00:00The NFC East still up for grabs, although don't ask the Giants, because the Giants might very
00:09well be the best of the rest here, as they, as a double-digit dog yesterday, did the unthinkable.
00:18They won outright, ruining a whole lot of other survivor picks, by the way, along that path.
00:25But they certainly played well, and they played better than, I think, what a lot of people
00:33thought they might get out of them.
00:35I know we were maybe a little bit worried about the whole trip to London and then fly
00:39back, but Houston looked so good against Jacksonville a week ago.
00:43Last couple of games looked like they were going to save their season, Craig, and then
00:50here we are heading into what?
00:52Week number eight?
00:54Week number eight, this defense is not good.
00:57I can't for the life of me figure it out, but they are not good.
01:01They're not beating anybody this year, and that's a big problem for the Houston Texans.
01:06Yeah, they're getting run over by everybody.
01:09It's very weird.
01:10This is one that I didn't see coming, and I was thinking about this game as it was playing
01:17out, and it was one of those rare occasions where you looked at the game, and you looked
01:22at the points, and you thought, this is just way too many points, like it doesn't make
01:26any sense, and it ends up happening that way.
01:29Like, it just was so weird that they were getting 10, and McCarthy, he played okay.
01:33He wasn't, like, fantastic.
01:35He didn't continue what he did in the previous game, but he did just enough to help them
01:39win.
01:40Giants, I think they're probably a little bit better than 500 team, slightly above.
01:46That makes you a juggernaut in that division, so I fully expect them to win the NFC East
01:52at this point.
01:52That was a monster win for them.
01:54And as far as Houston is concerned, Joe, you just said it.
01:56Like, their defense, like, that was their calling card, and they can't play any D at
02:00all, so I suspect at this point, I would probably lean on any no bets for them to make it.
02:06I think that's probably easy.
02:07It's probably a minus 170 or whatever it is at this point, but I would say D'Amico
02:12Ryans, you know, probably should be feeling it a little bit.
02:16I definitely think so.
02:18They should not be this bad.
02:20They shouldn't have opened up the season like they did, but they did the same thing a year
02:23ago, and then they came back strong.
02:26By the way, all they had to do was win that game by a point, and for the standings, you
02:30know, ATS, different story, but for the standings, it would have meant a lot to Houston, and
02:34now you look at it, even with the head-to-head win that Houston has against Jacksonville, Jacksonville
02:39had the week off, you kind of feel like it's Jacksonville's division to lose at this point
02:43because the Colts clearly, even though the Colts covered, the Colts clearly at this point
02:47will be waving the white flag here in a few weeks.
02:51Yeah, it's not good.
02:52I mean, they gave it the old college try there, but that's just not going to get it
02:57done.
02:59Minnesota defensively got it done and just did enough offensively to, what are they, the
03:06only undefeated team left now in the NFL because the 49ers lost.
03:12Here's Minnesota coming out of the bye.
03:15Didn't get the cover though, but they did win the game 16 to 10 there, but is Jonathan Taylor
03:22up for trade?
03:24Is that, are the pieces going to start?
03:27Are we, do you have to strip it down here at this point?
03:30Because why would you keep any of it?
03:31I don't know.
03:34I feel like NFL trade deadlines and NBA to a degree, but more so the NFL, we make so much
03:41out of this with nothing ever happening.
03:44We can do that, Joe, we can have this conversation and it seems like there's going to be trades
03:48and I saw some report today that, oh, there may be a dozen trades.
03:51We do this every year and then the trade deadline comes and goes and nobody gets traded.
03:55So, you know, the other thing too is like, they screwed themselves last year, Indianapolis.
04:03So the Gardner, Gardner trade.
04:05Yeah.
04:06But like Williams, Gardner, somebody is going to have a fire sale.
04:10The question is who, but what would you say?
04:13Like, even if Jonathan Taylor was traded, it's so complicated.
04:15Like, first of all, you have to find the correct team for him to go to.
04:19I think I have the perfect team for him to go to, but you have to find the team.
04:24And then you really like, what, what is he worth?
04:27Like at this day, like he's still young enough at this stage of his career, but like a first
04:33round pick for a running back, no running backs get taken in the first round anymore.
04:37Only love, I think was the only one that I don't know.
04:38Was Jarrett was price a first round pick.
04:40I can't recall, but you can't, yeah.
04:44Yeah.
04:45Right.
04:45But, but, but, but, but, but is Jonathan Taylor still worth a first round pick right now?
04:50My answer is no to that.
04:51So would the Colts take a two?
04:54To, to do that?
04:56I, I, I don't know that they should.
04:58I, I honestly, if I was the Colts, hang on to them, make your deals in the off season.
05:01You don't have to do anything right now.
05:03Just enjoy what, to make us happy.
05:05Give us something to talk about.
05:06Come on.
