00:00There was LAFC versus Galaxy, and you know what?
00:04It never disappointed.
00:06It was such a great game.
00:08Galaxy started winning 2-0, visiting the BMO Stadium.
00:14El Companique texted me.
00:16Very, very, very snarky memes, I gotta say, Companique.
00:20But at the end, Buanga, the star player for LAFC,
00:25was able to get the goal back.
00:26And then Wilta, this younger player that just started this season, number 81,
00:31finds himself in the right position with a nice pass from Sonny
00:34and scored the equalizer 2-2.
00:37And there was a disallowed goal on the 97th minute.
00:41LAFC almost scored at the closing minute of the game,
00:44but it was disallowed for an offside from Aaron Long, number 33,
00:49and captain of the black and gold.
00:50And they divided points, one point for each.
00:54That, for LAFC, was great because they qualified.
00:57With that extra point, they qualified for the playoffs.
01:03So LAFC qualifies in sixth place for the playoffs.
01:05Galaxy is still fine.
01:07Who has the bigger fan base here in LA?
01:09Oof, that's a question.
01:10I feel like the LAFC has developed a more devoted fan base.
01:14Without a doubt.
01:15Without a doubt.
01:15The stadium energy and the stadium vibe is very different in between.
01:18First of all, here, I walk two blocks, get on the expo, travel, and I'm in the stadium.
01:24If you want to go watch Galaxy, you've got to get on the 405 down south for half an hour,
01:30dude.
01:30Wow.
01:31To Carson.
01:31So, I think that has been a critical component for LAFC to become the IT team of Los Angeles.
01:39Also, LA Galaxy has been abysmal for the last two, three seasons.
01:43They have not been able to make it to the playoffs.
01:45Their star player that made them champions three years ago has re-injured himself with two seasons, Ricky Puig.
01:51And that has really taken the luster away from the team.
01:55How is Inter Miami doing?
01:56Inter Miami is in second place right behind Nashville, already qualified, but they lost
02:02to New York City, to Red Bulls, to New York Red Bulls.
02:05Even with Messi coming off the bench for the second half, they were not able.
02:10Carlos Gil scored a massive goal to get the victory for New England.
02:15Nashville is the team to beat this season.
02:17Miami is struggling to catch up with them in the Eastern Conference.
02:20New England's on the West, Vancouver, and FC Dallas, a team that has not been in the top
02:26spots for many, many years.
02:28I will even say five or six years since we've seen Dallas, you know, perform at this level.
02:32So, it's good to see new teams.
02:34The playoffs are coming.
02:35Decision Day is in three weeks.
02:38It's been a great time.
02:39I love soccer.
