00:00What in the hell happened in Dallas, man?
00:03This team is just so...
00:05The NFC East right now, Dan, is just so wide open for the taking.
00:10And the Dallas Cowboys just keep absolutely pissing down their legs left, right, and center.
00:14You are in a game against...
00:16I mean, I think the Cardinals are nice, but they're one of the worst teams in the NFL just for
00:20this conversation.
00:20And you let them come back with a backup quarterback.
00:23Now, again, we all know Gardner Minshew, a.k.a. Uncle Rico, can get out there and sling the pill,
00:28right?
00:28But, I mean, it was Gardner Minshew, and you lost as when you were up multiple scores in this game
00:33at home.
00:34This was just an unacceptable loss for the Dallas Cowboys.
00:37Obviously, they have a bunch of questions they need to answer on the back end and the defense.
00:41And, unfortunately, I think Dak Prescott's going to have to start to get under a little bit of fire here
00:45about what this offense is able to do, too.
00:47So, yeah, those are a couple of the storylines from last week that stood out to me.
00:50Big questions in Big D.
00:52And what are the Baltimore Ravens going to do with the quarterback position?
00:55Boy, I got to ask you about the Cowboys here.
00:57And Brian Schottenheimer, you know, he loves to tell you what a great play caller he is.
01:02He loves to tell you that he's a great play designer.
01:04He loves to tell you that, you know, he's a guy that knows how to create great offenses.
01:09And Dak, on the other hand, is telling you, greatest offense of all time during the offseason here.
01:14I'm still waiting for all this.
01:16You know, I don't see it with Brian Schottenheimer.
01:19Maybe you do a little bit where he's a play caller.
01:22I mean, we were told this guy was going to be, like, the next Kyle Shanahan.
01:28SPJ, I don't see it.
01:30I have a theory, Dan.
01:31And, I mean, this doesn't apply necessarily to college.
01:33But I have a theory that if you're an NFL head coach and you wear a visor, I don't trust
01:38you.
01:39And something about this guy with the visor on just doesn't do it for me.
01:43But, yeah, all jokes aside, I question this team as a whole.
01:47They are still, and, I mean, Troy Aikman talked about it on the Monday Night Football broadcast last night.
01:52They're still in the race, right?
01:54Like, they keep losing these games and they're still in there just because, again, the NFC East is there for
01:58the taking.
01:59But as Aikman said last night, like, at some point, you just got to win these football games.
02:03Like, you got to go out there.
02:04You got to get the job done.
02:05The Eagles are nothing.
02:06The Camanders, obviously, maybe could make some noise.
02:08But I don't think they're going to make any noise when we get into December.
02:11So, it's them and the Giants at the top of this division that are going to go blow for blow.
02:15So, I don't believe in Schottenheimer.
02:16But I think at the end of the day, this is a defensive issue.
02:20This team still has so many holes.
02:21They were letting Tyler Algier run for 60-yard touchdowns.
02:24They didn't even cross over 18 miles an hour, Dan.
02:27They were running through massive holes.
02:29So, this team has a big problem on the back end of this defense.
02:32And, yeah, Schottenheimer is responsible for the offensive side.
02:35But until they fix that defense, I don't see that anything is going to get better in Dallas.
02:39Here's a number for you.
02:41The first time in 17 years the New York Giants will roll into Philadelphia as a road favorite.
02:48Wow.
02:48What has happened to Philadelphia?
02:50We're talking almost two decades.
02:53That shows you how bad of football the Giants have been playing over these last 10 years, 20 years almost.
02:59I mean, what happened to the Eagles?
03:02Well, I mean, we've discussed this a few weeks, man.
03:05The injury bug bites you.
03:07But, unfortunately, they've just gotten to the point where the injury bug has absolutely ravaged this entire franchise and this
03:12team.
03:13So, I feel for them in that regard.
03:15You lose your starting quarterback.
03:16You lose Saquon for weeks.
03:17You lose both of your starting wide receivers.
03:19You obviously have defensive issues with the injury bug, too.
03:22So, regardless of how talented you are and how good you are in those situations, eventually, if you lose that
03:27many players, it's going to come back and bite you.
03:29But I just don't think that this team has heart anymore.
03:32I really don't believe in the construction of this roster.
03:36And I think it starts at the top.
03:37I mean, not Howard Roseman necessarily.
03:39But I just don't think that Nick Sirianni is the head coach for this football team moving forward.
03:44I know you've probably had a lot of thoughts about this on some other shows and stuff.
03:47But I've never really been a big Nick Sirianni guy.
03:49He was able to keep his job because he won the Super Bowl.
03:52You know, if you win, then he buys you some time, right?
03:55I just never really bought into the fact that he's a true leader of men and somebody that wants to
03:59be – that I would want to play for.
04:01So, yeah, I think there's a Sirianni issue.
04:03But, yeah, big questions in Philly going forward.
