00:14a little afraid to try it out so hopefully Adam will be able to show me how to pull it

00:18Maria what's your biggest fear about this gelled down look? Well I think just because my hair is
00:22so short I'm afraid that the balance is going to be off and the gelled part is just gonna be
00:26so
00:27overpowering. Okay well I think your hair is at a great length for this look so I
00:30really can't wait to create it. Great. Excellent let's have fun. Okay. So to start this look we're
00:34just gonna wet the hair from the top of the head down to right at the ears. I'm gonna use
00:39a fine
00:39tooth comb in the process as well to distribute that water down to the line. Focus the spray up
00:45top and then comb through. I'm just gonna come in here with a stronghold gel I'm gonna put the
00:51product directly on to the comb and then comb it into the hair. So then you can go
00:56right on ahead and just sculpt this into place. Determine how you'd like that to
01:00fall around the face and just lie everything down nice and tight. So now
01:07we're gonna diffuse this gel into place so this style locks in. I'm using the hot
01:12sock. I love this because it's super lightweight. It's small. It travels easily.
01:18So now that we've just finished diffusing this look and it's good and solid I'm
01:22gonna go right ahead and take a clip and a napkin so that I can lock this into place while
01:27I address
01:28the bottom half of this hairstyle. I'm gonna come in with some Osses volumizing powder. Really
01:33just make sure that we can get some great texture on the bottom half of this hairstyle.
01:38I'm gonna use the Tony and Guy sea salt spray. It's just gonna add a little extra bump to this
01:44texture.
01:49Now that this texture has been put in place I'm gonna go ahead and remove all these
01:52clips and napkins and then we're gonna finish up the style. I'm just gonna come
01:57back in with the hairspray and lay down any little flyaways that may have gotten
02:00out while I was diffusing. Alright Maria I just finished this look. Are you ready to see it?
