00:00Hey, shalom brothers and sisters, welcome back.
00:03Today I want to talk about the subject of adultery.
00:09Yes, you know, many, many, many of us have been victims to towards, you know, to adultery.
00:17And, you know, of course, you know, it's in the Ten Commandments, doubt shall not commit
00:21adultery.
00:22That was in Exodus 20, verse 14.
00:26And I just want to read this little article to you right here.
00:31Okay, it says, 60% of married men will have an extramarital affair.
00:3850% of married women will have an extramarital affair.
00:4350% who are online use the internet to cheat.
00:4838% who are online engage in explicit online sexual conversation.
00:5450% talk on the phone when someone they first contacted online.
01:0131% who converse online are led to an actual sexual encounter.
01:0833% of 97 million U.S. singles date from online contacts.
01:1525% of online relationships are romantic in nature.
01:2170% of internet users' time is devoted to building romantic or platonic relationships.
01:2987% of teens own one or more personal media devices.
01:3551% of teens use the internet daily.
01:39Multiple websites for married couples to arrange extramarital affairs now exist.
01:45Believe it or not.
01:47But that's what technology is, you know.
01:50There's good in it and there's also evil in it.
01:52And that's just kind of alarming statistics.
01:56And that was from about three or four years ago.
02:01So either it's the same or it could have spiked.
02:05Hopefully it went down quite a bit.
02:06But I doubt it with human nature.
02:09But anyways, I want to share some scripture with you about adultery.
02:14And like I said before, many of us have been victims of it.
02:18And, you know, in this day and age, you know, adultery, it's not a crime, you know.
02:23I mean, it used to be back a long time ago in the 70s and on back, there used to
02:27be a thing called the Man Act.
02:29But if, you know, a married spouse was caught cheating, they and the cheater could be arrested, jailed, fined, both,
02:38whatever.
02:39But nowadays, it's not like that.
02:41You know, it's sort of, you know, I don't want to say acceptable in a way, but, you know, it
02:47still hurts people.
02:48And not only the innocent married person, it hurts the children, too, if there's any children involved.
02:54Because the way I, you know, the way I figure, and it's just me, the way I figure, if you
03:00have a spouse that loves you or says they love you so much and they hurt you like that, that
03:05just tells me they're going to hurt anybody.
03:06They'll hurt their own kids intentionally or unintentionally.
03:09You know, maybe for another lover or their own selfish ambitions.
03:13But that, like I said, that's my opinion.
03:15But anyways, I want to share some scripture with you.
03:18And before I do that, I encourage you to go to 2 Samuel chapter 7 for the good lesson about
03:25King David and Bathsheba.
03:29Please read that chapter, read that, you know, about David's, how he committed adultery with a married woman, Bathsheba,
03:37and then had her husband killed in the line of battle by telling his generals and everything to put the
03:44guy in front of the lines to make sure he gets killed.
03:46So David committed two sins, you know, he transgressed the laws, you know, of adultery and murder.
03:53But please read that.
03:55And anyways, I want to go to the book of Proverbs.
03:59Proverbs has got a wealth of information and everything in it.
04:04Let's see, let's see, go to Proverbs, excuse me.
04:12Go to Proverbs 6, no, I'll go to 30, 30, chapter 30, verse 20.
04:21Let's go, uh, such, such is the way of an adulterous woman.
04:27She eateth and wipeth her mouth and saith, I have done no wickedness.
04:33And that does sound like today, you know, I mean, not just with women, but men in general, too.
04:38They commit adultery and then they try to justify it in any way they can.
04:43A lot of times they just deny it.
04:44Even if the evidence is in their face, they deny it.
04:47But they always try to sugarcoat it like, oh, it ain't nothing big, you know, or I didn't do it
04:51or, you know, something.
04:52But it's just, uh, that's just a perfect example of the mindset of an adulterer or an adulteress.
05:00Now I'm going to jump back to, uh, Proverbs 6, uh, 6, uh, 32.
05:11But whosoever committeth adultery with a woman lacketh understanding, he that doth, that destroyeth his own soul.
05:21So, uh, he lacketh understanding because right here, I mean, to me, it plainly states that, you know,
05:28he's not thinking on a level head, he's not thinking with the right head, committing adultery and everything.
05:33He's letting his hormones and his lust get the better of him.
05:38And he's not, I'm not a man at all.
05:39He's not a strong man to be a man.
05:41You got to not just be able to fight, you know, outside, you know, externally,
05:46you got to be able to have the fight, take the fight inside and conquer yourself self-control.
05:50Oh, that's what you have to do.
05:52But anyways, with that said and done, uh, and another thing, the book of Hosea, please, when you have time
06:00to do that,
06:01get your Bible out and read that.
06:02Cause Hosea, that poor guy had to marry a prostitute and she committed adultery and, you know, had kids and
06:09everything.
06:10And that poor guy, he just, but Yahweh wanted him to marry her to prove a point about, you know,
06:16unfaithful Israel and unfaithful Judah.
06:19That's what he was getting at with this prophet.
06:23But anyways, I'm going to go, I want to go to, uh, see Matthew, Matthew five, Matthew five, 28.
06:38Matthew five, 28.
06:44This, and this is, uh, this is from the master himself, but I say unto you that whoever looketh at
06:51a woman to lust after her
06:53hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.
06:57That's where it all starts to heart.
06:59When it starts in the mind and the heart, then, you know, it motivates you to go deeper and do
07:05it physically, you know,
07:07and, um, remember Yeshua, he come, he didn't come to destroy the law or the prophets.
07:13He come to fulfill it, magnify it and everything else.
07:15And he also come to teach to people, you know, you don't just follow the law by, you know, the
07:21letter of the law.
07:22You follow it in the spirit too.
07:23And that's what he's getting at right here.
07:24If you look at, if you even look at a woman in a lustful way, you've already committed adultery.
07:30And, you know, that's, that's a profound statement right there.
07:32He got right to the core of it, you know, he's, he's trying to restore the true meaning of what's
07:37going on.
07:39And, uh, now I got to go to, uh, Matthew 15.
07:44I'm jumping over to Matthew 15 right now.
07:46Please follow if you have a Bible.
07:49Matthew 15, 15, 19.
07:55For out of the heart proceedeth evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, and blasphemies.
08:04So at them are all evil thoughts.
08:06They are evil, crooked, corrupt, you know, because there's always a victim involved.
08:10And sure enough, you know, Yahweh, he's a victim too, because it's showing that you don't love him.
08:14But it's also, you know, you're victimizing other people.
08:18And, you know, some, you know, some, some sins like lying or adultery, some people, oh, that ain't bad.
08:24But if it comes to like murder or something, you know, oh yeah, that's, but no, all of them are,
08:28are equally, you know, you're held equally accountable for all of them.
08:33You know, that's just a, that's just a fact, fact right there, you know.
08:38But anyways, let's go to John.
08:41Here's a story I want to, I want to read to you.
08:45In the book of John, let's see, John, John 8.
08:51Remember, you remember, you got to remember this story here.
08:56John 8, uh, it'd be gone from, uh, verse, verse 1 to verse 11.
09:01This is when, uh, the woman was caught in adultery and the Pharisees brought her to Yeshua to see what
09:07he would say.
09:09They're trying to trap him, really.
09:10But here, Yeshua went out unto the Mount of Olives, and early in the morning he came again unto the
09:17temple, and all the people came unto him, and he sat down and taught them.
09:23And the scribes and the Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery.
09:27And when they had set her in the midst, they say unto him, Master, this woman has taken in adultery
09:36in this very act.
09:38Now Moses in the law commanded us that such should be stoned.
09:43But what you sayest thou?
09:46Then he said, thus they said, tempting him that they might have had to accuse him.
09:53But Yeshua stooped down with his finger, wrote on the ground as though he heard them not.
09:59So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself and said unto them, He that is without sin among
10:09you, let them first cast a stone at her.
10:12And again he stooped down and wrote on the ground again.
10:17And they that which heard it, hearing the convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at
10:26the eldest, even unto the last.
10:28And Yeshua was left alone with the woman standing in the midst.
10:33When Yeshua had lifted up himself and saw none of the woman, none of woman's accusers, he said unto her,
10:40woman, where are those thine accusers?
10:43Hath no man condemned thee?
10:46She said, no man, master.
10:48And Yeshua said unto her, neither do I condemn thee.
10:52Go and sin no more.
10:54Now a lot of people think that, you know, it's kind of like a forgiveness, but not a forgiveness where,
11:01you know, like repentance, but forgiveness where it's okay to go sin and commit this type of sin in others.
11:06It's not.
11:07But Yeshua, what he was trying to get to the point was, these guys, these rabbis and scribes, people were
11:13hypocrites, hypocrites of the law.
11:17And a lot of scholars, this is a funny thing I just want to relate to.
11:20A lot of scholars, you know, say that when Yeshua stooped down, started writing things in the dirt, you know,
11:27and they looked at it, that's what brought them to, you know, you know, fear, put fear in the scribes
11:34and Pharisees.
11:35They walked away because he was writing their names down that they committed adultery, too.
11:38They could have committed adultery because they, you know, they were crooked, crooked priests and leaders.
11:45They were crooked, you know, and they just wanted to always put on a show like, you know, they were
11:51better than thou.
11:52But, you know, Yeshua, you know, he brought them, brought their darkness into the light and he exposed them.
12:00That's why throughout scriptures, you could hear them tell them that, you know, call them hypocrites a lot of times
12:04because they don't practice what they preach.
12:07They expect everybody else to do it, you know.
12:09So, but that was a, that was an example, fine example, you know.
12:15I'm just kind of wondering what the woman was thinking after that, you know, like, you know, hopefully she turned,
12:20turned away, repented and, you know, went the other way.
12:23But, you know, we don't know.
12:25So, uh, I'm going to go to, uh, go to Romans now.
12:32Let's go jump over to Romans.
12:34Romans 13.
12:39Yeah, Romans 13, uh, verse 14 right here.
12:45But put you on the master Yeshua Messiah and make not provision for the flesh to fulfill the lusts.
12:53And that lust is part of fornication, adultery, or whatever, you know, that a person has an eye for.
13:00That's not healthy.
13:01But, you know, you got to put on the Messiah, you know.
13:04You got to have him, you know.
13:05That's what we got to hope for, you know, the Messiah.
13:09Now, I'm going to jump over to, uh, Corinthians.
13:13First, or that is, uh, yeah, 1 Corinthians 6.
13:181 Corinthians 6, uh, verse 13.
13:24Now, meats for the belly and the belly for meats, but Elohim shall destroy both it and them.
13:30Now the body is not for fornication, but for the master and the master for the body.
13:37It's not, your body is not for that fornication that, to fulfill the carnal fleshly desires.
13:42It's for the Messiah.
13:44We're for the Messiah and he's for us.
13:46That's what, that's what that should be, you know.
13:49Oh, excuse me.
13:51So, anyways, you know, I can share one more.
13:55I'll share one more with you in Galatians.
13:59Jump over to Galatians 5, or, yeah, 5.
14:05Where are you at?
14:08Where are you at?
14:12What is it?
14:135, 6, 16 to 26.
14:1816 to 26.
14:20Let me find it here.
14:21This I say then, walk in the spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.
14:28For the flesh lusts against the spirit, and the spirit against the flesh.
14:33And these are contrary to one another, so that you cannot do the things that you would.
14:41But if you be led of the spirit, you are not under the law.
14:45Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these, adultery, fornication, uncleansiness, lawlessness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations,
15:01wrath, strife, sedations, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revelings, and such like.
15:08Of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in times past, that they which do
15:15these things shall not inherit the kingdom of Yahweh.
15:19But the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance.
15:29Against such there is no law.
15:32And they that are messiahs have impaled the flesh with the affections and lusts.
15:38If we live in the spirit, let us also walk in the spirit.
15:43Let us not be desirous of vainglory, provoking one another's envying one another.
15:50So Paul made that quite clear right there.
15:54And it's just, you know, there's other verses in there, you know, talking about adultery or talking, you know, fornication.
16:03You know, fornication could be not just married people, unmarried people or divorced people who, you know, just go out
16:11and just have flings with multiple partners, you know, one night stands or friends with benefits.
16:17And that's not okay.
16:19It's, you know, it's just written in the book, you know, it's inspired, it's written in the book.
16:23And that's the final word, no matter what anybody says.
16:26I don't care what any church says or what other organization or people or, you know, government.
16:33No, it's not okay.
16:34This is the word of Yahweh.
16:37And I just wanted to, you know, you know, talk about this subject.
16:40It's very important, you know, and, you know, you just got to, you know, you got to pray when you
16:45have these impulses.
16:47If you have them, if you got to pray, pray for, you know, strength and wisdom and everything and Yahweh
16:52will deliver, you know, but, you know, you just got to, you know, fill your mind, you know, occupy your
17:00mind with good stuff, you know, you know, to keep your mind away from that's another thing.
17:06And you got the Holy Spirit to help you out, you know, and, you know, just try to do your
17:11best to stay away from, you know, magazines, media, movies, anything related to it.
17:20You know, that's all, that's all you got to do, you know, because, you know, you don't want to, you
17:26don't want to, you don't want to, you know, burn or anything, you know, getting hot water, you know, when
17:32you're facing Yeshua, the great white throne judgment and have to explain yourself.
17:38And, uh, anyways, I want to thank you again for stopping by and watching my videos.
17:43And if you haven't seen all of them, just, you know, given to give other ones a chance, whatever, you
17:48know, gets your curiosity or interest.
17:50And, uh, please like my video and hit the notification bell.
17:56You can be a subscriber and, uh, I got more content coming out and, uh, I thank you again for
18:02stopping by and till we meet again, peace out and shalom.
