you
00:07guys got some rest and
00:08relaxed this weekend, even
00:10though it was hot for the
00:11most part, but today was
00:13much cooler. Let's talk
00:14about it. Due to a low level
00:17drop, scattered showers and
00:19thunderstorms affected parts
00:20of Trinidad's southern half
00:22with activity forecast between
00:24Penal and Guayagari. Other
00:26areas got brief showers and
00:28cloudy skies. And tonight
00:30will have you covering your
00:32toes under the sheets because
00:33it may get a bit chilly. The
00:36Met Office says initially fair
00:38conditions and rainfall activity
00:40will happen and will gradually
00:42increase as the night progresses.
00:45There's a chance of thunderstorm
00:46activity after midnight. So for
00:48the rain lovers, you might just
00:50be in for a treat. And for
00:52those of you who complained about
00:53the heat all weekend, here's some
00:56more good news. The Met Office says
00:58to expect party cloudy to cloudy
01:00conditions with occasional
01:01showers with thunderstorm activity
01:03possible during the morning to early
01:06afternoon. Now conditions will
01:08become increasingly settled and
01:09transition to mostly fair by late
01:12afternoon. Daytime temperatures
01:14will reach up to 33 degrees in
01:16Trinidad and 32 over in
01:18Tobago. Now make sure to enjoy
01:20those cool conditions because
01:21Wednesday and Thursday are coming
01:24in hot with predominantly hot and
01:26sunny conditions that may be
01:28interrupted by partly cloudy
01:30spells and some more showers. Let's
01:32take a look at our sun times now. In
01:35Trinidad, sunrises at 555 and 552
01:38over in Tobago and sunset at
01:40546 in Trinidad and 542 in
01:43Tobago. And if you missed your
01:45chance to visit the beach this
01:46weekend and headed there
01:48tomorrow, seas will be slight to
01:50moderate with waves one meter to
01:521.5 meters in open waters and below
01:54one meter choppy in showers and
01:57sheltered areas. But exercise
01:58caution because occasional long
02:01period swells may cause temporary
02:03agitation to near shore conditions,
02:06particularly along northern
02:08coastlines. It's now time for your
02:19Thai times turn into international
02:21weather. Now here's what's happening
02:23around the world in 30 seconds. In
02:26Spain, torrential rainfall from
02:28storm Adam has triggered deadly
02:30flooding, claiming at least three
02:32lives. Streets have been inundated,
02:34residents rescued from rooftops and
02:36thousands evacuated as more heavy
02:38rain threatens affected communities.
02:41Meanwhile, in the western Pacific,
02:43super typhoon Champi has intensified
02:46into a powerful category five
02:48equivalent system packing sustained
02:50winds near 160 miles per hour. The
02:53storm has disrupted operations
02:55around Guam and the northern
02:57Mariana Islands, but it is now
03:00moving away from those islands. And
03:02in South America, heavy rainfall has
03:04caused rivers to overflow across parts
03:06of Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay.
03:09Thousands have been forced from their
03:11homes while farmers move livestock to
03:14higher ground as authorities warn of
03:16continued flooding. Well, that's all for
03:19weather tonight. Your sports news is up

03:23Coming up after the break, TNT youth
03:26footballers give and send off ahead of
03:28FIFA Under 15 World Cup Festival in
03:31Azerbaijan. Cricket analysts impressed by
03:35Wendy's performance in India but stopped
03:37short at turning the corner. And
