00:00I knew that memory went back to that far because something had happened to me. Now when I bring you
00:04a little bit up to my sister knowing that he was abusing me, what happened was a memory. I remember
00:11my body being washed in the bathroom sink often and I was like why am I being washed in a
00:18bathroom
00:18sink? This time I think I was probably the age between three and four and I would ask this
00:23question of myself like how is it that I'm being washed in the bathroom sink more so than in the
00:27bathtub. This was happening because my dad was about to abuse me or he had already abused me so
00:34that is how I knew she was part of it but then when it really opened my eyes to it
00:40my mom was
00:41the willing participant but unwilling because she too would wash my body or prepare my body for my
00:48dad to abuse me. I say willing and unwilling because she did it and she had a choice not to
00:52do it but
00:53unwilling because he was very physical and violent with her so probably in her mind she thought she
00:59had no choice.
