00:09I've seen a lot of women wearing this fabric in the hair look but I'm super
00:12low maintenance with my hair so I'm hoping that Adam can teach me how to
00:15make it wearable. So we've been seeing a lot of fabric on the runway Chanel just
00:18showed this this past season so obviously it's not your everyday look so
00:22today we're gonna play on how we can make this really wearable for our low
00:25maintenance friends. So I want to work with her natural part today she has a
00:28great center part and I think that'll be really beautiful for this look. So I'm
00:31using about a quarter size of gel today and we just want to use this to really
00:34help smooth everything down as we're blow drying. Once that gets into place you can
00:41go ahead and start brushing your hair into a low ponytail. So before we start adding
00:45any fabric I really want to work on creating texture with the hair so today
00:48we're gonna play with the crimper. Welcome back to the 80s. So I'm just gonna work
00:52with some small sections. Maybe you want to do the entire ponytail is crimped. Maybe
00:55you just do one or two pieces. I'm gonna really play on some that are just crimped
00:59halfway down the hair strands, some which are fully down the hair strands. How am
01:03I going to get fabric into my ponytail? I've actually pre-attached bobby pins to
01:08my strips of fabric so we can pin them right into the ponytail. So go ahead and
01:11have fun with your placement. You can bury some inside the ponytail, some on the
01:15exterior. I've also selected several different colors, some muslins and some
01:19satins. Alright so as you see there's this whole mess happening around the base.
01:23We're actually gonna just take two strips of the fabric and we're gonna twist them
01:25together and we're gonna wrap it right around to secure the base. We have these
01:29remaining excess strips here so you can come back in with your scissor and just
01:32go ahead and add some varied length spray up some of that fabric. Just to create a
01:36little texture we're gonna apply some hairspray directly to the ponytail and
01:40that'll help just with adding some volume into there. Alright Rach. So I'm really
01:44happy with the way this turned out. It's so much more subtle and wearable than I
01:48thought it would be. It's amazing. Think about what you're wearing, what fabric. So today she is on silk. I'm
01:52working with satins. It's a similar sheen. Chanel uses tweed. There was tweed in the
01:57hair. If you have extra strips, carry them in your bag. You can transition into the
02:00nighttime hours with that look. Have fun with it, okay? It's great.
