00:00We did watch the Chicago Bears dismantle the Seattle Seahawks last night.
00:05Now, Craig, and you have been the biggest proponent of the Chicago Bears on this network.
00:12And you have certainly believed that, yeah, they are very well could be the NFC champions
00:21when it's all said and done.
00:22I think last night was a huge step in that direction.
00:25Not an easy place to go into and win, but it's not that they just won, Craig.
00:32It's how they won.
00:34They didn't do it by rushing for 250 yards.
00:38They took advantage of every opportunity they could.
00:41And wouldn't you know it, that trade, which they mortgaged the future for,
00:46looks like it paid pretty big dividends early on here against that Seattle team.
00:51So a big win for the Bears.
00:53Now, the question is, are we looking to fade them this week?
00:57Probably so.
00:58But going back to Latin, you've always got to sell.
01:00You've always got to sell high.
01:01You know me.
01:02You know me.
01:02I'm the ultimate sell high guy.
01:04I mean, I'm looking at the front of the jersey, not the back of the jersey when it comes to
01:07sports betting.
01:08So what you said there about Jeffrey Simmons is probably the biggest shock to me of all the things,
01:15is that have we ever seen a defensive player traded like that within a week and have the less than
01:22a week
01:22and have the biggest impact of a player defensively on a football field like that?
01:27Joe, that was shocking to see Simmons play as well as he did against Seattle yesterday.
01:31And so, you know, I said yesterday on the show that I thought Simmons was great.
01:35I think he's a Hall of Famer and I think he's going to help them.
01:37But I didn't think that he's a game changer.
01:39I think I'm wrong.
01:40I think I'm wrong.
01:41I think he may be a game changer for Chicago as well.
01:44We already know that the Bears are probably going to have either the best offense in the NFL
01:47or the second best offense.
01:49But the truth is, is that Ben Johnson's one of the very best coaches in the NFL.
01:53It seems like he's always making the right call.
01:56You know, the second that they start locking in on Burden, they start throwing to Odunze.
02:00The second they start throwing to Odunze, he's finding Loveland.
02:04You know, Swift ran for three touchdowns.
02:06Caleb Williams looks legitimately like he has got a shot to win the MVP.
02:10Yes, it was the team I predicted at the beginning of the season to go to the Super Bowl.
02:14But look, there's still a long way to go.
02:16But, you know, in the world of sports betting, you're never going to get better value than
02:21betting on the Bears starting right now.
02:23Like, I mean, come on.
02:24They look as good as any team.
02:25You just saw them on national television.
02:27Let's not get stupid here and think that they're going to just start going on the road
02:31and beating everybody by 20 points.
02:32That's not realistic.
02:33But that being said, if this continues and the Bears can scratch out 11-12 wins,
02:39get a home playoff game, maybe even get a bye, which I think is in play,
02:43I think you have to look at them as legit contenders to win.
02:47And like I said a few weeks ago, Joe, I think I asked you this probably three, four weeks ago.
02:51I said, if the Bears go to San Francisco and are getting a couple points,
02:56I think you and I probably would take the Bears, like, based on just how we –
03:00and I think that still would be the case.
03:02If Chicago went to San Francisco in the NFC Championship game,
03:05you'd make the 49ers two-and-a-half-point favorites,
03:07and I think we probably would take the Bears in thinking they have a shot to win.
03:10So that's as good as they've looked.
03:12I'm not out on Seattle at all.
03:14I think Seattle will be fine.
03:15They showed enough against Kansas City.
03:18That's a tough road to hoe going against those two teams in back-to-back.
03:22I would buy low on Seattle now and probably buy low on them the rest of the year.
03:26But you said it, Joe.
03:27It was just a thorough beatdown, both offensively and defensively.
03:32And if you're the Bears at this point, I know you don't have a lot of picks to give up.
03:35But I'm here to tell you, if there's any other players that they can get before the deadline on Monday,
03:41I may go all in for Chicago.
03:43They look fantastic.
03:45I agree.
03:46It's – and what, 6-1 now, 7-1 somewhere in that ballpark is what we're seeing them in the
03:53marketplace to win it all.
03:55But still a lot of –
03:57So much time left.
03:58Yeah, so much time.
04:00A lot.
04:01But if I were to ask you, give me the top five teams in the NFL right now, Greg, what
04:10are they?
04:11Right.
04:11So that's the thing is that, like, the worst matchup for the Bears, I was thinking about this.
04:15Like, if – that's why, like, at the beginning of the season, I think it's just a lot better bet
04:20to predict a team going to the Super Bowl
04:22as opposed to winning the Super Bowl because it's really hard when you get that far down the line.
04:26And, Joe, the worst matchup for the Bears in the Super Bowl would be the Bills.
04:32That would be the absolute worst – because the Bills could score like they can score.
