Using the International Space Station's Extravehicular Mobility Unit (EMU) as its reference, this video follows the systems that support a spacewalk: pressure, oxygen supply, breathing-gas circulation and carbon-dioxide removal, cooling, protective layers, and movement.
It also separates the circulating water in the cooling garment from the feedwater the sublimator consumes to carry heat out of the suit. Supplies and operating limits depend on the mission and configuration. Launch/entry suits and other exploration systems can differ.
