The Delhi government has formulated a comprehensive winter action plan to curb air pollution, scheduled to remain in effect from November 1 to February 28. Under the initiative, the administration will enforce a 'no PUC, no fuel' policy and restrict the entry of non-BS6 compliant vehicles registered outside the national capital. Authorities will also introduce stringent measures to monitor construction dust using artificial intelligence-powered cameras. Additional interventions include an emphasis on 50 per cent work from home alongside the promotion of public transport, including buses, the metro, and last-mile connectivity, aiming to secure clean air and reduce seasonal toxic emissions across Delhi.
