00:07On this episode, I am going to try to decide which of these jeans is low fashion, medium fashion, and
00:13high fashion.
00:14Higher-end items usually have the nicer details, I would say.
00:18Pigment-wise, you can definitely tell a higher quality jean because you're not a blue alien by the end of
00:25the day when you take off the pants.
00:26So I've noticed you guys have really taped up everything here, all of the detailing, so I can't tell which
00:31jeans are which by looking at them.
00:33I'm going to have to test this based on the feel, based on how they look when I put them
00:38on.
00:38So I'm really going to have to tap into what I know about the fashion industry and try and guess
00:44which of these jeans are high fashion, low fashion, and medium fashion.
00:49Before we get started, we're going to say a little prayer that I can get my ass into them.

00:56Based on a lot of things, the sizing, the stitching on the pockets here, I'm going to say these are
01:03the medium pair.
01:06From the get-go, I think these are probably the middle ones. I don't know.
01:10I'm going to try these on so I can really get a good sense of what this price range might
01:15be.

01:18These jeans are not the easiest to get into. I actually did not think that I was going to be
01:22able to.
01:23There's definitely spandex or lycra or something in these. I mean, I can...
01:29I can plie very easily in these.
01:33Now that they're on, I feel like these are the inexpensive ones.
01:36Just like the seams feel very thin. The jeans itself feel very paper-like.
01:41They're super comfortable. I could run a marathon in them.
01:44Okay, so on to the next pair.
01:47Okay, these ones are nice. Loving the fringe. It's a wide leg. These feel a lot more fashion-forward.
01:53I feel like right now in denim, the trend is that everything needs to be deconstructed, but it's in a
01:59very artful way.
02:00Whereas this feels like safe. That's a nice way. It's like safe. It's like from like Banana Republic or something.
02:05The fabric feels really sturdy and durable.
02:09I want to say that these are the high-end jeans.
02:13I'm going to go with medium.
02:17They feel great. Plie test. They work.
02:21I could put the dance floor in these.
02:23I don't like the way they fit.
02:25The fringe, I think, could be a little more rugged. It's like a little too neat-looking as it is.
02:29So these are the ones that I think are the highest.
02:33I'm going to stand by the fact that this is the medium fashion pair.

02:40Oh gosh, now I'm questioning everything that I just said because these feel really nice too.
02:44Everyone has jeans like this in their closet, more of like the boyfriend fit kind of style.
02:49The detailing is nice. You'll notice that there is not obvious stitching around the crotch or the pockets.
02:55There was a process here to these jeans, and I'm going to call this the high-end pair.
02:59Now I'm going to guess that these are the middle ones, and the first ones that I held, the really
03:03stretchy ones, are the low-priced ones.
03:07The material in itself feels luxe. It feels good. It's soft against my skin.
03:11The buttons were easy to work. The zipper's fine.
03:14They felt the most restricting over my thighs when I pulled them up.
03:19The detailing looks aged as if it's like hand-done. It's not with a machine.
03:23Plié test? Not good. Not good. I know based on how they feel, the style of them, they're either the
03:31highest or the middle one. They're definitely not the lowest.
03:34I stand by my assessment that this is the high-end pair.

03:45This is not artful in any way. It doesn't feel expensive or luxe.
03:49It looks like it's pulling on your thighs, and at one point in time, this was like a big statement,

04:07I do see the difference in price in between the quality and the buttons, but again, there's still certain things

04:20The deconstructed hem here, you can tell that it's like a little more expensive because there was like some time

04:34I just finished trying on all three pairs of jeans, and I was totally right in my assessment.
04:40As far as today's jeans go, I really liked all of them.
04:44I think that they all were cute. I love the Club Monaco pair.
04:48I have to say that my favorite was the lowest-priced pair.
04:51The most expensive pair was actually the pair that fit me the least,
04:55which really goes to show that jeans shopping across the board is a little bit of a crapshoot,
05:00and you have to do some trial and error to find the pair that really works for you.
