00:15This place is amazing.
00:30Oh my gosh. Isn't this nice? I can't even believe that we're here right now. It's amazing. It's next level
00:41beautiful. So, so beautiful. How crazy. So cool.
00:54It's amazing. It feels like we're the only people alive right now. Cheers guys. So right now we're on Devil's
01:11Mountain and this was a spy center that was used to spy in East Berlin during the Cold War.
01:16And I'd say it's probably one of the best views to see the sunrise in the world. I'm definitely the
01:25best place to see the sunrise in Berlin.
01:27Yeah, for sure. I don't even like the cold that much. Yeah, I know. It's pretty cold.
01:34After tonight, I think. It's fine.
01:39Hi. My name is Chelsea Leyland. I'm from London, but I live in Brooklyn in New York. I'm a DJ.
01:52The way that I would describe my style, I tend to use the word bipolar because it changes on a
01:58daily basis and it changes quite dramatically.
02:01I'd say that I'm mostly influenced by the music that I'm listening to, the countries that I'm traveling to and
02:09the films that I'm loving.
02:12So I tend to like to channel characters from films that I sort of want to be in my head.
02:19And I came to Berlin to play a gig, which is really exciting because it's probably one of my favorite
02:25cities in the world.
02:26And the reason that I say that it's one of my favorite cities is because I just think it's such
02:31a creative place, such an amazing place to come to hear the best DJs in the world, to see amazing
02:37art.
02:38And I think that it's it's really one of the last places left that feels authentic and has that really
02:44honest sense of authenticity.
02:48Hi, my name is Gabby Mitchell. I am from the Caribbean, a very small island called Mystique.
02:55Not many people have heard of it or know of its existence, but I'm from it, but it exists, so
03:00promise.
03:01I am an event producer at this place called Miss Lily's, which is a Caribbean restaurant slash event space slash
03:09radio station slash everything you could possibly need to entertain.
03:14It's in New York. So that's kind of where I'm from, at least where I live now.
03:20My style is described by my friends as cozy, but not clothed, which is to say, I don't really wear
03:28much clothing.
03:28I've got very long legs. It's hard to wear jeans and many other things, but I definitely like to keep
03:34myself comfortable.
03:35And that's class at the end of the day, I suppose.
03:39And so this is my first time to Berlin. Decided to come and join my friend Chelsea.
03:44She's got a gig coming up, so we figured we'd come here and I've heard all the stories.
03:50So I know Berlin is a madhouse, a mad, mad, mad, mad place.
03:55So I'm very excited to see what we can get ourselves into and up to.
03:59Hi, guys. My name is Kylie Kuhn and I'm from San Francisco, California, just north of San Francisco in a
04:08town called San Rafael.
04:10It's actually three generations. I know what am I talking about? Six generations of my family have lived there.
04:16So it's like, you know, just a place that I grew up and love so dearly.
04:21I spent time in New York and just came back. So I love being out there.
04:26I work with my family there and we have a nonprofit organization called Roots of Peace.
04:32We work with farmers to take out landmines and then train them how to agriculturally grow crops that increase their
04:39yields.
04:39So it's definitely something that I'm extremely passionate about.
04:45And then I'm also renovating a houseboat with my boyfriend.
04:48So we've got a lot of stuff going on out there.
04:52Let's see. My personal style, I would say that is it bounces around.
05:00I mean, most of the time I dress like a tomboy and whatever is most comfortable I go for.
05:07But then when I dress up, I like to get, you know, a little bit more girly and fancy and
05:12it's a good balance between the both of them.
05:16So, yeah, here I am in Berlin.
05:19I have never been before, but Chelsea talks to me about it all the time.
05:25She says it's just like a place I have to check out.
05:29You know, so I'm really excited to see some of the art here and, you know, really immerse myself with,
05:35you know, just kind of young, vibrant, emerging culture that is, you know, talked about all the time.
05:41I feel like I've been missing out.
05:44Inside or outside should I go?
05:45No, outside. You go around like this.
05:49Oh, dear.
05:50Hey, here we go.
05:53Oh, there's the children.
05:54Oh, sweet.
05:56Oh, there you go.
05:59Oh, there you go.
06:02Oh, shit.
06:04Yeah, perfect.
06:05It's a challenge.
06:07Touch of hot.
06:09Touch of hot.
06:16Do you have any more work here?
06:19Yeah, I can show you something.
06:21Yeah.
06:21Yeah, just down there.
06:23Yeah, just down there.
06:24Yeah, let's go.
06:25We'll take a picture later, right?
06:26Yeah, we'll take a picture.
06:27Oh, I should have just...
06:28Oh, yeah, I get it.
06:58I get it.
