00:00Mind your own business, you arrogant kid!
00:02I understand. If this satisfies you, I will do it.
00:06Look at him, everyone. The proud Samuel is begging like a helpless dog now.
00:11Come on, pour the wine.
00:13That is enough.
00:15Hey, who the hell do you think you are? Do you have any idea who I am?
00:19Mind your own business, you arrogant kid!
00:22I know exactly who you are, Walters.
00:24And I know your company just sold its entire debt portfolio to Apex Capital this morning.
00:28How on earth did you get this?
00:30Allow me to introduce myself. From today onwards, I am your new creditor.
00:34From this moment on, Samuel is under my protection.
00:37If you or anyone else dare to touch him, we'll Kerm insult him again.
00:40I am deeply sorry, Mr. Evan. I had no idea. We are leaving right now, immediately!
00:45Oh my god, that is the famous billionaire Evan.
00:48Why would an elite like him step personally to protect a bankrupt artist?
00:53Thank you, Mr. Evan.
00:55Evan, but why are you doing all this for a complete stranger like me?
01:00You are no stranger to me, Samuel.
01:04You never were.
01:05What am I going to do now?
01:07Even if Mr. Evan save me tonight, the studio is still on the edge of bankruptcy.
01:14Mr. Evan, the storm is getting worse.
01:17Shall I bring him in?
01:18Your identity might be compromised if you go out there yourself.
01:22Mr. Evan, you haven't left yet?
01:25I thought you already returned to your office.
01:27The weather is terrible. My car is right there. Let me give you a ride home, Samuel.
01:32Thank you for your kindness, Mr. Evan, but I don't want to ruin your luxury car. I can just wait
01:37for a taxi here.
01:38I don't care about the car. Get in. We need to talk about the future of your studio.
01:46Mr. Evan, I am incredibly grateful for what you did at the party.
01:49But why are you showing so much interest in my studio? We have never met before tonight.
01:53We are businessmen, Samuel. I see potential in your art and your designs.
01:56Apex Capital wants to invest in your business.
01:59This is too generous. This isn't an investment, Mr. Evan. This looks like a charity.
02:04What do you expect from me in return?
02:06I expect you to rebuild your empire, Samuel. Sign this contract, and nobody in this city will ever dare to
02:12disrespect you again.
02:15I need to review this carefully. This is a life-changing decision for me, Mr. Evan.
02:20Take all the time you need. I am not going anywhere, Samuel.
02:25No. No, please. Not the prototype designs. Everything is ruined.
02:30Look who's back. Your little boyfriend from the party isn't here to save you now, Samuel.
02:36Pay up, or we break the rest of this trash.
02:39Get out of my studio. This is private property. You have no right to destroy my work.
02:44Rights! We have the right of a legal debt collection.
02:47If you can't give us the cash, we take it out of your skin.
02:54Touch him again, and I will make sure you spend the rest of your miserable lives in a federal prison.
02:59As of two hours ago, Apex Capital has legally acquired all outstanding debts of this property.
03:04You are now guilty of trespassing and property damage.
03:08Wait. Apex Capital? The billionaire Evan? We were just leaving. Let's go!
03:15Years of research. All gone in a single afternoon. I have nothing left to show the investors.
03:31Mr. Evan, why are you doing all this for me?
03:34This goes far beyond a simple business investment. I can see it in your eyes.
03:39Because your talent is worth protecting, Samuel.
03:42And maybe I just can't stand seeing you suffer.
03:45As long as I am here, your work will never be destroyed.
03:48I still cannot believe you managed to clear those thugs out so quickly, Mr. Evan.
03:53This meal is the least I can do to express my gratitude.
03:57You do not need to thank me, Samuel.
03:59I told you, your talent is a valuable asset to Apex Capital.
04:03No. Protecting you is simply protecting my investment.
04:07You speak like a true businessman.
04:11But your kindness reminds me of someone I used to know a long time ago,
04:14back when my life was completely different.
04:17I would like to hear about them if you do not mind sharing.
04:20Yes. A very dear friend named Ethan.
04:22A younger brother?
04:25What happened to him? Do you still keep in touch with this boy?
04:31No.
04:32My family went through a terrible crisis back then,
04:36and I had to leave the city overnight.
04:38It all happened so fast, and I never got the chance to say goodbye to him.
04:42Do you ever think about him now?
04:44Do you wonder what kind of man he grew up to be?
04:46I think about him often.
04:49I always wonder if he is doing well,
04:51and if he grew up to be a strong, successful person.
04:54I just hope life has been kinder to him than it was to me.
04:58I am certain he grew up well, Samuel.
05:01And I am sure he never, not even for a single day, blamed you for leaving.
05:06Well, well, look who we have here.
05:07The famous bankrupt artist, Samuel.
05:10I heard a rumor that some mystery idiot actually threw money at your pathetic little studio.
05:14My studio received a legitimate invest based on our design capabilities.
05:17It has nothing to do with you.
05:21Really? Don't make me laugh.
05:23Your family had a tough time before, and your father went through a lot before he splashed it.
05:28Oh, so that's one from this family that went through those hard times?
05:31How does he have the courage to come to a nicey anquit?
05:34That is enough, Mark.
05:35My father's past mistakes do not define my work or my moral standards today.
05:38A loser's son will always be a loser, Samuel.
05:40No matter how much luxury wrapping you put on, you are still a piece of trash covered in mud.
05:44You don't belong here.
05:45You have to also tell me family throughout my career.
05:47Let's see how proud you can be after tonight.
05:49You are finished in this industry.
05:52The only person who is completely finished tonight, Mark, is you.
05:56Mr. Evan, what a pleasant surprise.
05:59This is just a minor personal dispute between us.
06:02It has nothing to do with Apex Capital.
06:04According to the National Regulatory Board, Mark's flagship harbor project has been permanently terminated
06:10effective immediately due to severe fraudulent compliance.
06:13No, that's impossible. That project's my company's entire line. You can't do this to me.
06:17I told you before, touch him, and I will destroy you. This is just the beginning.
06:24Thank you for saving me again, Evan.
06:27If you hadn't showed up, Mark would have destroyed everything I have left.
06:31I told you, as long as I am here, no one is allowed to disrespect you.
06:38But Mark is right about one thing.
06:41My past is a mess, and my family name is ruined.
06:44I don't want my troubles to affect Apex Capital or your reputation.
06:48You don't have to thank me, Samuel.
06:50I told you, as long as I am here, no one is allowed to disrespect you.
07:00Look at me, Samuel.
07:01Do you really think I care about what those fools think?
07:04This has never been about business or reputation.
07:09You are an elite investor, and I am just a struggling designer.
07:13Why are you doing all this for me?
07:16Because it's you, Samuel. It has always been you.
07:19This is an investment, and it's definitely not a burden.
07:22This is my choice, and I would do it a thousand times over.
07:25Your choice. I don't understand.
07:29Why do you look at me like you've known me for a lifetime?
07:32You don't have to understand everything right now.
07:35The wind is getting cold, and you are still recovering.
07:42Just let me take care of you.
07:44Okay. Let's go home.
07:46But Mark is right about one thing.
07:47My past is a mess, and my family name is ruined.
07:50I don't want my troubles to affect Apex Capital or your reputation.
07:53Because it's you, Samuel. It has always been you.
07:56This isn't an investment, and it's definitely not a burden.
07:58This is my choice, and I would do it a thousand times over.
08:02Samuel, my brother.
08:04I came back the second I heard about the trouble here.
08:06Are you all right?
08:06Ethan, you're finally back from your travels.
08:09Don't worry, I'm completely fine now.
08:11Wait, who's that?
08:12Am I losing my mind, or are you actually standing here dressed like a billionaire?
08:16I am Evan, the CEO of Apex Capital, and I am here purely on a professional investment basis.
08:22Oh, Apex Capital. Right, of course.
08:24My apologies, Mr. Evan.
08:25You just look identical to a stubborn little kid I used to know.
08:29This guy is legendary in the business world.
08:31He just likes to talk nonsense, Samuel.
08:32Don't waste your energy on him.
08:33Let's focus on what truly matters, which is your future.
08:35I know, Ethan.
08:36He even risked his own safety to protect my designs from those thugs.
08:40Trust me, Samuel.
08:41Mr. Evan never invests in something unless it holds a special place in his heart.
08:44He is the most reliable, dedicated partner you could ever find in this world.
08:49Thank you for the compliment, Mr. Ethan.
08:51Now, if you don't mind, Samuel and I still have some confidential clauses to review.
08:56All right, all right.
08:57I can take a hint.
08:58Business first.
08:59I will leave you two professionals to your intimate discussion.
09:02See you later, Samuel.
09:03You have no idea how much this rigid billionaire has changed.
09:07Do you remember the summer when Evan was just 13?
09:10I remember that summer vividly, Ethan.
09:13But what does that have to do with Mr. Evan?
09:16Ethan, that is completely irrelevant to our current business.
09:19You are drinking too much wine tonight.
09:21Oh, but I think it's very relevant, Samuel.
09:24Do you want to know what happened that summer?
09:25This cold-faced president has been hiding a secret crush since he was 13.
09:29Irrelevant?
09:30Come on, Samuel.
09:31That summer, he casually praised a drawing and said intelligent boys were the most charming.
09:35Guess what this little kid did?
09:36He locked himself in his room for the rest of the summer.
09:39He studied business and design like a madman just because of your single sentence, Samuel.
09:44Shut up.
09:44If you cannot behave yourself, Davis can arrange a car to send you back to the airport immediately.
09:49A quiet boy who changed his whole life for a casual praise is incredibly specific.
09:56Oh, look at the time.
09:57I just remembered I have a very important date with a beautiful lady.
09:59You two professionals enjoy the music.
10:01Goodbye.
10:02He called the little bro, and you shared the exact same name as that sensitive boy from
10:08my past.
10:09If I told you it wasn't a coincidence, Samuel, would you run away from me again?
10:12Little elf, is that really you?
10:15You're the little boy who used to follow me.
10:21Yes, it's me, Samuel.
10:22I am the boy you saved in the rain, the boy who used to sketch your shadow when you weren't
10:26looking.
10:26Why did you hide it from me?
10:27Because when you left that summer without a word, my world went completely dark.
10:31I promised myself I would become the most powerful man in this city so that when you
10:35needed me, I would have the power to stand in front of you and shield you from every
10:38single storm.
10:39I promised myself I would become the most powerful.
10:42In the past, you protected me from the bullies.
10:45Now and for the rest of our lives, it's my turn to protect you.
10:48I am never letting you go again.
10:51Evan, I don't know what to say.
10:53I am a bankrupt artist, a man with a ruined family name.
10:56I am not worth all this dedication.
10:58He grew up to be a powerful man who can shield me from the world.
11:02How am I supposed to look at him time and now?
11:05A business investment?
11:06He did all of this, spent billions of dollars just to find me.
11:10My heart.
11:11Why is it beating so fast?
11:14Good morning, Samuel.
11:15You didn't sleep well last night, did you?
11:18I noticed the lights in your apartment were on until dawn, so I brought your favorite blueberry
11:22scones.
11:23Thank you, Mr. Evan.
11:25Taking care of you is never a waste of time, Samuel.
11:28Never.
11:28And this is the future expansion proposal for your studio.
11:32I drafted every single clause myself last night.
11:34Evan, why are you giving me so much control over the funds?
11:37You are risking too much.
11:39Because it's your empire, Samuel.
11:41My wealth and my resources are just tools for you to conquer the world again.
11:46I don't care about the financial returns.
11:48I just want to see you stand at the top, proud and happy.
11:54The storm is getting worse, Evan.
11:57The radio says all roads downtown are completely flooded.
12:02I'm afraid no taxis can come tonight.
12:06Then don't leave, Samuel.
12:09My place is safe, and I have plenty of room.
12:12Drink this.
12:14It will help you stay warm.
12:19You are always so thoughtful.
12:21It's just...
12:22I feel like I am disturbing your privacy by staying here like this.
12:26You could never disturb me, Samuel.
12:28Having you here in my apartment, watching you wear my clothes.
12:31This is the only time this place has ever felt like a home to me.
12:35Forget about the designs for tonight, Samuel.
12:37Look at me.
12:38I didn't open Apex Capital for those papers.
12:41And I didn't wait 13 years just to discuss business with you in my living room.
12:45Evan, please.
12:48You are too close.
12:49I don't know how to answer you when you look at me like this.
12:52It's different from before.
12:54Then don't answer with words, Samuel.
12:56Just feel it.
12:57I am the boy who grew up for you,
12:59and I am the man who will keep you safe from every storm outside this window.
13:03Mr. Evan, the media is losing its mind.
13:06Mark's remnants have leaked fabricated stories about Samuel's bankruptcy,
13:10accusing him of financial fraud.
13:14Clear the lobby, Davis.
13:15If any reporter tries to block my way, ruin their career.
13:18They dare to touch his past.
13:20Track down every single IP address behind these articles, Davis.
13:23I want these media companies shut down by noon.
13:24I am already frozen their servers, sir.
13:28It's happening all over again.
13:30No matter how hard I try, that shadow will always find me.
13:37Samuel!
13:39Where are you?
13:40Answer me!
13:51Samuel, please look at me.
13:53I'm right here.
13:54The nightmare is over.
13:56Go away, Evan.
13:57Don't look at me like the internet.
13:58Those articles, they are right.
14:00My family name is ruined,
14:01and I will only drag you down into the mud with me.
14:05I am not going anywhere, Samuel.
14:07Let them write whatever they want.
14:09They cannot touch you as long as I am breathing.
14:15Thank you all for coming.
14:17Today, Apex Capital will expose the malicious campaign targeted at Samuel's studio.
14:22This is the complete evidence chain.
14:24Every single fake article was funded by Mark's shell companies to deliberately marnish Samuel's reputation.
14:29Furthermore, we have submitted a formal report regarding massive compliance and financial violations within Mark's core network.
14:39This is unbelievable.
14:41The evidence is completely bulletproof.
14:43Mark's entire alliance is finished.
14:45No.
14:46This can't be real.
14:47That financial data was highly classified.
14:50How did Apex Capital get this?
14:51I will say this once.
14:53Anyone who attempts to use outdated family history to insult or sabotage Samuel will face the exact same fate.
15:00He really did it.
15:02He cleared my name in front of the entire world.
15:07It is done, Samuel.
15:09No one will ever dare to speak a single word against you or your family again.
15:16Ethan, everything happened so fast.
15:18The peak summit, the media, the way Evan handled Mark.
15:22It feels like a dream.
15:23It's not a dream, Samuel.
15:24That's my brother.
15:26That's the man he forced himself to become all because of you.
15:29Because of me?
15:30Ethan, we haven't seen each other in 10 years.
15:32He was just a boy when I left.
15:33When you left that summer, Samuel, Evan completely lost his soul.
15:37My family collapsed and I had no choice.
15:40But I never knew he suffered so much.
15:43He didn't just suffer, Samuel.
15:45He used that pain to drive himself.
15:46He refused every person who ever tried to get close to him.
15:49He became a stone-cold businessman just to build an empire big enough to find you.
15:52An empire?
15:53Just to find me?
15:54That's completely insane, Ethan.
15:56He is a billionaire elite now.
15:57He could have anyone.
16:05What is this?
16:06It looks like Ethan's old sketches, but the handwriting on the cover, it belongs to someone else.
16:15He wrote down the exact date we met in the alley.
16:18Every single word is about me.
16:26He saved a button from my old shirt.
16:30He kept it for 13 years.
16:32Evan, you foolish, beautiful boy.
16:34Why did you carry this heavy secret all by yourself?
16:38I thought I was completely alone in the dark after my father's downfall.
16:43But you were there, holding your breath, waiting for the day you could be...
16:47And I will no longer let you wait in the shadows.
16:49Mr. Samuel, the car is waiting downstairs.
16:52Mr. Evan has just out the soul point at the Quipple's so sure.
16:55And only 20 in the penthouse has been to any of the shipment.
16:59So, we head back to the city.
17:02Yes, Davis.
17:03Take me back to him immediately.
17:04I need to see him right now.
17:07You hold on to this, I will never let you leave.
17:08I'm not your little brother anymore, Evan.
17:09You are the man who protected my dignity.
17:11Evan, I am back.
17:13I went to the old house.
17:15Samuel, you are...
17:15Davis said you went back to the countryside.
17:17Is everything all right?
17:18I am fine, Evan.
17:20I am better than I have been in a decade.
17:21I was just looking at something very precious.
17:24Samuel, why are you looking at me like that?
17:26Did something happen at the old estate?
17:29Nothing bad happened.
17:30I just found this notebook.
17:32Your notebook, Evan.
17:33From the summer when you were 13.
17:35That...
17:36You shouldn't have seen that, Samuel.
17:37It was just the foolish thoughts of a young boy.
17:40Evan O. U. Tim Blaine.
17:41Please, don't let it complicate things between us.
17:43It complicates nothing, Evan.
17:45It clarifies everything.
17:46I used to think I was alone in the dark,
17:48carrying a ruined name.
17:49But you were always there,
17:50building an empire just to find me.
17:51Samuel, do you understand what this means?
17:53If you hold on to this, I will never let you leave.
17:54I am not your little brother anymore, Evan.
17:55You are the man who protected my dignity.
17:57The man who saved my soul.
17:58And right now, my heart is beating for you.
18:00Not out of gratitude, but out of love.
18:01You have no idea how long I have waited
18:03to hear those words from you, Samuel.
18:05From this moment on, you are mine.
18:06And I will protect you with everything I have.
18:08I am yours, Evan.
18:10I am not running away anymore.
18:11Let the world try to tear us apart.
18:13We will face it together.
18:15If you take this step, there is no turning back.
18:20I don't want to turn back, Evan.
18:22I've spent too long running from the shadows.
18:26Do you truly understand what holding my hand means, Samuel?
18:29It means you are giving me the right to keep you by my side forever.
18:32I know exactly what it means, and I am ready.
18:34I don't want to be just a memory from your past anymore.
18:38You are my entire world, Samuel.
18:40Don't say things you might regret when the morning comes.
18:43I will never regret this, Evan.
18:44For the first time in my life, I feel safe.
18:47I feel loved.
18:48I believe you, Samuel, more than anything.
18:51But you just found out about my secret today.
18:54Your heart is overwhelmed.
18:57I want you to think about this when you are completely calm.
18:59I have waited 13 years, Samuel.
19:02I can wait a little longer to make sure you are absolutely certain.
19:05You are the most foolish man I have ever known, even.
19:09But I will give you your answer every single day.
19:15Well, well.
19:16Look at my successful son.
19:18You found yourself a billionaire protector, haven't you, Samuel?
19:23Thomas.
19:24Why are you here?
19:25You abandoned me and left the country years ago when the family broke down.
19:28Get out of my home.
19:29Get out?
19:30Is that how you treat your own father who brought you into this world?
19:33I know all about Apex Capital, Samuel.
19:35I need $5 million as a retirement settlement, and I need it today.
19:39$5 million?
19:40You didn't give me a single dime when we were on the streets.
19:42I won't give you anything.
19:43I've never no buy for me.
19:46Leave before I call the police.
19:48Call the police?
19:49Go ahead.
19:50But before they arrive, I will go straight to the media.
19:53I will tell every reporter that you used fraudulent family assets to fund your studio.
19:57I will completely destroy your billionaire lover's...
19:59Don't you dare touch Evan.
20:00Don't you dare ruin his life or Apex Capital.
20:03Get out of here right now.
20:04You think you're strong now because you have a rich boyfriend?
20:06You are nothing.
20:07You type in my name.
20:08Pay the money.
20:10Please, just stop.
20:11This is your very last chance, Samuel.
20:13Sign the bank transfer, or I swear this decision will have consequences.
20:18Step away from him and leave this to the law.
20:21You will answer for what you have done.
20:27Thomas, Apex Capital has been tracking your assets and movements for years.
20:32We have the complete underlying evidence chain of your bank fraud, identity theft, and child abandonment cases from a decade
20:39ago.
20:39This is impossible.
20:40You can't use these old records against me.
20:42I am his biological father.
20:44I have rights.
20:46Your time is up, Walters.
20:48If you dare to come within a mile of Samuel again, or if a single rumor appears in the media,
20:53Davis will hand these files to the federal authorities immediately.
20:57You will spend the rest of your miserable life in a maximum security prison.
21:05I'm leaving!
21:06I'm leaving right now!
21:07Don't call the police!
21:08I will never show my face around here again!
21:11I swear!
21:12He is gone, Samuel.
21:13The shadow is completely gone.
21:15From this moment on, you are entirely safe, and your past can never hurt you again.
21:20Thank you for being my shield, Evan.
21:24No.
21:25Stop.
21:25Please don't touch him.
21:27Don't hurt Evan.
21:28I'm right here, Samuel.
21:29No one can hurt me, and no one will ever hurt you again.
21:32It's just a dream.
21:33It's all my fault.
21:34My family.
21:35The ruined name.
21:36I will only drag you down into the mud.
21:39Leave us alone!
21:40Go away!
21:41Don't ruin Apex Capital!
21:42I got you, Samuel.
21:43Hold on to me.
21:44Look.
21:44Thomas is gone.
21:45He's never coming back.
21:47I promise you.
21:49You saved me 13 years ago, and now it's my turn to give you a home.
21:53You are my entire world, Samuel.
21:55You could never drag me down.
22:01Hey, you're finally awake.
22:03How are you feeling?
22:04Does your head still hurt?
22:05Evan, you haven't slept at all, have you?
22:07I couldn't close my eyes while you were in pain, as long as you are safe.
22:12A hundred sleepless nights are worth it.
22:14Come here, Evan.
22:15Lay down next to me.
22:16You need to rest, and I want you close.
22:21Good night.
22:22Good night, my Samuel.
22:24I will always be here.
22:25He stayed by my side the whole night.
22:27Even when I was trapped in my worst nightmares, he never let go of my hand.
22:31I spent 10 years running from the ghost of my father, convincing myself that I deserved
22:36to be alone in the dark.
22:37But every single time I fell, you were there to catch me.
22:40Good morning, Samuel.
22:42The fever seems completely gone.
22:44Are you feeling any better now?
22:45I am much better, Evan.
22:47Not just because the fever broke, but because I finally stopped running from my own heart.
22:51What do you mean, Samuel?
22:52You can tell me anything.
22:53I am listening.
22:53For a long time, I thought my family name was a curse.
22:56When my father ruined everything and left me on the streets, I lost my dignity.
23:01I told myself that anyone who loved me would only get dragged into the mud.
23:05But then you showed up, Evan.
23:07You didn't care about the debts, the scandals, or the rumors.
23:11You built an entire corporate empire just to find me, and you used your own body to shield
23:16me from every storm.
23:18I was too nervous to hear you say that.
23:20Do you have any idea if you from your family's collab was collapsed 13 years ago?
23:24I am sorry I let you carry that pain for so long.
23:26But from this day forward, your future belongs to me, and I am never absent from your life.
23:30Well, well, look at this.
23:32Matching slippers at the front door?
23:33I guess I completely skipped the dating phase and went straight to a cozy marriage life.
23:37Ethan, you're finally here.
23:39Don't tease us the moment you walk through the door.
23:41Come in and sit down.
23:42You are here just to make noise, Ethan.
23:44I can easily cancel your seat at the dinner table.
23:46Samuel spent hours preparing your favorite dishers.
23:49Wow, the cold billionaire actually wears an apron.
23:53Samuel, look at how he treats me.
23:54I am his biological brother, but I feel completely replaced in this house now.
23:59You will never be replaced, Ethan.
24:01You are my best friend and his brother.
24:04But I must admit, Evan has been spoiling me more than I deserve.
24:08You deserve everything, Samuel.
24:10Ethan, tell us about your travels.
24:11We want to hear some real stories instead of your complaints.
24:14Actually, seeing you two like this, it makes me happier than anything I saw during my journey.
24:18Samuel, you have no idea how much I missed your genuine smile.
24:22For ten years, I watched this stubborn ruin his sleep just to build a corporate empire to find you.
24:26I know, Ethan.
24:27He told me everything.
24:28And I promise you, I will never let go of his hand again.
24:31Then as your brother and your friend, I officially give you my blessing.
24:34May the shadows of the past never find this house again.
24:37Cheers to your future.
24:38Cheers to our future.
24:39Evan, look at this.
24:40A global conglomerate wants to partner with our studio.
24:43This could put our designs on the international path.
24:45An international partnership is a huge step, Samuel.
24:48You worked so hard for this recognition.
24:50Let me have my team look over their background first.
24:56Mr. Evan, we have a serious situation.
24:59I ran a deep compliance check on the conglomerate that approached Mr. Samuel.
25:02Their overseas funding network has direct ties to the group that caused the bankruptcy of his family years ago.
25:07Then we fight together.
25:07Davis, cancel the rejection note if we will accept their meeting.
25:11But on our own terms, we're going to set a targeting him again.
25:13They want to use this trap to completely crush his studio and get him back into dark room.
25:18I won't allow it.
25:19Should we expose their compliance violations immediately, sir?
25:22Or should I draft a formal rejection to shield Mr. Samuel from their approach?
25:26Reject the contract on behalf of Apex Capital.
25:30Tell them our investment terms forbid external joint adventures.
25:34Do it quietly, Davis.
25:35Samuel must not know about their ties to his past.
25:38I will destroy them in the dark.
25:39Evan, I heard what you just said.
25:41You are trying to hide the truth from me again.
25:43Samuel, this is just a routine business dispute.
25:46You don't need to worry about it.
25:47Let me handle the corporate greed.
25:48I saw the name of the conglomerate, Evan.
25:50I know who they are.
25:51They are the ghosts of my family's ruin.
25:53But I am not that weak boy who can only hide behind your back anymore.
25:58Samuel, you're a dangerous issue, Evan.
26:00It is not a tedious thing, everything you told Davis earlier.
26:02You wanted to reject a massive 13-year-old just to shield my name from the ghosts of my past.
26:06You are still trying to be my armor.
26:08In the end, the enumor is financial.
26:10I know you can protect me, Evan.
26:11You will even while you fight my battles and then let me you walk out.
26:14It is not a tedious issue, Evan.
26:16I heard everything you told Davis earlier.
26:19You wanted to reject a massive international partnership just to shield my name from the ghosts of my past.
26:24You are still trying to be my armor, even when the enemy is a ruthless financial giant.
26:30They are dangerous, Samuel.
26:32Their financial trap is designed to swallow your studio whole and drag you back into that cold, dark room of
26:36despair.
26:37I built this corporate empire so I would have the power to destroy anyone who tries to hurt you.
26:42Let me protect you.
26:43It is not a tedious issue.
26:44Everything you told Davis earlier.
26:46We wanted to reject a massive international partner.
26:48I know you can protect me, Evan.
26:50You have the power to destroy them.
26:52But look at me.
26:52I am not that fragile 13-year-old boy.
26:57Samuel, entering a corporate war with these people means your old family tragedies will be dragged into the media spotlight
27:02again.
27:02Are you truly ready to face that storm?
27:04I am ready, Evan.
27:05I am not afraid of the spotlight or the shadows anymore because I have you by my side.
27:09Let us face the past together as equals.
27:11Let me help you rewrite the ending of my family's tragedy.
27:13You never fail to amaze me, my Samuel.
27:15All right?
27:16If we fight, we fight together.
27:17Mr. Victor, I have already conceded 3% of our core design intellectual property.
27:21We must sign this international partnership today.
27:24My studio cannot wait any longer for global expansion.
27:27Calm down, Samuel.
27:28Apex Capital has strict rules about joint ventures.
27:31Are you sure your billionaire protector won't interfere with this arrangement?
27:35Evan does not own my studio.
27:37I am the lead designer here.
27:38If Apex Capital tries to stop my global recognition, I will personally dissolve our investment agreement.
27:43Just give me the funding.
27:44Look at him, Davis.
27:45The enemy truly believes he is desperate enough to betray my protection.
27:49Mr. Evan, our bait funds have been successfully deployed into the joint account.
27:53The conglomerate's compliance scanners just picked up the liquidity.
27:56They believe your assets are exposed.
27:57What do you mean my assets are exposed?
27:59I need that liquidity now.
28:00Excellent.
28:01Keep tracking their offshore accounts, Davis.
28:02Once they inject their primary capital to swallow Samuel's studio, we will lock the financial net and collect the evidence
28:08of their illegal trade.
28:10Boss, the trap is fully irrational.
28:12Samuel's completely blinded by greed.
28:14He just signed the waiver clauses and even threatened to break ties with Apex Capital.
28:18Perfect.
28:19Do not give Evan time to react.
28:20Pump all our offshore capital into that project right now.
28:23We will buy out Samuel's designs and bankrupt Evan's subsidiary in a single afternoon.
28:28Apex Capital is finished.
28:30Evan thought he could rule this city, but his precious little artist just handed us the keys to his destruction.
28:37I did it, Evan.
28:39Victor completely took the bait.
28:40He thinks I am ready to ruin our partnership for international fame.
28:43You were magnificent, my Samuel.
28:45Davis just confirmed they are transferring their entire shadow inventory into our trap account.
28:49They have no idea they are stepping into their own ruin.
28:52Let them celebrate for tonight, Evan.
28:54Tomorrow we will close the net and show them what happens when they try to destroy our future.
28:57Ladies and gentlemen of the press,
28:59Today marks the end of Samuel's independent studio.
29:01From now on, his designs belong to our global conglomerate.
29:05Are you sure about that, Victor?
29:06Before we sign, I think the public deserves to see the actual terms hidden within this contract.
29:10The contract is already finalized.
29:12Do not sabotage this international partnership in front of the media.
29:17Look at the screen, everyone.
29:18This is not a strategic partnership.
29:20It is a calculated, fraudulent scheme designed to illegally seize my intual property and bankrupt my investors.
29:27Oh, my God.
29:28The clauses are clearly predatory.
29:30This is a massive corporate scandal.
29:31How did you find those hidden encryption codes?
29:34You are ruining everything.
29:38Allow me to introduce the officials from the International Financial Regulatory Board.
29:42As of ten minutes ago, all offshore funding routes related to your conglomerate have been permanently frozen.
29:46Mr. Victor, your company is under official investigation for massive compliance violations, money laundering, and corporate espionage.
29:52You are under arrest.
29:53Apex Capital couldn't have tracked those accounts.
29:55The boss promised we were safe.
29:56Evan, you ruined us.
29:57Your conglomerate destroyed Samuel's family a decade ago.
30:01Did you really think I would let you get away with it a second time?
30:03I built my empire for one reason only.
30:06To destroy parasites like you.
30:09The war is over, Samuel.
30:11Your family name is fully cleared, and the people who hurt you are going to pay for the rest of
30:15their lives.
30:16You earned every bit of this applause, Samuel.
30:18The world is finally seeing the brilliance that I have always known was inside you.
30:22Congratulations, Mr. Samuel.
30:24The international market response has completely broken our corporate records tonight.
30:28Apex Capital's board is absolutely thrilled with the results.
30:31We couldn't have handled the offshore compliance network without your brilliant intelligence work, Davis.
30:37Please enjoy the evening. You deserve a rest.
30:39It is my absolute honor, sir.
30:41Enjoy your moment in the spotlight.
30:42Mr. Samuel, over here, please.
30:44Your studio just pulled off the most miraculous turnout weddle in the modern design industry.
30:48Can you tell us the secret behind how a bankrupt studio managed to dismantle a global conflamerate's predative scheme in
30:53a single afternoon?
30:54What gave you such absolute confidence to fight back?
30:57The secret to my success is very simple, gentlemen.
31:01It is not about market strategy or financial leverage.
31:05I was able to stand firm because there has always been one person standing right behind me.
31:08He used his entire corporate empire and his absolute unconditional bias to give me the ultimate courage to face the
31:13shadows.
31:13Look at the way he even looks at him.
31:15That billionaire giant completely destroyed his biggest competitor just to protect this man's dignity.
31:19Tell them, Samuel.
31:20Let the whole world know who you are.
31:21And I will continue to stand behind you for the rest of our lives, Samuel.
31:25Your empire is my empire, and your happiness is my only goal in this world.
31:29I am ready for whatever comes next, Evan.
31:32As long as I am wrapped in your warmth, I have nothing left to fear.
31:37I still can't believe we just left everything behind, Evan.
31:40No board meetings, no financial reports, just the two of us on this empty island.
31:44A-day's capital can survive without me for a week, Samuel.
31:46But I cannot survive another day in that city without giving you the peace you deserve.
31:50This vacation belongs entirely to you.
31:52If the business world saw the terrifying billionaire Evan smiling like a carefree boy on a beach,
31:57they wouldn't believe their eyes.
31:59You look so different when you're not fighting a corporate war.
32:03I only show this side to you, Samuel.
32:05To the rest of the world, I am a shield.
32:09But to you, I am just the boy who promised to love you under the summer sun.
32:13I don't need the CEO title here.
32:15Thank you for waiting for me, Evan.
32:17Thank you for never giving up on that sensitive boy from your past.
32:21After everything my family went through, after all the dark rooms and the loneliness,
32:24I never imagined I could hold a love this pure.
32:26You don't ever have to thank me for loving you, Samuel.
32:28Walking through through those dark years hard, but every step I took was to get closer to you.
32:31You are my home, and finding my way back to you is the best thing I've ever done.
32:41Shut up, Ethan.
32:42This is the most critical executive decision of my entire life.
32:45I cannot afford a single margin of error today.
32:47Is the ring alignment perfect?
32:48Relax, Evan.
32:49The ring is flawless.
32:50The venue is spectacular.
32:51And most importantly, Samuel loves you with every fiber of his loving.
32:55You've waited 13 long years for this moment.
32:57Be confident.
32:58He carried so much darkness from his family.
32:59I want this pavilion to be the birthplace of his permanent goodness.
33:03The transport details are synchronized, Mr. Evan.
33:05The peripheral security has cleared the campus, ensuring absolute privacy for your special evening.
33:09Bring Samuel here under the pretext of reviewing the historical design layouts of the old campus.
33:17Make sure he suspect absolutely nothing.
33:20White roses and hyalithics.
33:22This looks like a celebration.
33:27Oh my God.
33:28This is Wuss.
33:29This is the first day we met in the school alley.
33:32I still remember the soap flint on my shirt that day.
33:34Evan kept all of these.
33:36Even the drawings I made on the napkins.
33:38He saved every single piece of our past.
33:41Samuel, I have walked through the darkness for 13 years just to have the strength to stand before you today.
33:47Evan, you don't need to prove anything to me anymore.
33:49You have already given me more than I could ever ask for.
33:5513 years ago, under the summer sun, you saved a scared, lonely boy.
34:01Today, that boy has grown up and he is begging you for a lifetime.
34:05Evan, please stand up.
34:07You are the CEO of an empire.
34:09You shouldn't be kneeling in front of me.
34:10I am only a king because you are my world, Samuel.
34:13Look closely at this ring.
34:14Do you recognize what is inside?
34:16The button, the one I lost in the alley, you kept it all this time?
34:21You really loved me since you were 13?
34:23Yes.
34:23From that very afternoon, my only dream was to become strong enough to marry you,
34:27to shield you from every storm, and to cherish you for the rest of our days.
34:31Samuel, will you marry me?
34:32Yes, a thousand times yes, Evan.
34:34I am no longer running away.
34:35My future belongs to you.
34:37You are mine now, Samuel.
34:38No one in this city will ever dare to hurt you again.
34:43Congratulations, Mr. Evan and Mr. Samuel.
34:46May your bond remain unbreakable for us.
34:48Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today in the sight of these witnesses to join Evan
34:53and Samuel in holy matrimony.
34:55Look at them.
34:57From that dark owl corner to this sunny altar, it took 13 long years.
35:01You finally made it, little bro.
35:03This is the most successful investment Apex Capital has ever made, a lifetime of absolute
35:09happiness and peace.
35:10Evan, do you take Samuel to be your lawfully wedded husband, to love him, comfort him,
35:14honor and keep him in sickness and in healthers, keep the only unto him so long as you both shall
35:19live?
35:19I do.
35:20I do.
35:21Evan, do you take Samuel to be your lawfully wedded husband, to love him, comfort him,
35:25honor and keep him, and to love him with every single breath in my body until the end of
35:28time?
35:29Samuel.
35:30Samuel, do you take in, smile, all tactic, crepness, gestuab, in sickness and in health,
35:34and forsaking all others, keep the only unto him so long as you both shall live.
35:38By the power vested in me, you may now pronounce you partners for life.
35:44These white roses are blooming beautifully this morning.
35:47They remind me so much of our wedding day.
35:50Evan, you're awake early today.
35:52I thought you were still resting after that long board meeting yesterday.
35:55They are beautiful, but they can never match your radiance, my love.
36:00I can't sleep well without you next to me.
36:02The bed felt too cold the moment you stepped out into the garden.
36:04You talk as if you've been gone for days, Evan.
36:06It has only been twenty minutes.
36:08Twenty minutes is twenty minutes too long.
36:09In my world, every single second away from you feels like an eternity.
36:13You are getting more and more spoiled, corporate giant.
36:15What happened to the terrifying CEO of Apex Capital?
36:18You always say things that make my heart skip a beat, Evan.
36:20An angel?
36:21I was just a student who couldn't stand seeing someone get hurt.
36:25But you were my angel, Samuel.
36:26You still are.
36:28Holding you like this, right here, feels more real than any business empire I have ever built.
36:33Fate works in the most beautiful ways.
36:35Back then, I was just a miserable, insecure boy who would hide under this exact tree,
36:38holding my breath just to catch a brief glimpse of my favorite senior walking by.
36:42The weight of the early day, that boy isn't hiding anymore, and this senior isn't running the whole way.
36:46We found each other through the storms, and nothing will ever change that.
36:49I am yours forever.
36:52And I am yours, Samuel.
36:54From that summer afternoon until the end of time, my heart only beats for you.
