Stop the rip where you want.

00:00Ripped jeans are awesome, but if there's anything not awesome about them is that
00:03the holes have a tendency to get bigger and bigger and bigger. So how do you keep
00:07a pair of ripped jeans from ripping even more? All you need are iron-on patches, a
00:11straightening iron, and a pair of scissors. Here's how you do it. Because jeans rip
00:15from side to side, only concentrate on reinforcing the left and the right side
00:19of the hole. So you can find these iron-on patches at most specialty craft stores,
00:23cut two pieces to fit, and then using a hair straightener, iron them on. I use a
00:27hair straightener because it's a little bit easier to use and personally I don't
00:30have an iron. If you have an iron go for it, but I find that a hair straightener
00:34works just fine. Just don't use your really really nice one because in case
00:37you could gunk on it you're gonna be really sad about that. So then flip them
00:40back around, put them on, and you are all set. So the great thing about this
00:44technique is that it's completely invisible from the outside. Once you do it
00:47once you never have to do it again because it really stays put. There you
00:50have it.
