00:00Now, back to Stiney and Guru on 95.7 The Game.
00:06All righty.
00:07Welcome back.
00:08It's time for the crossover brought to you by Bay Alarm.
00:10Rest easy.
00:10We've got you covered.
00:11Bayalarm.com.
00:12Let's welcome in Willard and Dibbs, both of whom were at the game yesterday.
00:17The 49ers-23-17 win over the Commanders.
00:20How you doing, boys?
00:22It's so good.
00:23Yeah.
00:24Yeah.
00:24Dub City, baby.
00:25It's Victory Tuesday.
00:27Come on.
00:28Yeah.
00:28Yeah.
00:29Good to see you in person, Stiney.
00:31Oh, thank you.
00:32Yeah, I didn't like yesterday.
00:33I mean, you guys are having business, but I want to try to see them.
00:36I hate when somebody comes back.
00:37They don't get to see them.
00:38Yeah.
00:39It was a big day.
00:39We got the finals in town.
00:41We got the Monday Night Football in town.
00:44Yeah.
00:44And we couldn't be face-to-face and break a little bread.
00:48Walk me through your thoughts, though, both of you at the game,
00:51when the Commanders had the ball like,
00:54man, this could pop off to where they could take the lead.
00:57I was shocked.
00:58I'm never shocked in it.
01:00Like, this is what the witching hour, like, this is what we do.
01:05This is what the NFL does.
01:08So, no, I'm not shocked.
01:10I think I get everybody's concern.
01:13Mike Evans goes out.
01:14The offense stops.
01:15We'll figure that out.
01:16We'll figure that out.
01:17We'll talk it all out.
01:18All of that.
01:19But I just kept thinking to myself, no.
01:23I'm not going to lose, right?
01:25Not the Commanders.
01:27Like, no, that doesn't.
01:28But my man broke for a touchdown with the face.
01:31I said, wow.
01:33I was actually thinking of it in a different way because, shout out Kalshi, trade on anything.
01:38Had a little combo going.
01:40I had Valks to the under.
01:42Okay.
01:43In condolences to their offense.
01:45And I feel bad for the Chase Center rims because they were hurling it with anger and emotion.
01:51Wow.
01:52I had George Kittle anytime touchdown.
01:54Look at him.
01:54What happened before?
01:56I wasn't even at the seat yet.
01:57I was walking in and you hear the, and then the, and I'm like, oh, Niners scored.
02:04I wonder whom.
02:05And then I had just the Niners to win.
02:08Just win, baby.
02:10So you had a good night.
02:11Well, I had the combo.
02:12And with Kalshi, you can trade out.
02:14You know, you're going against peers in a live market.
02:17And so I'm sitting next to Chase and Victor, two of our great co-workers.
02:21I love them.
02:21And Burks picks up that 30-yarder.
02:24They're down six.
02:24And now they're on the move.
02:25And, you know, they're like, you can't, you can't trade out of it.
02:28You can't dip out.
02:29You can't hedge.
02:30And they're, you know, name calling and whatever.
02:32I'm like, whoop.
02:33And so I, I dipped.
02:35Yeah.
02:35You dipped.
02:36I dipped.
02:37And it cost me about maybe 8% of what I would have won.
02:40I'm upset at you.
02:41I felt good about it.
02:42I know.
02:43You should.
02:43It's so funny that you and I were having a similar experience except for I was being
02:48heckled by my wife.
02:49The lovely Christy saw me pull the phone out because my combo was also Niners to win and
02:54McCaffrey, 60 rushing yards.
02:57I don't know if you know this.
02:58He was stuck on 59 for about 45 minutes.
03:01Oh, wow.
03:01And then he finally, they get the ball, up six, try to run the clock out, hand him the
03:06ball, straight into a brick wall.
03:08Now he's at 59 still.
03:10It wasn't until that last toss left.
03:13Come on, man.
03:14But then I still needed the Niners to win.
03:15So I opened it up and I looked at the swipe out.
03:18She's like, you're not going to cash out, are you?
03:21I was like, no.
03:24So I didn't.
03:26Right.
03:27And we won.
03:28It's awesome.
03:28McCaffrey got 64 yards and the Niners won.
03:31That last six yarder.
03:33Yep.
03:33That was the key.
03:34Never a doubt.
03:35I thought they were going to throw that.
03:36And I was like, people don't call us being conservative.
03:38But I was like, man, it was getting tight.
03:40You can't throw it.
03:41Man, it would have been a timeout if it was incomplete.
03:43You can't throw that thing unless, yeah, unless it's just sort of like a, you know,
03:48an illustrious screenplay or whatever.
03:49Well, he threw on the second play on that drive.
03:51Same thing.
03:52It was a quick little safety.
03:53It was one of those, like, you think, almost for sure completions.
03:57Yeah.
03:57Just trying to get Christian some space.
03:59I got what they were doing there, but.
04:01The defense is growing up right before our eyes.
04:03I told Stiney it wasn't perfect, but they closed that out like they did Seattle, man.
04:08We're watching it, to me.
04:10Draft feels like it was a home run.
04:14That's my take on the defense.
04:16Draft feels like a freaking grand slam.
04:19Dunger.
04:20Horton.
04:20Hite.
04:21Mustafa.
04:22I mean, Ronnie Lott.
04:23What's going on with him?
04:24And forget the OGs, like, Fred, I'm going to use my hat.
04:28It's like a hat.
04:28Fred didn't use it.
04:29He didn't have any of those.
04:30Put it on him.
04:31He's putting it on, people.
04:32Hey, but you didn't hear.
04:33He was disgusted.
04:34They picked up the flag.
04:34I heard that he was disgusted.
04:36It sounds like this is just every Monday night for Troy right now.
04:39He's pissed off at something.
04:40Well, it was like half the third quarter and all of the fourth was basically them talking
04:44about the refs.
04:45And for, I mean, it was justified.
04:47I thought the officiating crew and I'm captain support the refs, but they were awful in the
04:52fourth quarter throwing stuff and picking it up.
04:55It is missing blatant stuff and stuff like Fred.
04:58He goes helmet to helmet.
05:00You throw the flag.
05:01No, there's no foul.
05:02And then he does it two plays later and you don't flag it.
05:05And then holding on their touchdown.
05:08And then you pick that one up.
05:10Just a lot of funky stuff.
05:12I was glad to hear you guys say this because, as you know, when you're at the game, you think
05:15everything is BS.
05:17The crowd just, you yell at the refs.
05:19That's what you do.
05:20So, but you have no, there's no eight angles of replays.
05:25There's no, let's bring in Dean Blandino.
05:28And I hate that part of going.
05:29You're just sitting there with drunk people on your shoulders going, ah!
05:33Like, so I thought it was BS, but I wasn't sure.
05:37Right.
05:37But if Dibbs thinks it was BS, then it was BS.
05:39We all know that.
05:40Well, some of them were like the one on Fred.
05:42You throw it and then Fred goes to the ref who didn't actually call it.
05:47And he's like, I didn't do it.
05:48So then that ref tells the other ref, Fred's saying he didn't do it.
05:51We're going to have to pick this one up.
05:54That's terrible.
05:55Can you explain to people the actual helmet-to-helmet rules?
05:58Because it's different if it's a defenseless receiver versus if you're somebody, like the
06:03Chico Conqua one, he's got the ball and he's running.
06:07I know you still can't, you know, purposely crown on crown, but the rules are a little
06:12different, are they not?
06:13I think so.
06:13And a defenseless receiver is normally when a wide receiver's in the air.
06:17And even if you, you know, go at somebody in that, in that pose, it doesn't have to
06:21be helmet-to-helmet, but like the first one on Fred, you can't go in there and just lead
06:25with your helmet and hit the other guy in the helmet.
06:28And he did that twice in three plays.
06:30No call.
06:31He'll be receiving a memo from the league.
06:34He'll get more than a memo.
06:35It's an envelope.
06:35No, you're right.
06:36It probably is.
06:37Oh, you think they'll get a job?
06:38Oh, yes, no doubt.
06:39Happens all the time.
06:40I mean, Marquis Siegel got, he got fined for what we spent all week saying was the greatest
06:45hit ever on Jackson Smith and Jigba and helped win the game.
06:49Then he got fined.
06:50Well.
06:51So, like, they admit wrong in non-flag situations all the time.
06:56Yeah.
06:58You might even see Odigizua get a fine for that roughing the passer because that was
07:04him using his helmet to hit the quarterback.
07:07So, he was flagged.
07:08He also might catch a fine for that as well.
07:10You never know.
07:11I mean, on the touchdown run that would have tied it with the extra point, putting Washington
07:17ahead, you know, he scores, and you just got to wait these days.
07:23You just got to wait for it to become official, and then they call it, and as soon as they
07:28call it, I'm like, I just hope it's egregious.
07:32You know what I mean?
07:32Like, I just can't.
07:34And it was.
07:35Like, you had to call the face.
07:36That was the one with the face, man.
07:37That was a real one.
07:38And there was the Aston Davis play.
07:39I thought that was a little ticky-tack.
07:41That one was ticky-tack, and we were, that one was weird, I can tell you.
07:45He was having a rough night.
07:46Well, and being in the stands, and we were on the other end of the field from that play,
07:50we were, I mean, we were a minute and a half into celebration mode before we even realized
07:56there's a flag on the field.
07:58The Niners' entire defense came down to the other end zone.
08:02Celebrate.
08:03That was a good event.
08:04This point, that's it.
08:06They're going, yeah, we won the game, y'all.
08:08It's Friday.
08:08And everybody, beers flying everywhere.
08:11And I'm licking my weight, and I'm like, wait a minute, what?
08:14It felt like the longest wait.
08:16And then the refs were like, yeah, we got some illegal contact out here.
08:19Like, what?
08:19To make up for the spread.
08:21Oh, 10 minutes ago.
08:21Yeah, I thought that was a make-up call, Dibs.
08:23It was a.
08:24Troy Aikman, you guys in here, again, he was upset that they picked up that helmet-to-helmet
08:29on Fred, and I felt like that illegal contact was like a lightweight make-up call for the
08:34commanders.
08:34Well, I think that the refs probably lost track of who they had to make up for, because
08:39you go back and forth.
08:40I felt that.
08:41It's like.
08:41That's terrible.
08:42You start chasing it as a ref, and, you know, okay, we owe them one, and well, we just gave
08:46them one, but the one we gave them was too much, and now we owe them a half, and pretty
08:50soon you've kind of, you lost control of it.
08:52It was three brothers, too.
08:53I was like, I'll tell you over there.
08:55I'll tell you over there, conduct it, man.
08:58I left three uncles.
08:59But I was just like, that's not fun.
09:00And to Stiney's point, you can't celebrate a play until 15 seconds.
09:05You're like, man.
09:06You know who else owes something?
09:08Well, that's where, on the, on the, that's where, when you're at the game, you do have
09:12an advantage, because you can see the entire field, and whether there's a flag on it.
09:18On TV, you don't know.
09:19No.
09:20You're thinking, the game's over.
09:21But, like, again, yeah, your eyes get diverted, because that thing felt so delayed.
09:26And the whole, like I said, the whole defense runs the length of the field, and everybody's
09:30dancing, and they're pointing, and they're giving it to each other, and you're like,
09:34Niners won the game.
09:35And then the ref comes, it's almost like they come out of a booth or something.
09:39They're like, oh, hang on a second.
09:41The fun police, yeah.
09:43Seriously.
09:43Yeah, it's like a cop showing up at a party.
09:46I'm like, you guys, we're already on one over here.
09:49And kids, yeah, just make up a penalty 10 minutes later.
09:54Anyway.
09:55Romero Height with the sack negated.
09:56So his night would have been even more monster.
09:59I'm just looking at the play now, and on TV, they show you that flag.
10:03They show you that graphic between the score, and it came about three seconds after the sack.
10:08And then they cut to Shanahan, and you can see he's already, like, ready to mother jump
10:12or somebody, because it was a late flag for us on TV, and I didn't notice it from the press
10:16box if it came earlier, because I'm, you know, like most of us, we're watching the
10:20ball, you know, watching the action.
10:22I thought, uh, I thought Purdy was really good.
10:27Well, he is good.
10:28No, I mean, like last night.
10:30Yeah, I got you.
10:30You know, and I'm not, I'm not saying he's, but like, there's, like, I was watching it
10:34with a big fella, uh, uh, dibs, and I, I, there's like three or four plays where
10:40you're just like, make some plays that are just, they're impressive, is what they are.
10:48Even the one that we probably won't dwell on, the one of the Jordan Watkins, when he's
10:52got a guy basically grabbing his feet, untying his shoe, and he's falling back, and he still
10:58is able to, what does he say, throw with violence, so he's able to rip that one.
11:02He had the feet.
11:02It was an absolute dot right in between the numbers on it.
11:06Yeah, like.
11:06And he had so many passes that were just right on the money.
11:09He's just so under control.
11:10The whole thing is under control.
11:12Um, I, like, not lost on me, first half, Kyle Shanahan, the Kyle I know, fourth and
11:19three.
11:19Oh.
11:20Huh.
11:21Went for it.
11:21And I, like, you know, he's talked about this before, he's less about analytics and more
11:26about feel when it comes to stuff like that, but, you know, I, I gotta think that maybe
11:31he starts to flex his muscle on that more often than he would have before because he
11:38trusts what Purdy is gonna do.
11:40Like, they went off schedule and Purdy scrambled for it and, uh, and got the first down and
11:44they got six out of it.
11:46You're listening to 95.7 The Game, KGMZ FM and HD1 San Francisco on Odyssey Sports Station,
11:51always live on the free Odyssey app, now broadcasting from the Laughing Monk Studios.
11:55Oh, oh, oh, and maybe Kyle also doesn't trust his kicker.
11:58It's like you're reading my mind from across the table.
12:00I wasn't there.
12:00Oh, you have one more week.
12:03The bye week.
12:04I wasn't there.
12:04We haven't had any money.
12:06The bye week comes after that.
12:07He got his.
12:08Hey, if we're all.
12:09Oh, cause he's shaky.
12:10Wow.
12:10If we're gonna say, Chip's in the middle of the table, trade deadline, all in, I'm not
12:16messing around with a kicker who can't make his extra points.
12:19Imagine had you lost and that had been the point.
12:21You're playing in a dome this weekend.
12:24If you miss any short kicks, I know what I'm doing with my bye week.
12:28Wow.
12:29Jake Moody.
12:29I'm doing interviews.
12:31Apparently he was claimed today.
12:33The Ravens.
12:35Oh, he's on their squad?
12:35Yeah.
12:36Today.
12:36You're doing this whole like, hey, it's a homecoming.
12:39We'll bring them all back.
12:40Yeah.
12:41Bringing everyone back.
12:42Not him, but there are others.
12:44So you're ready.
12:44You're like, you're watching.
12:45Well, you can't have it.
12:47I like what Kyle said.
12:48You can't do it.
12:49We're not missing extra freaking points.
12:51And I kept saying it.
12:52If they lost that game 24-23, what are we doing today?
12:55Oh, man.
12:56Yeah.
12:56And perhaps we can, if we're going to show Eddie the door, maybe he and Jacob Cowling
13:03can carpool together to the unemployment line.
13:05Yeah, I don't know what he was thinking, man.
13:07You know, I've seen about enough of the punt return foibles where you're inside the five
13:14and then you muff it, you pick it up, and then you get buried.
13:17But you're trying to just make a play for a squad that you know, all right, you've numbers
13:21been called, but it ain't really so.
13:23It's almost like, I got to try to make something happen, even though I know I shouldn't catch it.
13:28Sometimes it's a play that you don't make, which is the play that turns out to be the
13:32key play.
13:33And then, I don't know if you remember the other one, he ran up to catch and he basically
13:37kind of dove into his own guy and was barely able to even corral that one.
13:41Special teams, man.
13:42It's a problem.
13:44At the game, did you think McCaffrey's brother had touched that ball on his?
13:48Oh, I did.
13:50Full speed, yes.
13:51Full speed.
13:52And then they did this weird thing, the replay at the game where they send it in, the replay,
13:56they send it in both directions.
13:57In other words, they'll replay the ball coming in and then they rewind it and they replay the
14:02ball.
14:02And the way the replay showed, the ball bounced so violently when it hit, you're like, oh,
14:08that hit a foot.
14:09Because the ball wouldn't.
14:10I'm at home thinking it hit a foot.
14:12It bounced and shot left.
14:13You're like, it definitely hit his foot.
14:14And then they slowed it down and I think it's just, that's a pigskin, man.
14:18So the party had to stop being, huh?
14:19Yeah, no, I was like it.
14:21And remind me, who picked it up?
14:24Who was the Niner that recovered it?
14:25I think it was Graham.
14:26Was it Jalen Graham?
14:27Was it Jalen Graham?
14:28Was it Jalen Graham?
14:30Duggar?
14:30No, I think you're right.
14:31I think it was Jalen Graham.
14:32Whoever it was, good on you.
14:34I love that he just grabbed it and stopped.
14:37The whole stadium's like, run, dummy!
14:40And I love when a special teams player like that knows the rules.
14:44Just, you can't advance a muff.
14:47And so, like, grab the ball and stop.
14:49I was like, that's a heady.
14:50Like, good job.
14:51Don't go get hit.
14:53You know what I mean?
14:53You can't advance a muff.
14:55No, you can't.
14:56Which is, it's always weird to me because if you catch it and you take a couple steps
15:00and you fumble, well, that can be scooped and scored, but the muff can't.
15:04That's just one that I'll have to ask my rules buddies why that that is actually a thing.
15:10Like, the muff should be a live ball.
15:11Yeah, I'm with you.
15:12Let's do it live.
15:13The three three and outs, the nine plays in the fourth quarter, is that, how do you look
15:17at that?
15:18Is that because of byproducts of Noah Evans?
15:20And am I being a scary cat?
15:22Because I said it before the game with the Achilles.
15:24You ain't playing in Atlanta, bud.
15:26You're not playing in Atlanta.
15:27Unless, what did Ross Tucker say, Norm Chow, the doctor, and we brought you up.
15:32David Chow.
15:33If rest doesn't help the Achilles.
15:35What did Norm?
15:35Norm.
15:36Norm, offensive coordinator of USC back in the day.
15:39Davey, no relation.
15:40Damn you.
15:40Yeah, but anyway.
15:41Does rest help the Achilles?
15:43Absolutely.
15:44It's tendinitis is what Kyle said after the game.
15:46So, if you don't run around and do stuff, then it's going to feel better, I would imagine.
15:53So, yeah, you got to get those two weeks in the box.
15:55I think the B-Riders on the scene last night said that the whispers were, if this goes the
16:02way they think it's going to go, we'll see them against the Raiders in two weeks.
16:06So, now you devise a game plan with all five of your receivers that you showed up with for
16:13camp in August are all going to be out.
16:16The five that you thought would be your five.
16:18Just think about that.
16:19Ricky Pearsall.
16:20Yeah.
16:20Mike Evans.
16:21Out.
16:21Dajon Stribling.
16:23Out.
16:23Debo Samuel.
16:24Out.
16:24Demarcus Robinson.
16:25Dajon Love.
16:26Out.
16:27Sure, him too.
16:28Actually, they might consider signing him.
16:30Seriously.
16:31Those are the five.
16:32And, yeah, I don't know.
16:34I don't think Robinson's going to be ready.
16:36He's the only one who's probably got a shot.
16:39But, Brandon Cooks.
16:42Okay, Kyle.
16:43Wow.
16:44And this is where I take some issue with Kyle's play calling, and we'll get deeper into it
16:48because you lose Evans, and now you're down to Cowling and Cooks, basically.
16:53And you come out after Washington scores to make it 23-10, and you go max protect.
16:58Okay.
16:59And you're going to try to make a play down the field.
17:01Purdy gets sacked.
17:02You lose nine on the play.
17:03Even though you had seven in the block against their five, and their five beat your seven,
17:08and now it's second and long, I thought, you don't have Evans, run the ball.
17:13Like, go ahead and run the ball.
17:14And McCaffrey was running.
17:15Run the clock, and he was doing pretty well.
17:16He wasn't getting huge gash yardage.
17:19But four yards a pop.
17:20I thought he got into that pattern, and then the next time they got the ball back, Purdy
17:24scrambles, then Purdy gets sacked, and you pass again, then you punt.
17:27It's like, run the ball, kid.
17:29It's what you do.
17:30I wonder if, so, you know, there's always a time when you're up, and you don't want
17:35to get too conservative, but you don't want to do something dumb.
17:39And, like, I think it was the Arizona game where the 49ers were only up a score, deep
17:45in their own territory.
17:45It was kind of late, and they moved the ball up the field.
17:49I wonder if he feels like, without Mike Evans, it's too risky at times to throw the ball to
17:59somebody else.
18:00Because, like, if you throw the ball to Mike Evans, chances are he's going to catch it.
18:04It's probably not going to get intercepted.
18:05You know what I mean?
18:06I don't know if it's, like, you know, a full, I don't know if we can get anyone else open
18:11or trust them.
18:12I don't know if they think about it that way, because it's like, if you don't like them
18:15that much, then they probably shouldn't have a jersey or be out on the field.
18:19But I think Washington deserves a little credit for what happened there in the second
18:23half, because they pin their ears back.
18:26And they're like, we're just going to blitz like crazy and speed you up, and you don't
18:30have your security blankets out there.
18:33I don't understand, and I know Ross Tucker said this to you guys, I don't understand
18:36how Brock Purdy and Mike Evans have this much chemistry this fast.
18:40It's out of control.
18:41But he doesn't have that yet, with Brandon Cooks from the street, Jacob Cowan from usual
18:47IR, Jordan Watkins, you know, also, like, these are young players.
18:51He doesn't have that, and so they sped him up.
18:54They got some sacks.
18:55The offensive line felt a little overwhelmed in that moment.
18:58And so, yeah, all you need is one sack, and you're probably going to get a punt.
19:04That's what happened twice.
19:05And I think that they went to, and I'm going to go back through it and look at how many
19:08times
19:08they went to the empty formation, which is no running backs back there with Purdy.
19:13And if you're the defense, and you see that they're going empty, then you pin your ears
19:17back, and you get after Purdy.
19:19He's not going to run a QB draw, and if McCaffrey is split out because he's one of the only
19:23people
19:24that he trusts to throw the ball to, and you had Juszczyk get split out a bunch, and so
19:28now you're going with nobody in the backfield, and that's when they were getting after him.
19:31I think also there was maybe a would-be first down to George on one of those, and it was
19:37a good play by the defense, but he had two hands on it.
19:40He could have held it, and that would have moved them up to about midfield.
19:45If he would have caught that ball, that would have been an incredible play from Purdy.
19:51That was unbelievable, really.
19:54And it was a tough catch.
19:55It was a tough catch for Kittle, but it would have been a highlight scramble and throw.
20:03You know, I say this all the time.
20:04I repeat myself, but I love when we get to see a player every game instead of, you know,
20:12he's on another team, and you're familiar.
20:14Like Mike Evans, yeah, I've known him.
20:16Mike Evans, look at the numbers.
20:18You know, I play fantasy football.
20:19I see him once in a while in Tampa Bay.
20:22But we've learned more about Mike Evans in six games than most casual fans have known
20:29for 12 years.
20:30I love that you said this today, because while you were gone, I had said to the guys, this
20:35was after the Seattle game, I had said to the guys that from a technical standpoint, from
20:41the finer points of wide receivering in the NFL, this is the best wide receiver the Niners
20:47have had since Jerry Rice.
20:48And the reason I said that is because of what you're saying, which is that I didn't, like,
20:53yeah, we know Mike Evans, but I've not had a chance to watch every little thing that he
20:59does out on a football field until these are five or six games, and it has ratcheted up
21:04the impressiveness of what he does out there at a tremendous level.
21:09I mean, I was thinking about, oh, why do they have such a connection?
21:12And this is going to, this will probably sound fawning over Brock Purdy, but okay, you got
21:17Mike Evans, the quintessential, you know, great route runner, great hand strong.
21:22All right.
21:23Brock Purdy.
21:23What's he known?
21:24Like, he kind of quarterbacks like a veteran quarterback.
21:28He's a good decision maker.
21:30And it's almost like it's two veterans who are playing together, who have watched each
21:38other for 10 years on opposite side, and they just have it.
21:41And I don't know, there's, I think what, I think here's where you may be right.
21:46I think maybe deep down inside, Brock Purdy's like, oh my God, this guy's great.
21:51Like, this guy's great.
21:52And he knows where he's supposed to be, right?
21:54And think about, think about how many receivers Purdy's run through during his tenure with
22:00the 49ers.
22:01Well, even Jawan Jennings, like, he would run the route in a certain way, and Brock would
22:06trust that he was going to be in the spot where he needed to be.
22:09And Brandon Ayuk, too, when he was still playing football, I think he does the same things.
22:13And McCaffrey, certainly, when he runs out and runs that option route or the choice route,
22:18and Purdy can look at the defender, and he already knows which way he's going to break,
22:22because if the defender's shaded one way, he's going the other.
22:25And so, when you get Cowing and Watkins, who aren't as experienced and probably don't
22:29run the same level of precise routes, Brock Purdy gets to his back foot, and he's thinking,
22:34oh, Schmidt, you're not where you're supposed to be.
22:37You're supposed to be already cutting down the middle, but you're not.
22:40And so, what do I do now?
22:42And, you know, everything starts to collapse on him.
22:44Remember when last night was going to be the Brandon Ayuk revenge game?
22:48Man, remember that?
22:49It was going to be the Debo game.
22:50He got hurt.
22:51I mean, I don't know that Debo wants revenge on Washington.
22:54I sent you guys all that video of you playing full court.
22:56You can see it.
22:57It's not bad.
22:59It's not bad.
23:00I mean, he's a professional athlete.
23:01Right.
23:01Or used to be.
23:03I asked you that earlier.
23:04It's not bad.
23:05I mean, I saw that one.
23:06Like, that was one that interested me.
23:08Had a block from behind him.
23:10Hey, McLaurin's out for the year.
23:12They can still call him.
23:14Hey, we worried about the Valkyries before we get out of here?
23:16I'm a big cadet.
23:17Dream has my attention.
23:18Define worry.
23:21Sure they could lose.
23:22Sure.
23:23Well, I guess that's what I'm putting down.
23:25I just, if this doesn't.
23:27Danger's balling.
23:27And I was just going to say, there are thousands, if not millions of people who owe her an apology
23:32about all the memes and all the tweets watching her miss, miss, miss, miss, miss, miss, miss.
23:38Oh, no wonder why she gets all the me-bounds.
23:40And then she puts up, what, 30 and 13?
23:43Wow.
23:4316.
23:44Yeah.
23:44I mean, I was watching it on the laptop, watching the Niners.
23:48She had a rebound in the fourth quarter late.
23:51I rewound it.
23:52I was like, wow.
23:53It was like a big boy rebound.
23:55And then she put it behind her back and, like, waited for everybody to go up court after.
24:01But, obviously, I think they need one more player, maybe, moving forward.
24:05Now, they can still win it, but is Gabby?
24:07Yeah.
24:08How did Gabby look?
24:09Did she look gimpy at all?
24:11Because I wasn't totally locked in on it.
24:12And after the Game 1 incident where that was kind of a dirty box out.
24:17I didn't even think of that.
24:18And I think she caught a little bit of a knee tweak in that.
24:20I didn't know how she looked.
24:22She got up 15 shots, so.
24:23Okay.
24:24Well, there you go.
24:25She got up 22, I think, in Game 1.
24:27She's three for 15.
24:28All right, guys.
24:30So, Guru, yes, worry about the Valkyries, but don't worry about what time they tip off.
24:35Okay?
24:35You weren't with me on that 10 a.m. deals?
24:38That's too early for me.
24:39Remember, if they play at 5 o'clock, they're playing at the local Lions Club.
24:44Doug Ryan, that's why.
24:46Anyway.
24:46Hi, Stiney.
24:47Take it away, gents.
24:48095.7.
